Quality Inn Danville

Staff was great and friendly beds were clean room needed better cleaning no elevator and the pool down was a major inconvenience traveling with 4 kids we came a day early just so they can swim and get that energy out. So having 4 kids between two rooms with no way to get out that energy put a major damper on the trip. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

The property was very dirty. The room smelled of smoke even before we got into the room. The swimming pool was green and unusable.

The hotel needs to update items like curtains (the curtains were badly torn and dirty. The shower had a leak which needed to be repaired. The carpet felt sticky and should be throughly cleaned. The pool had no water and was closed.

Good breakfast. Quiet and safe. Pool was closed and empty.

This property is filthy. I was so very disappointed in our stay. We had bugs in the room, the tv was sporadic and the phone was out. You could hear people walking around above you. Our pool view room was of an empty pool with a hose thrown in it. Just terrible.

The building needs attention. The pool was not in service, and it doesn't look like it has been for a while.

Breakfast was shut down over an hour early so i didn't get to have any. Ants in the room. Pool closed and drained on the one of the hottest days of the year

In room, we have hard time to keep temperature because ac machine is not work well. We have to carry heavy suitcases to second floor because no elevator. Also it was challenge for me to walk on the stairs.

Older hotel with a kinda upfresh. They did some improvements but did not do other things. Very random. Bed and sheets were great in our room, new tv, new light fixtures, new tile and carpet....but furniture was beat up, missing handles, miss match . Lamp was out, clock did not work and the sofa was filthy with band aids in a patch to cover a hole. Place has no elevator and pool was a half full green slime pit.

The ice machine was broke and there is no elevator.

This hotel is in very poor condition. The entire place smells musty and like smoke. In our room, the air conditioner worked but it was pulled away from the wall, to the point where you could clearly see all the way through to the outside. It also dripped lots of water. The carpet was soaking and the ice bucket that the staff had placed under it was completely full of water after one night. There was so much water, to the point where it had to be leaking through the ceiling to the room underneath. The walls in the bathroom were dirty and looked like something had splattered on them. The only positive is that the beds were clean and fairly comfortable, and the sheets were clean. We stayed because we were in town for an event and everywhere else was booked. I do not recommend this hotel.

Place was infested with cockroaches and ants and there was mold everywhere

Bed bugs, blood stains, love stains on furniture and floor.

The bed was comfortable. The room had a moldy smell. The window had condensation. The paint in places needed repaired. The bathtub faucet dripped constantly. The extra lock on the door was broken. The carpet was dirty and gummy.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. We were there 30 min. and left. There was a big hole in the bathroom door that was covered with duct tape, the room smelled so bad and my husband killed a bug running across the floor. The front desk lady was rude and no help. I had booked 2 rooms for a wedding that we were attending and both were disgusting! What a waste of money, so disappointing! Will probably never book through Expedia again, the pics and reviews definitely did NOT match this place. Had confirmation for a room with a king bed and another with 2 doubles since there was 6 of us staying and all they had were 2 rooms with king beds, the front desk person didn’t care that 4 people were apparently going to have to sleep in one king bed. I’m upset that I didn’t take any pictures because I definitely would have posted them.

The room was not very clean. There were dirty smudges on the floor like they used dirty mop water and our shoes were sticking when we walked on it (tiled wet area, not including the carpet). There was blood on the drapes that the hotel staff attempted to clean off. Water marks all over the ceiling throughout the hotel halls. Despite the uncleanliness, the staff was very sweet and the breakfast was great for hotel breakfast. Would not stay there again for the price we paid.

This had to be the worst place I have ever booked at. We ended up not staying the night; we were very uncomfortable and overwhelmed by the smells and uncleanliness of the room. Walked in with a worker having her shoes off walking around and smelled like weed in the lobby. Walked in and walked out checked out and nobody cared to ask why??

Was staying in town for a basketball tournament. When arriving to the hotel the lobby and breakfast area was clean and smelled fresh. The front desk staff were very nice. We stayed in room 114 as soon as we got to the room and opened the door, the smell of mildew and fish blasted us in the face. It also looks like the room was not completely finished. One side of the bed was still untucked, there was toilet paper in the bathroom trashcan. There was also a room list with two keys left on the bathroom counter, by I’m presuming the housekeeper. The bathroom door the bottom part was also pulled from the hinges with exposed nails. Thank goodness, my youngest daughter is old enough to know not to go near it, but is definitely a danger hazard with them poking out. Another parent, I spoke to said her room smelled like smoke and there was no hot water. Luckily my oldest daughter had to room with a teammate and she said their room was fine, but it was also on the second floor as opposed to mine and the other parent was on the first floor.

I was appalled by the condition of this hotel. It's so bad, we had trouble relaxing and enjoying what was supposed to be a wonderful weekend getting together with my sister and her kids. We had two rooms, one upstairs and one downstair, and both were squalid. The sink in our room was clogged and backed up with some disgusting black gunk that floated to the top and deliquesced for the rest of our stay. There were burn holes in the comforter, and the carpet was matted. My sister's room smelled of strong chemicals and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling over the shower. My nephew woke up with a rash after one night in the room. We booked the hotel for Memorial Day Weekend, hoping the kids could use the pool and the adults could enjoy sitting outside, but the pool was drained and because they didn't have a cover on it, the entire pool area was blocked off, so we couldn't even sit outside. The exterior exit on the first floor by my sister's room wouldn't latch or even close completely, so it was completely unsecured all night. Anyone not staying at the hotel could have walked in off the street and come right in. This hotel is in complete disrepair. It's dirty, rundown, and unsafe.

Parking lot needs resurfacing. TV is poor. Bed and bathroom were fine.

Beds are very comfortable, showers are nice. Breakfast is very good (coffee could be better).

Noisy ice machine, guests up all night partying and the property is stick built so be prepared for noise all night from creaking and popping floor boards from people above We didn’t get to sleep until late it was so noisy then woke up at 6am from people getting up and leaving from the room above. The breakfast was a letdown. Breakfast potatoes under cooked and covered with weird flavors. Eggs were omelette style with nasty cheese inside. We chose Quality In because we’ve always been happy with the rooms and good simple breakfast ideal for the lactose intolerant won’t be staying again This has been a disappointment

Our bathroom door had a big hoe in it, and the walls were all patched. It was like a war zone in our room.

Only one outlet worked, remote didnt work, multiple bulbs missing from different lights. Simple things that were neglected

Big screen tv was highlight. Bed was comfortable. Shower did not work, duct tape on curtains, light burned out. No soundproofing, heard walking on the ceiling. A worn out facility.

The staff was very unfriendly, rude to my 4 year old daughter. Not accomodating. Dirty hotel. Will never come here again.

Reserved a room through Expedia in Danville Kentucky, we're from Muncie indiana, only to arrive at the hotel to be told that there was no room available, and then neither the hotel nor Expedia got us into a room in the same city that we reserved our room in and then Expedia never even called us back. Don't deal with Quality Inn because they are in League with Expedia and don't deal with Expedia because they deal with companies like this

James at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. However, many basic amenities one expects from a hotel stay were unavailable, such as shampoo, additional towels, and even eating utensils at breakfast. I'm not sure why they were short on so many items, but someone should have bought the basic amenities for guests to use until their supplies arrived. It was a busy weekend in Danville, so it seemed like poor planning on management's part not to have inventoried what they had and what they needed. Our room was clean, but many of their furnishings, especially in the lobby and dining area, were well-worn and needed replacing.

I was charged for the stay but when I arrived they had no room. They refused to refund my money and hotels.com refused to refund my money. Criminal!

I was concerned when I walked in, first thing I saw was dining area and the seating was worn...but when I turned the corner, the hotel was clean and updated. Breakfast was included, but not that good. Shopping and resturants close by (driving)... Overall a good experience.

Staff were excellent and our room was fine. Only issues were the side door to the hotel was broken open (supposed to be always locked) and walking to the nearest restaurant involved crossing a busy highway

Lights for main sign out. Difficult to locate after dark.

The rooms are so nice and the location is close to everything! We stay at least once a month here!

There were lots of guys hanging around the parking lot and the lobby. We felt very unsafe. We walked in and checked in but as we were going to get our things out of our car, we decided to go elsewhere. The same group of guys watched/stared, in a creepy way, all the way in and all the way out. While the staff was pleasant to us, they seemed put out in general to be there. The key machine wasn't working correctly and I was given one key to the right room and one to the wrong one!

The heater in my room was broken. It blew cold air all night. When I had had enough and went to leave at 5:00 in the morning, I couldn't find anyone to speak to about this. There was a basket on the desk and instructions to leave your key cards there. There was also no breakfast available due to broken equipment.

Room was dirty. Ice machine broken down and covers laying on floor. No toilet paper in the room had to go to desk to ask for it and the lady at the counter huffed at me when I asked for it. Had dirty towels and stained towels. Asked for more towels and they were stained also. Drink machines were broken down for breakfast.

This is a very nice hotel, well-maintained, and worth every penny. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk has a great attitude toward guests. Excellent breakfast.

Sour sewer smell through the property. Checked out early and Expedia could not get in touch with to request a refund for the separate night. Our whole family ended up with food poisoning from the breakfast bar.
