-elevator was broke the whole week I stayed there and I was on the 4th floor -housekeeping never came once -you have to ask for towels and trash bags and there are no trash cans -air conditioner was completely broken and literally falling apart -staircase which we had to use smelled like pee

When I got there the room they gave me was on the 4th floor the elevator was broke so after I got my stuff up to the room I opened the door and it was occupied, tried to call staff but courtesy officer was not answering his phone. So I'm trying to get my money back but I doubt that'll happen even though nothing was my fault

I enjoyed the stay. My only issue was that I had no ironing board, iron or Blow dryer. But I loved having the full kitchen setup.

I love this place. if you want to cook, you will need to have everything required except the stove. there is a family dollar just across dublin granville rd to get utensils though. good prices on disposable or permanent stuff. decent grocery selection. the sheetz is great too. good food (snacks or meals) beer, smokes, coffee, etc. there is actually a ton of stuff in walking distance--subway, a couple chinese restaurants, vape shop, convenient store, mexican food, waffle house, mcdonalds, a bar i think... it is located at the last highway (i71) exit before the beltway (i270) that circles the city. so you will be on the very north end of town, but able to jump quickly onto the interstate.

When we first checked in on Thursday for a 3 day stay, we were told the elevator was broken but not to worry because it should be fixed soon....it was never fixed and we were on the 4th floor. Extremely inconvenient. We booked a smoking room for 2 people and there was only 1 pillow and no ash trays. Everytime we took a shower the people beneath us would complain to us that water was leaking in their room....the bathroom lights burnt out and it was a pain finding someone to give us a new lightbulb. Just overall disappointing stay, the place looks a lot nicer from the outside. Definitely will never stay here again.

There were no utensils, plates, etc, in the kitchen so if you didn't have them, you weren't cooking. There was onsite laundry which was helpful, but pricey. And the machince charged my card multiple times.

The hotel is not very clean, there were bugs in the room. Lots of litter in the hallway. Room was not well maintained, lots of damage to cabinets. There was a stove, microwave and refrigerator, but the refrigerator was turned off. Nothing at all to cook with. No coffee maker. Bed was very uncomfortable. Pictures made the room seem much more up to date than it is.

It was an absolute dump! No staff at counter, called and was told they’d be out shortly, 30 minutes later a man in dirty sweatpants and a dirty shirt came out to check us in. The area was unsafe for me and my young daughter. People out from smoking marijuana and cigarettes right by entrance, entire building inside and out reaked of weed and smoke. Entire place was filthy and disgusting. Finally got to the room, walked in to find dirty floors, dead bugs everywhere, filthy blankets on bed, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months! Worst experience ever!! Left keys on counter and walked out! Absolutely horrible experience! I highly recommend you take this hotel off your site! I am still trying to get my money back! I am traumatized over this! 10pm at night my young child and I were driving around Columbus trying to find a safe and clean hotel to sleep in! Awful, terrible, horrible experience!!

This was the worse hotel I have ever in my life stayed at. The roaches met me at the door we had no working toilet had to drive to gas station no tv or phone in the room person on call didn’t know anything all he said was I only check people in but he was the one answering emergency phone! The lobby bathroom was locked no one knew where the key was water all over the floor! The elevator was broken so I had to do 4 flights of stairs but because it was so late we stayed the night because we had no where to go but checked out first thing in morning ROACHES everywhere!!!! Do not stay here unless you absolutely have no where to go!!!! No towels or soap no nothing

Roaches! Roaches! Roaches! We were so disgusted and scared they would get into our luggage that we had to quicky leave and fine a new place for the rest of our stay. These were the little roaches that are an infestation. The pictures for this hotel were taken a long time ago. The room was very dirty with stains on the bedsheets and holes in the curtains. I will never stay at a Red Roof again.

Everything is super bad they have roaches they dont fix the plumbing toilets flood frequently the insurance also doesn't work its a waste of money the microwave looks like and smells like someone might have manufactured drugs inside of it the sheets were dirty when I came in something brown and sticky on them my room smelled like feces upon me leaving they never fixed the plumbing completely and the bottom of the toilet leaked for two days no one ever came even when I asked for toilet paper for two days the gave me a used roll bad enough I booked this room for 3 weeks and tried to leave 8 hours after check in they were going to still be charged six00 just to cancel first day expedia needs to romove them and code enforcement should shut them down this is definitely illegal to still be open side note they will vandalize your car if you park close to the building happend to me dont know who had time to put adhesive on my windshield

Smells horrible, dead roach smashed on the wall, burn holes in comforter and sheets, mattress pad atop spring frame, hair in the shower, kitchenette filthy and needs some cleaning let alone upgrades, no extra supplies like toiletries and if so 1 per asking for it! Just flat out not a place for a hard working man such as my husband working 5/10’s and needs a good night sleep! The sleep is obnoxiously horrible! Tossed and turned all night just to get comfy, pillows feel like folded towels in a pillow case. Our stay was 8/11/23 - 8/18/23 and could not get a refund as it was non refundable per this app. Glad they didn’t have the audacity to ask for a deposit! The staff was genuinely nice but nothing more. Absolutely the worst experience thus far at an extended stay. Not sure how this place passes any inspections!!

Nothing there was nice, saw roaches, bed was uneven, shower curtain rod was broken and the window was cracked, trash outside on grounds and my check in was horrible after taking the ride eye arriving there around 7am then told I couldn't check in till 3pm so I had to sleep in rental car in the parking lot.

The kitchen had 2 functional burners for cooking, plenty of cabinet space, clean fridge. The ac was odd. it always seemed cold or warm because I couldnt find a setting I liked. It was fine though. I froze the room, then turned down a lil, and waited til next adjust

The cover to our air conditioner fell off multiple times, you could hear everything the people around you were doing. The shower was not clean and had terrible pressure. It was either all the way hot or all the way cold.

Amazing Staff, and very comfy beds, one of the best away from.home sleeps that I have had in a while... The cabinets and stuff are aged and warn, however for the price and offering a way to do your oqn cooking it was not bothersom... Walls could use a washing or new paint... I would stay here again due to the Beds and Staff... God Bless and thanks for being so.accommodating to my special requests...

The hotel is not very clean, there were bugs in the room. Lots of litter in the hallway. Room was not well maintained, lots of damage to cabinets. There was a stove, microwave and refrigerator, but the refrigerator was turned off. Nothing at all to cook with. No coffee maker. Bed was very uncomfortable. Pictures made the room seem much more up to date than it is.

I called earlier in the day to say I'd be arriving late and was told that this would not a problem - just call the number on the phone in the lobby. Arrived at 10:37 PM and was told they did not have my reservation. Called Expedia through whom I had made the reservation and everything was fine on their end. Hometown screwed up and didn't even TRY to see if they had another room availble that night.

The front desk closes at 7:00PM and does not open until 11:00 AM. This can complicate later check-ins, early morning check-outs, and service issues. The alarm on the back door would sound whenever the sensor determined that the door was not properly closed. If the air pressure moved the door, the alarm would sound. If someone exiting through the door did not close it completely, the alarm would sound. All weekend long.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! Didn’t have a room for me, still charged me the full amount anyways & it’s been a week and still no refund, won’t return my or hotels.com calls or answer emails. I booked this hotel and they charged the full amount of the booking. When I went to check in after driving 8 hours they said they were completely full and didn’t have a room for me. They said I must have made a mistake. I showed them my confirmation with the correct date, payment, address and picture of that exact hotel. They said I had to contact hotels.com for a refund. I’ve called the hotel many times in the last week as did hotels.com along with sending multiple emails and have not gotten any replay at all from the hotel so they won’t issue a refund. The area looked extremely unsafe and was very dirty also. In summary I was incredibly inconvenienced by having to book another hotel the because this hotel didn’t have a room for me and they are just not answering any communication so they can try to steal my money and not give a refund.

Horrible. I made a reservation for an entire weekend with us checking out Monday . We had 2 day tickets to the Columbus zoo an water park. We ended up having a problem with our car and did. Or end up arriving until Sunday morning. Only to find out there was no manager on site. And than that they had canceled our reservation. We were then told we needed to contact Expedia for our refund. And now I have been going back and forth with this hotel an expiedia ever since. And I paid for the insurance which in ohio covers your car breaking down. I ended up paying another $100 to stay somewhere eles for the night. It would have been nice if they had contacted me and told me that they had canceled our reservation. I spent $298.00 for my reservation. And another $100.00 for a night somewhere eles. And haven’t gotten a single penny back from any of it.

Amazing Staff, and very comfy beds, one of the best away from.home sleeps that I have had in a while... The cabinets and stuff are aged and warn, however for the price and offering a way to do your oqn cooking it was not bothersom... Walls could use a washing or new paint... I would stay here again due to the Beds and Staff... God Bless and thanks for being so.accommodating to my special requests...

It was an absolute dump! No staff at counter, called and was told they’d be out shortly, 30 minutes later a man in dirty sweatpants and a dirty shirt came out to check us in. The area was unsafe for me and my young daughter. People out from smoking marijuana and cigarettes right by entrance, entire building inside and out reaked of weed and smoke. Entire place was filthy and disgusting. Finally got to the room, walked in to find dirty floors, dead bugs everywhere, filthy blankets on bed, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months! Worst experience ever!! Left keys on counter and walked out! Absolutely horrible experience! I highly recommend you take this hotel off your site! I am still trying to get my money back! I am traumatized over this! 10pm at night my young child and I were driving around Columbus trying to find a safe and clean hotel to sleep in! Awful, terrible, horrible experience!!

Every picture of this hotel is a lie. Our room was horrible: urine on the toilet seat, mold, dirt, broken bed, cockroaches, soiled chairs, refrigerator that would not get cold, elevator that is broken, doorway locked…people hanging out in other entrance smoking weed (with small children running around). Because we had traveled 9 hours, would thought it would be okay for one night. We got back from our conference around 11:30 pm the next night. There were drug deals going down in the parking lot. We were followed to our room but got into there safely. We started looking for another hotel. There was yelling and screaming up and down the hall. We heard banging and clanking. We realized that someone was trying to break into any room on our floor. We sat quietly as they tried our door, banging and inserting a fake keycard and yanking the doorhandle. Thank goodness they didn’t get in. We stayed awake the rest of the night unable to leave, due to the yelling, banging and dealing going on outside. We were on the second floor and would have had to walk through the middle of it. As soon as the sun came up, everyone left. And so did we!!! I booked through Expedia and they were awesome and understanding. They tried to get a full refund but HomeTowne Studios would only refund the one night we didn’t stay because as they stated, we “technically” stayed two nights. We had no choice. We could not go out into the chaos that was outside our second floor door.

The area around the hotel was so bad. I was afraid to get out of my car during the day. The facility was so rundown I felt icky walking into it. My room did not have any towels in it when I got there. I was so scared of the area that I never stayed the night, I just left.

I HATED EVERYTHING, the location was horrible, the require a deposit, the "hotel" is a just a front for a ghetto apartment complex, they are multiple families living there, every day during my stay i killed at least 3 roaches, i had my room burgled, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!

I love this place. if you want to cook, you will need to have everything required except the stove. there is a family dollar just across dublin granville rd to get utensils though. good prices on disposable or permanent stuff. decent grocery selection. the sheetz is great too. good food (snacks or meals) beer, smokes, coffee, etc. there is actually a ton of stuff in walking distance--subway, a couple chinese restaurants, vape shop, convenient store, mexican food, waffle house, mcdonalds, a bar i think... it is located at the last highway (i71) exit before the beltway (i270) that circles the city. so you will be on the very north end of town, but able to jump quickly onto the interstate.

The entire facility was being used as a low income housing project, with children and random people roaming the halls at all hours. There was no heat in my room, and with the front desk only being mznned from 11 - 7, i found it difficult to communicate with the staff.

The people working for the hotel kept telling me not to use the window when I was not using the window until I had left and handed things to my husband out of the window to load into the car. They kicked me out because they said I had a dog. Which I have all paperwork for so then they change their story and said it was because I refused the exterminator to come in and that he left a note on the door which was not there when I returned and my husband was there with his balls the entire day and no one had come to the door. Now they're saying they kick me out because I was using the window but they have no proof of me coming in or out of the window. My car was also hit while parked in the back lot. Which I filed a police report for but they still would not show me the cameras. I believe that it was one of their employees who sit in a white Nissan SUV that hit my car. Because the white Nissan had red marks from clearly hitting something on it and my car is red and has white marks on it. The hotel barely gets cleaned except for someone sweeping or mopping the hallway. In the three and a half weeks I stayed here not once did house keeping come to my room. Not once dead housekeeping knock on my door or offer towels rags bedding nothing on the amenities as part of my itinerary there should be breakfast in the mornings which never we're offered. Honestly the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Let's go over all the issues. *Upon arrival, the buildings alarm system was receiving errors from multiple rooms and was beeping constantly and loudly in the lobby during my entire stay. Who knows how long that has been going on. *The fire detector in my room was hanging off the wall by it's power lines and had a towel wrapped around it. Likely a previous guest was smoking in a non smoking room but can't confirm. *Screw holes by and on the door where there obviously was a door lock but it had been removed. *The guard around the shower faucet was missing all screws and was hanging off the wall where you could see into the wall behind the shower. *The wall around the shower was dirty, damaged, and had peeling paint. Looked to me like water damage. *Saw at least three different bugs scurrying around the room during my stay. One of which I think was some kind of roach *Not sure the floor had been deep cleaned recently as it had a greasy look to it. *The refrigerator had lots of surface rust all over the front of it and desperately needed paint. *The bed was the thinnest mattress I have ever seen on a very uncomfortable frame that honestly reminded me of sleeping on a cheap pull out mattress out of a couch I know you get what you pay for when you select a cheap hotel but honestly this place was so far below the bar that I would never recommend this to anyone under any circumstances.

I have never been to such a disgusting place in my Entire life. The pictures made the location look nice. The fact I had to change my room because there were bugs and it stank like cat piss and a dead corpse . And everything was broken in that one - I couldn’t even say the second one was better. When I got in there , there was already left over pee inside the toilet, the Seats looked broken , the fridge beat up , I didn’t even take a shower because I was afraid bugs were going to come out. I had to Wash myself with my Own products . I tried to Even turn down the air and Put the heater and WHEN I TELL YOU that was the worst idea ever. It stank so Bad to where I couldn’t go back To sleep and had to hurry and put the Air back on. I didn’t use the sheets honestly because I was afraid would Find Something , so I had to sleep with 2 hoodies. It’s the fact the hallways smelled insanely bad , a guy was supposed to Get off at the 4h Floor but he Followed me to my floor and was looking Down the hallway to see which door was mine. I will never recommend this place. Then there were 3 ambulance and 3 Cops for Something that happened. Like oh my Gosh.

The fact I had to change my room because there were bugs and it stank like cat piss and a dead corpse . And everything was broken in that one - I couldn’t even say the second one was better. When I got in there , there was already left over pee inside the toilet, the Seats looked broken , the fridge beat up , I didn’t even take a shower because I was afraid bugs were going to come out. I had to Wash myself with my Own products . I tried to Even turn down the air and Put the heater and WHEN I TELL YOU that was the worst idea ever. It stank so Bad to where I couldn’t go back To sleep and had to hurry and put the Air back on. I didn’t use the sheets honestly because I was afraid would Find Something , so I had to sleep with 2 hoodies. It’s the fact the hallways smelled insanely bad , a guy was supposed to Get off at the 4h Floor but he Followed me to my floor and was looking Down the hallway to see which door was mine. I will never recommend this place. Then there were 3 ambulance and 3 Cops for Something that happened. Like oh my Gosh.
