To start, excellent location, our room was backed up to the river, it was so relaxing to sit out back and listen to the water. There was a towel swan in the bathroom, and fancy linen and paper product origami in the bathroom. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the sheets were high end hotel quality, along with plenty of fluffy pillows. There soap dispensers in the shower and by the sink along with hotel guest products, they even had a specific makeup washcloth. This is an older lodge that has been remodeled. The room was very clean and spacious, it had everything you need for a basic room. Swimming pool and hot tub were centrally located, the continental breakfast was served in an upper level room that looked over the pool area. Also, onsite parking. We are very picky about where we stay when traveling, WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!

We booked the Double King room after another hotel failed to meet our expectations. Right off the bat the staff was wonderful. They called and informed us we could check in early. The room was fantastic. The entire site was very clean, maintained and family friendly. The kids loved the indoor pool and we loved the hot tub. Only thing i could say is do laundry intown. Their machine is very small but their dryer takes hours to dry. After two hours we had to just let the clothes air dry lol. Vent was clean, temp was on high. Just wasnt able to get them dried. I only list that because they ask for feedback. Thats not even a deal breaker though lol. They even called to tell us our gloves were left behind and offered to mail them back. The staff was phenomenal. Located perfectly, Rocky Mountain national park is just minutes away as is shoppong and dining. We cant wait to come back. Estes always ensures we feel at home.

First and foremost, staff was excellent. Very friendly and great communication. Explained late check in process and amenities. Very willing to help and assist with anything. Facilities, while nice and clean, were definitely in the dated side. A washer and dryer was a nice option. Though the detergent dispenser was not working properly which caused cascading issues. It dispensed dryer sheet vs detergent, which left me with dilemma to try dispenser again, but would leave me short on quarters. (Quarter machine broken and front desk closed) I had to drive to gas station make change. Was also able to get detergent out of the machine. Butto top it off dryer stopped working half way thru cycle and had to hang clothes around the room.. Moral of story... Always get more quarters just in case.

Check in was easy, front desk gal was friendly. Room was clean, beds were comfy. The hot tub was way too hot, but the pool was a nice temperature. Pool area was clean. The breakfast was a tad disappointing. Very generic options…oatmeal, toast, muffins and pre-packaged pastries. Not many options for those wanting something besides a carb overload. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for a very reasonable price.

We really loved the amenities on the property like the hot tub and heated indoor pool. The proximity to restaurants and shops in Estes Park was a bonus. The staff were very welcoming and answered any questions we had. Definitely will stay again when visiting the area.

Great, walkable location, but parking is a bit tight. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. The floors/carpets need a good cleaning. My feet were black about walking barefoot in the room for just a few minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay. Love the charm of Murphy's and love the size of the room. The kitchen was very well appointed. The bed was VERY comfortable. The room and bath were perfectly clean. Everyone I talked to in the office was so helpful and so nice. The location is excellent! I walked to the main street in about 12-13 minutes. The bathrooms could use a bit of updating. Also I would suggest thicker rugs to help with muffling the sound. We were in a 1rst floor room and could very clearly hear the people above us walking around. I think thicker rugs might help. I would definitely stay there again if we head to Estes. Really loved having the creek outside. Thank you!

The room was amazing! We loved the river view, the staff at the office were so nice and helpful and the room was spotless when we first got their. The jacuzzi was perfect for us! Thank u so much for the stay and we will be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay! The best part was the location - it was right along the river and just a few minutes walk to downtown. The room was nice and clean. The noise from other rooms/guests was pretty loud but thankfully the room had a box fan that helped to block out most of that. The hot tub was out of order the first night (and an indoor hot tub was a big factor in choosing to stay here) but they did have it ready for use the next day. It would've been nice to have a few more options at breakfast instead of all bread/carbs. But overall a great place and the staff/service was very nice!

Overall is good place to stay. Close downtown and RMNP enterance. We don’t use many thing in there but there are heated pool, game for family and the place to take a rest outside. Staff is very nice. But If you stay in a room on the side of the road, you will wake up to the sound of cars passing by in the morning. And Don't expect a breakfast like a hotel. They have boiled eggs, bread, yogurt, oatmeal, bananas, tangerines, coffee and juice, and just a few snacks to take with you on a hike.

The room wasn't bad but the bathroom was so small without exhaust fan. We asked for 1st floor as we knew there was no elevator but got stuck on second floor, not good with my bad hips and knees. It was nice sitting on the deck listening to the water rin in the creek.

Our room was in the first floor, it was so noisy, we could hear every single step from the people who stayed in the second floor, it was noisy and squeaky. No everyone wants to be up until 11:00pm or up at 6:00am it was horrible and annoying. So if you decide to spend your vacation in this property request a second floor room, building is old and needs renovations, bed are comfortable and room was clean, I would give more starts but all the steps, noise and squeaky noises from the second floor were VERY annoying

This hotel was very clean, had a full kitchen, cute deck next to the river and comfortable beds There were many personal touches to the room such as towels folded into swans or fans. The customer service was great with updates via text and calls. When we arrived you could tell it used to be a motel, but they maintain the property. The walls and ceiling were quite thin and we were woken up by the sounds of the guests walking around above us. The fireplace was not functional with wood or gas, only with a tin of flammable gel that provided no heat and little flame. The continental breakfast was very minimal with yogurt, beat up fruit, prepackaged Danishes and very sweet juice. We went out for breakfast, so that did not save us any money. Overall, expect a motel with great customer service.

We enjoyed our February stay at Murphy River Lodge! There was plenty of available parking and we were able to easily walk downtown for shops and dining. It is a short drive to the Rocky’s. The staff were very welcoming and offered coffee and popcorn in the lobby which was very nice. I would stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Murphys River Lodge! Seeing a huge elk with several cos and calves was the best! The animals stroll around the property as if they own it. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the indoor pool/hot tub. Easy walk to a busy part of town with dining and shopping. Great location for visiting RMNP.

This is an older hotel but it was clean and had all the comforts of home. They even provide a box fan, rags for spills and the back deck over looking the creek was very beautiful! Parking was tight but we managed to get a spot. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we left before 7. We would stay again. Bed was comfy, water was hot and the location was great!

First night room on the river. It was beautiful. Second night. Diff room. To bad but oh well. Bathrooms are small. Breakfast is barely anything, kinda disappointed in that. Would stay here again Walking distance to shops/Restraunts which was nice Front desk girls are very nice and sweet.

Super outdated and under maintained. A/C was a broken window unit. It’s essentially a higher priced motel. Bed and towels were clean and staff was nice.
