Castaic Inn Six Flags Valencia

Rooms were nice overall. Good value for the price. Clean, comfortable bed. Table and chairs for use. Flooring had gaps that were not nice to walk on. Good shower with good water pressure, and hot water. Bathroom fan was very noisy. Pool and hot tub drained and closed. Does not look like it will be repaired/returned to service. Good parking available near rooms. Friendly desk staff. Many restaurants within 1 mi walking distance.

Property is extremely convenient off I5 and has economy pricing. The parking lot is somewhat difficult to navigate.

The good: the price was definitely right and the guy behind the desk was very nice. The bad: the A/C and all the plumbing was loud as can be, and the walls were paper thin. There was just an ill-fitting door b/n the rooms and we could hear the Indian couple next door loud and clear as they chatted late into the night, played loud Indian movies w/ those high-pitched girl singers, and made love. The ugly; What passes for a pool 7 jacuzzi was filthy, w/o water, and covered up.

I wish i could post the pics I took of the room. The bed was horrible and worn on bad, one side was sunken in, mold in the AC unit, everything was crusty. I had to clean the remote for the TV because it was sticky. The bedding and towels were all stained leaving me guessing if they were even clean. And i mean EVERY piece of linen was nasty. There was garbage left in one of the trash cans. The site advertised a pool, but that was a half-truth. The pool was small, closed and full of trash. That was my view from my room. The ONLY good thing about this hotel was the location and the fact that we were able to check in agter 11pm.

The staff is incredibly polite, kind, accommodating, and personable. I wish that were enough to be able to recommend this motel, but unfortunately I just can’t. It is, by far, the dirtiest and most run-down motel I’ve ever stayed at. The pool looks like it probably hadn’t been functional in years, but hasn’t been closed or cleaned up. The parking is SUPER tight. I could overlook apl of that, but the room was very dirty. My daughter’s socks were black after 15 minute walking around. The flooring is peeling, which I could also deal with if they weren’t so dirty. They don’t look dirty b/c of the pattern, so I wonder if the cleaners just don’t clean it at all? I’m not a clean/germ freak, but I wouldn’t let my kids walk around barefoot at all. I took a dry towel and wiped up the 10 square feet near the sink, and wiped up a ton of hair and dirt. The curtains had slashes, burns, and lots of unidentified dried liquids. Now, it is the cheapest option in an expensive area, so if it’s your only option, I would recommend bringing a mop and disinfectant. The sheets at least did seem like they had been washed.

It's nothing special; it's an off-the-freeway motel/hotel. Parking is minimal and tight, and security monitors how close you are to the line. The pool and spa were drained, with trash and mud at the bottom, and the continental breakfast was falsely advertised.

So many little things not functioning properly or working at all. TV continusly lost signal. Shower pressure was intermittent and when it was low water was cold. Tub wasn't functional. Pool and Jacuzzi not working. Flooring was coming apart in several areas. The bed was really comfortable and the AC works well.

This place is so unsafe and a very unsanitary there was lots of hairs all over be bed sheets and pillows stained sheets and to top it off spiders crawling on the bed I have a sibling that is highly allergic, they were kind enough to change our room but the thought of seeing a spider crawling on the bed I was going to sleep on didn’t make me feel safe of clean the room had a bad odor as well i would have really wished I got my money back for all the inconvenience i literally had to go get another hotel to feel clean and safe a sleep with out the thought of spiders or any type of bugs if I wanted to sleep with spiders I would have slept outside. So unsanitary and unsafe.

When i got to my room 117 there was a dead rat so disgusting, the room was so dirty, do not stay in this hotel, even the lobby had a weired smell, this hotel is so dirty, disgusting!!

Hair in the bed, stained sheets and dirty bathroom ugly property does the trick tho i guess

No coffee, towels were dingy brown not white looked old and floor board were coming up and black out curtains had big blotchy spots old and dirty overall needs a lot of work will need stay again

The room was not clean, drapes in horrible condition floors cracked and peeling, overall would never stay there again.

This place was very good except we got a room with a broken fridge large amount of hair was in the drain and there were a ton of ants in both rooms n they were fire ants not regular ants this place needs to redo there floors and get some better mattress protectors beacuse they wouldnt stay in place we had also a issue with rebooking our room due to them booking our room while we were still in the room which made no sense when we were planing on staying a week and were only able to stay 3 days of our week stay soo definitely book your room for the whole week if that is the plan and dont believe any pics about them having a continental breakfast they dont they only have coffee and tea and no comforters on the bed sooo bring your own as well

When we walked in from being out all day we saw a cockroach the floor, the next day we also saw a roach but this time it was on the bed !! It was disgusting. The room was dirty , there was cobwebs on the corners . Dirty floors and sink . The TV didn’t work . The pictures they post online are so deceiving. I will never go back .

Pretty clean with good hot water, water pressure, and essentials other than hand lotion. Rooms desperately need floors replaced (we had to wear shoes at all times as the vinyl floor was peeling up and creating a hazard (sharp pointy ends everywhere). Pillows need replacing as do curtains and don't even get started on lighting. Bed was excellent, much better than your average Hampton Inn or similar class motel/hotel and better than some much more expensive places. We would stay here again because overall it is OK for a more or less budget motel but would make sure to check out the room before accepting it.

New owners are not as friendly although Mike at check out was cool. TV didn't work well. Hardwood floor was peeling up all over the place and had a lot of sharp edges.

1 wash cloth for 2 people, 1 hand towel for 2 people was not enough. The bed closest to the bathroom was uncomfortable.

Our room had multiple outlets and lights not working and also had issues with out television as well

The staff were nice. The room decent except the water didn't get hot for the shower and the lessons tub was clogged. They offered another room but we were preparing to leave and didn't want to pack up twice.. The people next door decided to have a conversation outside the door at 7am. And wouldn't go insane when politely asked. "Karen" attitude!

Mainly, the flooring and walls need attention. The lighting fixtures are loose and probably old. Some attention to detail would be beneficial.

Check in was a breeze. Room is spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The room is very dated but it has a microwave and fridge. For the price and location it fit our last minute needs.

Desk clerk was very helpful. Tv didn't work and he came and fixed it. The floor in the room was in very bad condition- plank floor coming apart at the seams, tripping hazard.

Staff is very friendly and property is great if you need somewhere that is cost effective.

One if iur rooms the toilet broke, but was fixed quickly, they supiled extra pillows very fast when requested. Bed was a little hard. All staff very friendly and helpful.

There\'s a silent $15 per day charge after checkout not mentioned at the time of booking. It was not told to me at checkout either. It shows up on the credit card as "classic motel" separate from the charge for "Castaic suite inn". This is shady behavior.

I didn’t like how it never showed that there was a 100 dollar deposit required and then I never received it back, it was overall a very sketchy and grimy place, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

The TV did not respond to the remote. The desk clerk brought a different remote the buttons were messed up. Towels were thin and bed was lumpy. The desk clerk tried to help but it was an old hotel

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that the Property is “Under New Management” – the Former Owners have left… I did not receive the same service, that I had been accustomed to, over the last 7 years… I’m considering “other options”, as a result!

One of the worst five hotels I've stayed in my whole life of 73 years. In a crummy part of town, next to several truck stops and directly next to the freeway. Lots of sketchy people in the parking lot, I did not feel safe going from the car to my room. Room was moderately clean but very dated, water was barely warm, toilet ran continuously, initially had no remote for the TV and the front desk guy had to go into a vacant room to find me a remote. Very noisy at night, sounded like drag races were occurring out front. We are usually not very particular, and just wants a clean decent accommodation. My recommendation would be to avoid this place at all costs.

There was so much construction going on that I could not take a nap. There was also a lot of homeless people and they do not mention that it's next to the freeway so it is loud!

Convenient to the freeway and a short drive to Magic Mountain. Not a lot of food options nearby (or at least that we found). Would stay again.

Everybody was very helpful and I recommend this property to any one looking for an economical motel.

The room was quite sizeable and clean; internet was reliable; customer service was good. The floor boards in the room were uneven and one could easily trip on them. The inn is near the freeway and a truck stop, so it is very noisy.

Hotel is fine for a one night stay. The room was clean, bed was ok, lots of truck noise (Castaic is a tuck stop town after all), but really can't complain about anything. No frills at a good price.

Coffee was decent. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean.

Upon arrival check-in was good until we asked if the pool was open after a long drive and during summer was looking forward to it and we were told that it wasn't its closed for maintenance we walked by the pool looks like its just been abandoned water was drained and dirty no intentions on reopening the pool anytime soon.There are only to 2 pillows per bed I couldn't even call the front desk thier phone was cut off so I had to walk down to the front office to ask for an extra pillow and was told they would bring up and never did but they couldn't make that accommodation. The refrigerator was off no coffee maker never seen that before. The next morning I went to ask if they had breakfast but was told they stop serving breakfast since covid Overall I would never book here again for $120 a night !

It is conveniently located right off I-5. My average rating is that there is no coffee maker in the room and the juice machine was broken.

From the ridiculously noisy area, to the run down poorly kept property. There was no breakfast in the mornings. The coffee was horrible and the juice machine was broken. Rooms were plain and the smoke detector was missing. And the DANG REMOTE DIDNT WORK WOTH THE TV! And the pillows were the worst. Overall it was a sad experience. I’d rather sleep in my truck.

Looking at the pictures from the website - all looks good. When you arrive you realize the motel is at the top of the exit ramp from a major highway. Trucks breaking and accelerating all day. There is a pool - but under construction. Breakfast? just coffee. TV - not working, AC - barely working. Dirt everywhere. Awful place. They also demanded $50 CASH deposit. Stay away from that dump.

It was a busy location due to the holiday.... but very organized and evenings were calm.... Coffee in the lobby in the morning is good!
