Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis/South I-55

The staff at the hotel was very friendly but the room is poorly laid out with the mircowave oven in a darkened corner about 2 feet off the floor. There was an office type chair next to a desk that was not suitable for reading or watching tv. There was no daily maid service. We had to remove our own trash and change our towels at the front desk. Breakfast person was very nice, but the overall quality of the food was average. Coffee bar on the first floor for early risers like me and computer room for boarding passes and viewing emails and newspapers were positive amenities.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and they even had a security guard blocking the road at night to make sure that you were a guest at the hotel.

We had a very nice stay! The hotel is very clean, had cookies every night! The breakfast was pretty standard, not bad. The hand sprayer in the shower needs attention. Toilet paper could be a better brand. One elevator was out the whole week and another person staying there said it’s an ongoing issue, he’s been there before and it was broken, fixed for a day, then broken again. The TV stations were really good, as was the large screen. Staff was very friendly and we’ll definitely consider staying here again!

Got in late and there was a “make-shift” pvc barrier with stop signs on it with a woman with a clipboard. We stopped and rolled down the window and SHE JUST WALKED RIGHT PAST US to the back of the truck. Got our tag then came up to the window and asked which hotel we’re staying. I said “Who are you!”? She got mad and said “I’m hotel SECURITY!” I replied “Ok, next time ID yourself for my safety and yours!”. As I drove off she said something with real attitude because of how she was shaking her head. Bad intro. But check in was awesome and room was great.

Free breakfast good for all of us and a great savings. The indoor pool was big and fun especially this time of year. The staff are super friendly and helpful, very clean. We love Hamptons.

Neighbor was banging around all night. Sounded like they were fighting. Another guest knocked on their door and told them to shut up. Banging went on til finally they passed out. Shower pressure was terrible. Bed was fine and clean. Elevator broken. Only elevator open smelled like weed.

The property was undergoing some renovation which was explained prior to registering. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Heated pool is wonderful. The room is very lovely and comfortable. Wish there was a hot tub.

It was good for the night but didn’t have a hot tub like it showed in the picture or if it had one we didn’t get told about it got told about the pool

Needed a hotel for an overnight. This was a great hotel. Very friendly staff and very clean. Good hot breakfast served. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Been staying here for years and I hate that they are definitely going down hill Poor upkeep and no daily cleaning Probably won’t stay again

Floors could have been cleaner in the room. But overall, very clean and professional staff.

It’s was very clean except for the bathroom. The tub and around the toilet had body hair in and around it. Could have been cleaned better

Our room was cleaned by Tiff and it was in perfect condition. Pool area was clean as well as the lobby and dining area. You can tell the staff cares. Everyone was very hospitable at breakfast. I also love that you can tip the support staff through the qr code. Would highly reccomend

Clean room, good breakfast. Nice, safe area. But the staff was the best I have encountered in a long time. From check in, check out to the breakfast staff. I cannot say enough. We stayed 12/6/25 - one night and I would come back in a heartbeat.

Nice and clean hotel

We loved this hotel, other than the rather limited water pressure in the shower. That part could use some improvement. But the hotel itself was clean and the bed very comfortable! I would stay at it again, and I’m just glad I don’t have really thick hair to try to rinse in the shower.

The room we had was great. However, the mattress left a lot to be desired - not so comfy.

The evening and morning staff were wonderful with kindness, engaging, and knowledge. The pool was lacking towels, but we were there at 8:00 pm, however, the towels are too small (hand towel size) to adequately dry off. The double bed room was stuffy in that the was not room to move around and the fridge was inaccessible to everyone in the room as it was over by the side of one bed and the door could not be opened with room to walk. One had to be on the bed to put items inside. On the flip side, the room was tidy and clean. Thank you cleaning staff.

Spacious, clean, quiet room on 4th floor, back side of property. Comfortable, firm bed. Good AC control. Blackout shades. Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were all courteous and professional. Good coffee and breakfast. Not close to downtown, but plenty of restaurants, groceries, etc. a short drive away. Would def stay again.

Breakfast was gross, turkey sausages were grey in color, biscuit and gravy had no taste at all. Biscuits tasted like plain flour. Ended up going out and picking up breakfast myself. Unless you get a room in the 4th floor dont plan on getting much rest. My rm was on the 3rd and i highly dont recommend it.

The room was very nice and seemed pretty updated. Bathroom was huge for a hotel bathroom. The shower was underwhelming and the beds weren't the most comfortable. Overall it was pretty nice and i would stay here again if im in the area.

Staff was very nice. Everything was clean, comfortable, and updated. There was enough parking. The AC wasn't too loud. Breakfast was tasty. I can't ask for more. Only "annoyances" were 1) the Guide button didn't work on the TV and there was no Netflix app on the TV. 2) The water pressure wasn't very good.

The room was just perfect, clean, I could hear the neighboring rooms a little though. Best value out of the mid-to-hi end hotels. Breakfast was great and service was discreet and polite and professional

The best hotel staff I’ve ever encountered.

The receptionist worked extra hard to get our rooms ready by 3 and to get my party adjoining rooms! Good breakfast.

Upon check in at 4am which I understand is not check in time there was a hiccup. On hotels.com I booked check-in Monday check out Tuesday and paid online almost two hundred dollars and change. During check in the lady pointed out that I booked an accesible room and did I want. No, I said but the app didn’t show me another room with two beds. I wouldn’t want to take an accesible room away from somebody who might need it. So, she said she could switch it no problem or changes. I go to sign the papers and it had me checking out same day, but that’s not what my itinerary on the app and in my email stated almost two hundred dollars paid for check out Tuesday. She would not honor my booking with hotels.com the way it was booked. She wouldn’t let me pay to check in early because it was 4 am Monday and I was exhausted and also had my dog which was almost a hundred per night. I had to pay almost four hundred because they count 4am as Sunday. Whats crazy is the system only charged me one night dog fee, so it recognized my dog was there for 1 night but not me. I paid for insurance on hotels.com and contacted them and they contacted the hotel. I got refunded the original amountfrom the website. There’s that, but I stayed in another hotel recently that let me check in around midnight for just an extra 20 added to my total. Charging a whole extra night for checking in 7 hours early (I was told at 11 it turns into the next day) seems a bit much. A lesson learned if I ever stay here again.

The staff at the hotel was absolutely AMAZING! The milk and cookies at night was a lovely touch, the breakfast was plentiful and we loved that there was lemon water and coffee/tea available at all times! We had a fabulous stay!

Awesome hotel! Natalie at the front desk was so in incredibly helpful -- She helped us get a crib (Pack N' Play) set up in our hotel room for our newborn, arranged for us to have adjoining hotel rooms for our large family, and allowed us to have a late checkout (1pm). Angie who worked the free breakfast was also great and she made sure that we havr plenty of food.

We’ve stayed here several times while visiting family in town. Never disappointed. Great staff, always clean and quiet hotel. Easy check in and check out.

This hotel was extremely clean. The only issue we had was a dog was barking in another room when we were preparing for sleep. However, the front desk apologized and immediately moved us to another room.

The staff was so helpful. We came for a funeral. Our room was not, ready, we needed to check in early. I was in consent contact with your staff about early check in, we needed to change clothes before going to the funeral. I was told they would do everything to accommodate us. The rooms were being cleaned when we arrived, but we would be late if we waited to change, so your staff allowed use to change in a vacant conference room, it was 5 of us. They check to see how long it would take us to get to the funeral. The staff was just so caring and sincere. We made it on time to share this difficult time with our family. Blessings to your staff. Clean, quiet and convenient.

There was road construction on the road to the entrance which made it difficult to access and leave the hotel. The hotel itself was amazing. The staff and food was great. The warm cookies and milk at night hit the spot! Would definitely stay here again!!

Very easy to find from I-55; it's close to a major exit. Breakfast had many options. The coffee was always piping hot. Staff greeted us every time we entered or left the building.

Very clean - wonderful customer service. Right next to Washington university hospital. If you need to make a vist . 20 minutes to the zoo and Botanical Gardens

Our recent stay on the way to Branson was great. We haven’t stayed at a Hampton for a while, but we’ll be staying at more of them in the future. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was tasty. Everyone was very friendly. We were impressed with the great job Christy did keeping the breakfast buffet supplied right up to 10:00.

Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. So many options. Haven't stayed at a ton of hotels but enough to highly recommend.

This is my go to anytime I’m in St. Louis. The staff is super nice. The breakfast is good. The hotel is very clean. I won’t stay anywhere else
