Plenty of parking. EV charging (temperamental but we got it working) Easy auto check-in. Rooms clean but smelled strongly of smoke. Shared bathroom facilities clean and tidy. BUT Not the rooms I booked and paid for. Booked 2 tandem rooms - messaged twice to ensure twin = 2 beds in each room as picture showed. Checked in to find 2 doubles. Not appropriate for our travelling group meaning sleeping on the floor for some. No staff on after 9pm and no additional rooms available to book. Rooms also noisy, not soundproofed, and no a/c or fan provided. Dogs barking through the night and residents arriving/leaving at all hours. Final straw, cleaning staff knocked once and entered the room at 8am, waking us!

I stayed in reims the night before staying hete at a budged ibis hotel and it was far far superior to the f1 in Coquelles calais. The f1 hotel in Coquelles is in need of some updating,it serves a purpose and thats about it,I arrived 2 hours after check in time to find my room was still in an unmade condition. Even after I was allowed in ,the floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was dust and bits everywhere. I slept OK,the breakfast was a disappointment too,nothing special to write home about,this after all a cheap place to doss down if thats all your after,but it could be better,a lot better than it was. The local area has shops and a few restaurants, supermarkets etc,I'm always disappointed the further you are away from Central France and nearer to Paris,its always been the same I think the northern French are just that way inclined.
