We loved every bit of our stay. There was so much attention to detail, to ensure our comfort, and lots of little touches to make us feel a little special. The pool and beach had ample seating, the beach was clean. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and we cannot wait to return.

The hotel is has a slightly colonial feel to it. Conveniently sited for the airport which is a 15-20 minute drive. The hotel overlooks a stunning bay and beach and is very private. The food was all very good in all the restaurants and the staff were efficient and friendly. The pool is large and there were generally enough sunbeds although the last few days of our stay over Easter the hotel was noticeably busier and getting a sunbed was a bit of a challenge. The bedroom was spacious and well maintained and a small problem with the shower was quickly resolved.

Beautiful colonial style building with centre courtyard gardens and an amazing 50m infinity pool. Dining options however are limited which is a pity given the hotel is somewhat isolated and you will need to travel at least 20mins to get to a town with other restaurant/street market possibilities. Staff were very helpfull. Not enough sun-loungers around the pool which leads to the usual dawn grab by people. The hotel should actively discourage 'booking' of loungers to make it more equitable for all.

We used a lot of the facilities here and all of them were excellent. We were picked up from the airport in a spacious clean car by a really friendly team, guest relations, especially Fafa were kind, patient and so helpful with any questions or requests. Our nearly 4 year old son tried out the kids club which was his first time ever going to one. He enjoyed it and we felt very comfortable leaving him in the care of the lovely women in there. The food in the restaurants we tried was good and the breakfast buffet was very good quality with a la carte options as well. Our room was beautiful and one of the best parts of our stay, they are spacious, really well thought out and the bed was so comfy. My only regret is we only booked 4 nights, would recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay at The Danna was a short 4 day leg of our honeymoon. My only regret is we did not stay longer. We chose it for the quiet location, room and private beach. The facilities are top notch and the service is exemplary. Our room (Viceroy Sea View) was well equipped with all modern amenities, a fairly deep and large bathtub and a great view of the Andaman sea. The resort offers a host of water activities at a reasonable price. The spa similarly has a variety of treatments at fair prices. The gym next to the sauna is adequately equipped for some holiday based cardio and resistance training. There are a few restaurants onsite which offer great food but can be quite dear. It’s easy enough to get a Grab to Pantai Cenang for more varied and affordable options. I cannot highlight the service enough which is first class and is what makes Danna a true 5* hotel.

A stunning setting, The Danna really is a place of luxury. You wake up in the most comfortable bed, walk onto your balcony to look across the harbour for a morning view. The shower is powerful with Jo Malone products for use. A plentiful breakfast which is varied, fresh and delicious. So many options, the head chef also present to check guests are happy and catered for. The pool and beach are both clean and maintained to a high standard. Each day the pool is brushed clean. It was great to see various birds flying overhead or in the distance, and be uninterrupted on the private beach. The staff are pleasant, responsive and accommodating, without at all being intrusive. During storms or rain-showers, staff came to each person with an umbrella, whilst others were cleaning up water at entrances and ensuring everyone was safe. All in all, a refreshing and relaxed experience. I’d love to be able to stay again ❤️

Langkawi is a small island, so renting a car is a must to explore—but honestly, we were so glad we chose to stay at The Danna! Our suite was absolutely perfect—beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We loved both the pool and the private beach—warm, relaxing, and the white sand was just stunning. The entire resort is immaculately kept, and the service is truly next level. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. There’s even a lovely library on site, which was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel decor and grounds is stunning and the breakfast was very good. The first room we were in smelled moldy but staff were very helpful and got us into another room. Very courteous staff. Unfortunately a lot of restaurants close by closed due to the pandemic but hopefully with time will come back. Beach and pool area is beautiful.

We had a fantastic time, amazing breakfast and service, the place starts to look a bit old and might need an update. The restaurant had a good choice but the food was not as good as experienced around the country. The staff was so good and helpful.

The property is beautiful, quiet and well maintained. Its away from the busy beaches of Langkawi with its own private beach. We found it relaxing, tranquil and most of all stunning. What we found impressive was the attentiveness of the staff, in particular Zulkeffly who served us during our meals everyday. He even took the effort to make reservations at another restaurant for us. Will definitely come back.

Absolutely fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach and the lovely pool area. All the staff were lovely & friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor looking over the pool & beach, the views are stunning. Our room was huge, the bathroom had the best bath/shower area I’ve ever seen with views over the bay ! We tried the 3 different restaurants and all were good. All positive except one: there was a cigar smoking room next to the main bar which made the area smell of smoke, so unpleasant we couldn’t use this area in the evening. Also quite a few people were smoking in area where the restaurant was, again not pleasant. I would suggest that the manager control the smoking better. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay.

The music in the hallways are too loud. We had to request for it to be turned down twice - once outside our room and the other outside the business center. While ambience is important it should not invade rooms. However, housekeeping responded immediately each time in keeping with their overall excellence in response to guest needs.

We booked Grand Room Seaview which had a jacuzzi at the balcony. The room was very spacious, clean , and we enjoyed the wonderful view from the jacuzzi and bedroom. We also enjoyed the 90 minutes couple massage with flower bath.The food and service was also great. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Danna !
We booked Grand Room Seaview which had a jacuzzi at the balcony. The room was very spacious, clean , and we enjoyed the wonderful view from the jacuzzi and bedroom. We also enjoyed the 90 minutes couple massage with flower bath.The food and service was also great. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Danna !

We used a lot of the facilities here and all of them were excellent. We were picked up from the airport in a spacious clean car by a really friendly team, guest relations, especially Fafa were kind, patient and so helpful with any questions or requests. Our nearly 4 year old son tried out the kids club which was his first time ever going to one. He enjoyed it and we felt very comfortable leaving him in the care of the lovely women in there. The food in the restaurants we tried was good and the breakfast buffet was very good quality with a la carte options as well. Our room was beautiful and one of the best parts of our stay, they are spacious, really well thought out and the bed was so comfy. My only regret is we only booked 4 nights, would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at the Danna for two nights. Overall we had a pleasant stay, we particularly liked the spacious room and the incredible view as well as the pool area and kids club. Unfortunately the restaurant’s lunch service was a constant let down with 45min long waiting times. For dinner we only tried the buffet restaurant as we could not afford to wait again to be served with two young children but overall the food was tasty. We are also grateful to Chef for his efforts to rectify the situation when provided with feedback. Overall, we found dining options especially at lunch limited and quite pricey.

The music in the hallways are too loud. We had to request for it to be turned down twice - once outside our room and the other outside the business center. While ambience is important it should not invade rooms. However, housekeeping responded immediately each time in keeping with their overall excellence in response to guest needs.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful pool are and nice beach. The rooms are well-equipped and super clean. The Italian restaurant offers very good food options. We had a a nice spa experience with very well-trained therapists who were also friendly and kind to my daughter. However, from time to time, the service needs improvement. Orders we placed were too often forgotten throughout the stay. The hotel can be recommended, especially when traveling with children.

The property is beautiful, quiet and well maintained. Its away from the busy beaches of Langkawi with its own private beach. We found it relaxing, tranquil and most of all stunning. What we found impressive was the attentiveness of the staff, in particular Zulkeffly who served us during our meals everyday. He even took the effort to make reservations at another restaurant for us. Will definitely come back.

Great hotel, People and service excellent. Only criticism is that its away from hustle and bustle. 25 minutes to Chenang Beach etc. However, Grab is cheap so wasn't an issue. Definitely recommend.

Langkawi is a small island, so renting a car is a must to explore—but honestly, we were so glad we chose to stay at The Danna! Our suite was absolutely perfect—beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We loved both the pool and the private beach—warm, relaxing, and the white sand was just stunning. The entire resort is immaculately kept, and the service is truly next level. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. There’s even a lovely library on site, which was such a pleasant surprise! The location is great too—just a short drive from the famous Langkawi Cable Car. From the food and drinks to the thoughtful amenities and outstanding hospitality, everything at The Danna is top-notch. Our family was genuinely so happy with our choice—we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is has a slightly colonial feel to it. Conveniently sited for the airport which is a 15-20 minute drive. The hotel overlooks a stunning bay and beach and is very private. The food was all very good in all the restaurants and the staff were efficient and friendly. The pool is large and there were generally enough sunbeds although the last few days of our stay over Easter the hotel was noticeably busier and getting a sunbed was a bit of a challenge. The bedroom was spacious and well maintained and a small problem with the shower was quickly resolved.

Beautiful beach and generous pool area. Enough loungers to accommodate everyone. Nice little harbor area on one side of the hotel. Relaxing atmosphere. Excellent buffet breakfast where you can also order ala carte if you wish. Great selection of foods and the dinner option is affordable and worthy. We had dinner twice at the resort over 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Check in was also outstanding and everything was explained and shown to us upon arrival. They bend over backwards to assist you with anything like directions, activities, general knowledge of the area. The competition on the island cannot compare to the excellent service and attention we received. Danna is a stunning hotel overlooking the sea & the biggest swimming pool I’ve seen in a hotel. The staff are stupendous , always smiling & helpful with anything you need. There are no shops or restaurants nearby so we always dined at the hotel. Overall a brilliant stay.

We arecompletely amazed by this luxury hotel. From the staff to the facilities, everything is simply flawless. The team truly goes out of their way to assist you and even remembers your name. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary massages and refreshing towels, a lovely touch! The check-in process was smooth and personalized, with no waiting in line. Initially, we had booked the Merchant room with stunning Marina views, which was beautiful, but we were offered an upgrade to the Viceroy room with a sea view. We qualified for a complimentary upgrade, but for some reason, there was a charge, which was fine, and we don’t regret it at all. The room was exceptional, featuring a four-poster bed and ample space. The bathroom was impressive with his and hers sinks. Each room comes equipped with a Nespresso machine, which is fantastic. My only minor concern is that the mugs are quite large and don't fit properly under the machine, causing them to tilt. Unfortunately, when I left the machine unattended, the mug fell and broke. It might be wise to consider providing appropriately sized mugs to prevent any accidents. The swimming pool was wonderful, offering plenty of areas to relax and unwind. Breakfast at the Planters was incredible! You can choose between à la carte and a beautifully arranged buffet. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! There are numerous dining options available as well. We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is a beautiful building and well cared for and our room was huge!! The dining options were great - something for every taste, and we really loved the option to be able to have anything for room service. The bar was also really lovely and had an excellent happy hour. We will definitely be returning in the future!

一年ぶりの訪問です。スタッフのフレンドリーな笑顔に迎えて頂き、静かな海を眺めながらインフィニティプールでのんびりとした時間を過ごすことができました。朝食では冷えたスパークリングワインをいただきながら、テラスでのんびりといろいろなお料理を楽しみ、大満足です。また、アフターヌーンティーのスコーンが特においしかったです。ランカウイで最高の休日を過ごせました。また来年もお邪魔したいと思います。

We had a fantastic time, amazing breakfast and service, the place starts to look a bit old and might need an update. The restaurant had a good choice but the food was not as good as experienced around the country. The staff was so good and helpful.

Our stay at The Danna was a short 4 day leg of our honeymoon. My only regret is we did not stay longer. We chose it for the quiet location, room and private beach. The facilities are top notch and the service is exemplary. Our room (Viceroy Sea View) was well equipped with all modern amenities, a fairly deep and large bathtub and a great view of the Andaman sea. The resort offers a host of water activities at a reasonable price. The spa similarly has a variety of treatments at fair prices. The gym next to the sauna is adequately equipped for some holiday based cardio and resistance training. There are a few restaurants onsite which offer great food but can be quite dear. It’s easy enough to get a Grab to Pantai Cenang for more varied and affordable options. I cannot highlight the service enough which is first class and is what makes Danna a true 5* hotel.

Gymmet har det dom behövs och är rent, SPAt är bra. Restaurangerna håller varierad kvalitet och kan bara rekommendera den italienska, den andra håller inte måttet.

What an incredible experience. The staff, the resort, the hospitality, the food all just WOW. Never come across such lovely staff and honestly they made the stay all that much better. The attention to detail is just spectacular and I’m already dreaming of returning to the Danna. Super close to the airport and to some popular attractions! Also such a convenient location.
