Mountain Meadows Lodge

The meadow leading to the pond was beautiful along with the Adirondack chair on the dock facing the pond and mountains beyond. Great outdoor spaces and a spacious meeting area. Great staff. A real gem.

The Lodge is so relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are quant and the common areas are cozy. There’s indoor and outdoor tables and chairs and two Adirondack chairs on the dock, which were perfect for reading with a cup of tea. Highly recommend. Hope to make this an annual trip!

Very cute little hotel. 24 hour on-site staff. Cassie and Brooke are awesome (especially Brooke!!). Friendly staff, clean facilities, hot tub and sauna were great, and pool table, foosball, and dart boards. Room was very cozy and clean. We will be coming back!! 5 mins to Killington. Great breakfast. I’m sure the pond is great in the summer too. 5 star experience!

Our late check in with our key card left at the front desk didn’t work for our room at 11pm, but the innkeeper awoke using the phone to help let us in. The toilet wasn’t clean, upon check in, but the bedding was clean and very comfortable. There were lots of free amenities like cookies and hot cocoa, coffee and filtered water. The cooked breakfast eve try morning was delicious and plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and sauna twice during our weekend stay. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast, both were good. Loved the fire pit outside and hot tub! The room was comfortable, however, the toilet smelled something bad, it seems like the toilet plumbing problem?? Also we expected mountain view as it’s advertised but we had parking lots and container’s view. We should have pick pond view. Over all, we enjoyed our time there.

Everything was clean. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was much better than I anticipated. Hot tub and sauna were awesome. Cool little game room. They have telescopes , you can go stargazing with. We had s'mores kits ready to go for you. Very cool place.

Everything was wonderful! We were just bummed the fireplace and outside fire pit were not in working order.

Beautiful views from the front porch/deck and the inside sitting area. Very rustic with the pond waterfront out to the mountains.

Great hot tub and sauna. Small establishment with amazing service from Brooke. Romantic, perfect for couples but also has games like darts, billiards, and foosball so could entertain all ages. Plenty of couches to relax upon!

We stayed 4 nights in early March. Unfortunately we were not aware that the restaurant and bar were not open Mon-Thursday- so it meant we had limited use of the lovely lounge and dining area. There are plenty of restaurants around, but kind of a bummer to only find this out on arrival. Front desk staff were great (5 star) and always very helpful in providing suggestions of where to eat and where to go. There was no room cleaning during our stay - which was okay, but normally garbage is removed from the rooms in this situation. The breakfast was included and very good and plentiful - however the dining area did not appear to be cleaned between days and the placemats and floor were dirty by the time we left. I feel this may be just our particular experience with the staff who worked the dining area on the days we were there and not indicative of the place overall...

This was a beautiful, rustic Inn. So clean and quiet. Room was beautiful as well.

The hotel and the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. The lodge is newly built and has been open for about 4 years now. It was clean, affordable, and in a very convenient location overlooking a quaint lake. I will absolutely be back and looking forward to it already.

Great views great hiking and a beautiful area. Was very clean and well maintained.

Room attractive and clean. Facility is beautiful and staff wonderful. Lots of common area to relax. We will definitely return. Loved it. Good breakfast too. Small bathroom would benefit with a few hooks and towel bar. People would use less towels if they had a place to dry properly. Also, warped wardrobe doors need replaced/repaired. Takes away from beauty room. A mirror would also be great.

Our experience at Mountain Meadow was exceptional. The owners went above and beyond to take care of us. Our room was sparkling clean as was the rest of the premises. It has undergone recent upgrades and remodelling. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. The remoteness of the location is restorative, quiet and peaceful. The restaurant was not in service while we were there so no comment on that. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very well appointed . Everything was newly remolded. Rooms were very comfortable. This is a nice mix of hotel with a bed and breakfast feel. The inn keeper was welcoming and kind. Loved our stay !!

We just stayed at the Mountain Meadows Lodge on Thursday Feb 8th-9th. Upon arriving, the parking lot was empty we were worried it was closed or we were in the wrong spot. We were greeted by the friendly desk agent who checked us in. When we asked about the restaurant she said there would be no food tonight and she wasn’t sure about the bar. Even though the hours you advertise are Thurs-Saturday and one of the reasons we chose the lodge as the menu and craft drinks were appealing to us. Also really disappointing as we had made plans for nearby friends to come visit us at the lodge for food and drinks, we had to cancel and scramble to find a new spot. We were then given our keys for our “Lake View” room that we purposefully paid more for, for that amenity. Get to the room, no lake view. I suppose if you went on the balcony and looked over the banister and past the privacy wall you could maybe see a sliver of the pond, but we couldn’t even go on the balcony as it was knee high in snow and clearly not prepped for guest arrival. And a broken closet door. My husband went down to the desk in hopes of changing to a lake view room, where he was met with an aloof answer of “not really”. We were also offered a shovel if we wanted to shovel the balcony ourselves. Luckily a kind young man ended up bringing the shovel and offered to clear it. Great space! Very clean and affordable compared to some of the options closer to the mountain. Felt very updated and modern. The breakfast is very convenient as well. My only complaint would be the noise at times, it sounded like the people in the room next to me were in the room with me when they were talking.

Very deceiving when pulling up. Wasn’t sure I was at the right place. Once we looked around, very nice. Room was awesome with working fireplace , large comfortable room. Nice barn door on large bathroom. Great place. Wish it had a restaurant with full breakfast and dinner.

This lodge is extremely welcoming. Beautiful views, excellent staff. Very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back. Joseph is an excellent host, chef and manager.

Manager went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay and encouraged us to come back and stay again.

If you go to Vermont don’t expect to feel like a guest!!

The people who work there are what make the property so wonderful. From first greeting to saying good bye the whole staff was exceptional. They were excited to see us every time we stepped into to lodge, and made us feel like family. remembering our names and

Our vacation at the Mountain meadows lodge was very relaxing for the two of us. Nice getaway for a few days. Clean, friendly staff.

No one at desk when checking in. Picked up phone to notify them like sign said and it said mail box was full and hung up. Waited for someone to show up 20 minutes later and never showed us to our room. Shower curtain thrown on floor in shower. No dinner for us the bistro closed. Not told to me upon my reservation Loads of duck poop on dock. Room very small. Best part was the breakfast. It was great and the Chef was very pleasant.

Loved this property - only there one night and wanted to stay a week. Beautiful spot on the lake and very cozy. Was there during fall but would go back to ski.

What a beautiful place! Close to a lake, with different amenities (even though not all available during low season) and breakfast. Easy parking. We had the room with windows on top. Great stay with big bathroom/shower and very comfortable bed. The common area is very nice and very close to town too.

A unique opportunity to stay in a beautiful Place. Staff worked so hard and helped with all queries. Great place for walks along Appalachian Trail and easy drive into Woodstock and nearby towns:

An enchanting location with very comfortable, clean, and well cared for rooms. The staff were all amazing- very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, the shower and amenities were all high quality, and the views from all around the lodge are gorgeous. I highly recommend the star-view room, the view of the Vermont night sky while lying in bed is something I will never forget. A couple things to note: very rural area. If you are coming from out of town/state you will most definitely need to rent a car. There is a bus that will take you into Killington- but not close enough to the lodge to safely walk and there is no Lyft or Uber available in town, so just keep that in mind when booking a trip here. Also, during the week the restaurant and bar is closed- which isn’t a problem considering there are restaurants and bars within very close driving distance- but just something to consider. I will dream of coming here again and cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to Gabby and Donna and the rest of the Mountain Meadows Lodge team for a wonderful stay!

Great lodge out of the white Christmas movie. Wonderful music playing during dinner and fabulous breakfast buffet and chef Joseph is putting together a great menu for dinner. Fun billiards and darts, foosball room. Lovely rooms

We were two families with 4 patents and three teens, coming to Killington to ski. We enjoyed our stay so much! It was cozy and comfortable, the continental breakfast was nice, saving us precious time before heading to the slopes. Highly recommend!

I liked how small and quiet the place was i did not care for the limited breakfast items Monday tuesday wednesday, that I was there

We enjoyed our stay. It was wintertime, and it was snowing—an amazing atmosphere! There was a good sauna and jacuzzi. After a day of snowboarding, it was exactly what we needed to relax our muscles. The breakfast was tasty. For dinner, there weren’t many options, so we had to go out. The staff was very friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This is a place I would come back to.

Very quiet - slept great! I was there mid-week so the breakfast was continental - it was limited, but it was nice that the bar was open for beer and wine the in the evening. Overall, would recommend!

My room was cute and hugely functional, which I love! When choosing a place to stay, one of the things I consider is an onsite restaurant, which this place advertised. However, it was snowing and the kitchen was closed due to weather - whattt! Couldn’t even get a cocktail. We’re in VT - the only food was crockpot beef stew - I drove into town, which was hopping, and every restaurant was fully staffed and serving.
