Tiarri Terrigal

The owner Frank was very friendly & our unit nos 2 was very quiet, clean & comfortable. It is walking distant to town center, about 10 mins walk. Free parking & free Wifi with good reception.

Frank who welcomed us there was so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Parking very good. Room was very good. Only small fault was the holder for the shower head was loose and shower head wouldn’t stay in place. We would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

We were in a garden room. It was very clean, beachy and modern. Bed and pillows comfy. Came with a kitchen: plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, mugs, microwave, electric portable stove, air fryer, full size fridge with a freezer, and more. Washing machine and dryer too inside the room. We didn't cook or do laundry, but great bonuses to have whilst away. TV access to Netflix, Stan etc Bathroom - shower pressure is awesome, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc provided. Fan and air con worked well. Frank the owner is very friendly, and helpful. He mentioned they renovated the rooms during covid times, which explains their modern look. Place is about a 7 min walk downhill to Terrigal beach, maybe 10-12 going back up (good work out). Always had parking, and undercover too at this hotel. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Terrigal.

Fantastic stay at Tiari with a very spacious king room. Little touches like chocolates, cereal, coffee/tea and milk were fantastic! Great air con and parking available. Could r not fault it and very comfortable stay

The room was very clean and well organized. This is our 3rd set of motel/hotel stay in Australia. Love the quaint motel. We will be back in a couple of years for longer stay.

Unfortunately we did not have a positive stay at Tiarra Terrigal. The room was not properly cleaned before our visit (eg toast crumbs on shelves, hand prints on TV, dirty microwave, dirty towels in washing machine) and it also had a lot of built-up grime which put us off entirely (eg significant layers of grime on the ceiling fans, dust/hair etc in the middle of chairs). The owner was responsive to our early complaints around this and apologised. They offered to refund so we could go elsewhere however this was not practical. In the end the owner provided a 20% refund on our stay. Beyond the cleanliness issue: we stayed in unit 6 which is upstairs. The unit is a two bedroom which has a good size kitchen/lounge area. The kitchen is practical with a good size fridge. There is no dishwasher which was fine for our short stay. We really liked the 'lazy boy' chairs, just need a coffee table. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is very small but practical. It is more like an ensuite. The shower itself was really good. There is access to a shared outdoor space with a big table. There is a room with a common wall near the smaller second bedroom which can impact on sleep. First night was OK but second night next door had a party so sleep was difficult. Don't make our mistake and walk around the hwy into town, there is a shorter back way.

Nice size room. Having a toaster was handy. Comfortable bed. Nice to walk into Terrigal but there is a decent uphill climb. Unfortunately there was hair on the floor in 4 different locations, and when I went to use a spoon it was dirty- had been in someone’s mouth -so not the cleanest. Plus, the outside light was permanently on and the blinds weren’t sufficient to keep out the light so we had to hang up the quilt over the curtain rail in the middle of the night.

Absolutely spotless, beautifully presented and the manager was very helpful and kind. When we are back in Terrigal will be returning guests!

This property is lovely and in a great spot. Close walking distance to Terrigal main centre. The unit is modern though cleanliness could have been better. I feel for the price it could have been. The bed was an issue for my husband and me and the pillows made it worse..2 nights tossing and turning to get comfortable. Please provide better quality. Other than that the shower was a tad smaller than normal and the spa bath could have been cleaner, though we didnt use it.

Easy check in with key - no lockbox which often confuse us. Unit was immaculate.

The room was in fairly good condition, the daily housekeeping that was advertised did not happen. When we arrived there was sand in the fridge. The only mirror in the room was a high one over the bathroom vanity. I could only see my shoulders and face.

Location is ok but cleaning wasn’t good ! Room smells like cigarette and mouldy , aircon wasn’t working, hand towels were dirty with hair on it, bed is not comfortable and looks very old.

Room was very tired ! Furniture worn and uncomfortable Nice outdoor area.

Friendly manager. Clean apartment. Waking distance to Terrigal. Noise from the room directly above us was annoying though. From our bed we could hear every footstep above us as a thud, and movements in the bathroom. Avoid Room 8 if possible.

Good size room, clean and modern bathroom and good size bed. Comfortable and convenient. One point would be the ability to dim or turn of the lights outside the balcony doors or put heavier curtains up as the light is very bright and permiates into the room, which disturbed my sleep. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Room was clean and staff friendly, only issues was the shower head would not hold in place, making it difficult to shower. Only a small issue.

The rooms are spacious but our room had very thin white curtains that did not block the outdoor lights, so it was lit up overnight. Construction next door started at 730am on a Saturday. Was just ok.

We stayed for a week for a sports camp at nearby Erina Fair and it was a perfect spot for that. Check-in and comms with the owners was super-easy. The apartment was well appointed and thoughtfully stocked, comfortable, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay at Tiarri Terrigal again, and recommend it to others.

We arrived to be shown into a dingy dark room. The fridge was full of dirty leaves of some sort. There is no reception but a grotty old hole in the wall room with two very dodgy guys leering at us. We had to ask three times for some milk and towels. Continental breakfast consisted if a sachet of weetbix and a tea bag. We left after one night with the promise of a refund for the remaining three nights as we know he re-sold our room but when i queried it he hung up on me. I am a Gold member of Hotels.com and this experience has put me off totally. Not good. Couldnt even give it 1 star. Do not stay there.

The manager went above and beyond for our stay, upgraded our room, which was a nice surprise. The room was nice and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The room was nice and quiet.

First time to Terrigal. Nice comfortable room in quiet street. Short drive to town eats. Perfect for stopover as we head south on our road trip.

Quiet location, a few minute walk to the beach. on a steep road but if you are driving this is not an issue. We walked to the beach without any hassles.

The facility was missing a coffee maker, which easily could have been remedied with a firer coffee pot

Good quiet location and walkable distance to town and beach. The owner is lovely and there is a food supply of cereal and milk if you’re happy with a simple breakfast.
