Very friendly and helpful welcome with lots of information about the visitor card and the hotel services available. Also advised my partner where to go when he needed a haircut. Food is very good but unfortunately my partner is coeliac and had only 1 item on menu suitable. Though breakfast was catered for gluten free needs.

Ask for a room in the back with balcony, and you'll have a beautiful view of the mountains. Close to the town, we hiked to all three castles easily from the hotel. Stayed for one night in July. A perfect stop over from lake Como to Lucerne. Highly recommend.

Da mein Mann kurzfristig geschäftlich reisen musste habe ich ein Zimmer bei euch gebucht. Als ich ankam hat man mir das Zimmer im Keller katapultiert.... keine Sicht und dunkel. Für dieses Geld war mir das Zimmer nicht wert. Wie sagt man...aus Fehlern lernt man. Also das nächste Mal ein anderes hotel.

First discovered that the shower in our original room (203) was broken and struggled to get WiFi signal. Then was awakened in the middle of the night to the air conditioner flooding our room. Had to completely pack up and change rooms in the middle of the night. As a regular traveler with Platinum status with Marriott, it’s something when I say I’ve never had to change rooms. Very disappointing experience.

I stayed two nights at this hotel. My room was a bit different than advertised. I had a skylight and a portal, so the room was large but a bit dark and with no view other than the sky. The furniture was a bit dated, but in good shape and the bed was comfortable, although the desk in my room was a bit damaged (laminate missing). However, the bathroom was newly renovated and very upscale which was nice. It was great to have a nice hot shower to soothe the muscles after hiking. Breakfast was also great--much better than I expected. Highly recommend paying the extra money. Finally, a bonus! The hotel comes with the Ticino pass, and I made excellent use of this. Overall, I would 100% stay again but would request a different room.

There aren't many hotels in Bellizona and fortunately the International is pretty good. The rooms are larger for Switzerland and the bathroom is surprisingly easy to use. It also has AC - sort of. Unfortunately the International is also on the pricey side and falls a little short with thin towels and even thinner pillows for this price point. But all in all, it's very good and I would go back.
