The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. The apartment itself was average. The bathroom gave off the impression of being a hospital bathroom. The shower curtain did not contain any water so the bathroom mat was soaking after the first use. There was also poor ventilation so the entire bathroom got damp after a shower. The parking lot was incredibly narrow and very difficult to park.

Apartment was very functional but a little dated and in need of some work, especially the carpet. It served our needs well and we enjoyed our stay in Queenstown. Ongoing road construction made access a challenge and we were never sure se would have a parking spot when we returned in the evening. All in all, it worked for us. However, I would invest in some upgrades to things like carpet, lights, etc. if you really want this place to be a 9 rating with Hotels.com. I think Hotels.com missed this one and the place is really a 7.8 to 8.0. People rely on your ratings Hotels.com! You missed this one.

Overall a good stay. Spacious and clean apartments. It was in a good location so was easy to walk into town centre. Our only issue was the parking situation. Even though it was advertised to include parking, the parking was not regulated so either they did not have sufficient parking spots for each apartment or some apartments had multiple cars which used up all the parking spots. This meant for one of our nights, we did not have a parking spot and it was not easy to find off-street parking.

With the construction going outside which i understand is out of their control they could atleast ask the construction company to make the entrance a bit wider and proper. It was very tight especially with a big car. Further the parkjng is very tight inside. Apart from that overall the location of the property is quiet handy. The condition is also okaish considering the price so can't complaint on that.

While the staff are helpful and the location very good, our unit was very outdated. The plumbing in the bathroom was very slow but the shower as hot. We had to put towels down to walk on the bathroom floor as it was so sticky, even socks would stick to it.

Nice location near both downtown and the Gondola. Web page pictures not representative of our actual room. Sofa and chairs with big stains, as well as floor. Kitchenette old and worn. Bathroom floor very sticky. Soap dispenser in bathroom broken By far the most disappointing room during two weeks in NZ. Bad value for money.

Wow! Honestly felt like we were back in a rundown student flat.....Our room had a terrible musty smell & looked like mould down some of the walls. The carpet was very badly stained & the couch had a hole in it. Neither the extractor fan in the kitchen nor the bathroom worked. Part of the wall next to the shower was visibly rotten & the bathroom floor was tacky & looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Worse than all of this though was that the panel heaters in both the bedroom & the lounge were not working & it looked like the power points/switches on the walls had actually been melted! An absolute fire hazard!! Informed reception of all of this & let them know that the heaters need the plugs cut off immediately so they can't be plugged in & an electrician called. Will also be reporting to the Queenstown & Lakes District Council.

Was satisfactory for a one night interim stay but the unit was very plain and aged. Carpets stained, bathroom very plain with sections of wall looking like they had water damage. Sink didn’t drain. Tv worked, had everything we needed.

Clean, tidy and well located. Parking a little tricky if you have a large vehicle. Room was basic but perfectly adequate for us as a family of 4 as were out most of the time.

This motel was not too far from the central shopping area. We were able to walk around. The room was large and clean, although the decor was beginning to show some wear and tear. The bathroom was large with shower in the bath. The step into and out of the bath was quite big. Good towels and toiletries. Parking was good.

The accommodation was very roomy, separate bathroom, bedroom and large kitchen/living room. Lots of equipment in the kitchen. The bed was very comfy and we both slept well. It was a shame that overall the accommodation was a little tired. The basin in the bathroom was cracked, the toilet did not flush well and the floor was very sticky. Location was good, only 10 minutes walk into town.

Highly reccomend this accomodation from our checkin where it was organised for our late arrival. The apartment was cozy and clean when we arrived. Spacious with all the amneties. Lovely staff who allowed us to stay after our checkout. Walking distance to town and activities. Even a smokers area. Great experience.

The manager, Cora, went above and beyond to make our stay GREAT. Cora was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even providing ice for us from her own fridge. The unit was spacious and cleaned very well. Great staff!

Die Fotos trügen. Man hat keinen Seeblick. Die Zimmer sind ok. Das Personal, vor allem die Putzfrauen waren sehr unfreundlich. Die Frau hat uns zugeparkt und hat dann noch reklamiert weil der Guy vom Frontdesk sie anwies ihr Auto umzustellen. Es sind ca. 15-20min zu Fuss ins Zentrum und zum See. Wir sind jeweils gelaufen.

Thank you to Cora and the team for looking after us. They were all happy to help. The apartments themselves are a little dated and the pictures showing the views over the lake do not reflect the reality…they were probably taken several years ago before buildings went in between. However, it is well situated, only a short walk from town and was good value compared to other accommodation in Queenstown.

With lovely views across Queenstown, the Amity Apartments are perfectly satisfactory. The decor (while dated), is functional, the facilities are clean, the location is good (a few steep metres from the CBD will give your hamstrings a warm up!), and the staff are lovely. However, there was no air conditioning in the upstairs unit I was in became exceptionally hot. And I really struggled with the stairs - it was a challenge getting up and down with luggage, and they didn’t feel especially sturdy underfoot. There weren’t any hand rails and the snow grip felt squishy. I *would* stay here again, but would recommend requesting the bottom units which are protected from the afternoon sun and don’t have stairs.

Loved the location,so convenient could walk easly into town and had mountain views The rooms are so spacious tho a little older it had everything we needed, heater ,heated towel rack and heated sheets perfect for winter .kitchen had what you needed to cook basic meals . The managing couple were ever so lovely and couldn't help more. Amity is close to town for walking in and back, which is why I chose there. I had booked twice in previous years but covid and then illness prevented me from travelling. The kitchenette was well equipped which was great as we did most of our food there. No oven though, which is fine. I notice 'noise' and was so pleased for Amity's location to Melbourne Road, to be very quiet. The only drawback was that the main thoroughfare of carpet into lounge/hall was extremely stained, quite a large area, and the tiles in the bathroom need a good scrub. The general cleanliness of the apartment was good.
