I know it's an old hotel and not having an elevator may be understandable. I took my elderly parents

Fantastic waterfront location and perfect place to enjoy a drink or the action on the waterfront. We had a waterfront room- very comfortable beds and good shower. Convenient parking immediately behind room. Some of the outside chairs and little tables were in need of some tlc. Breakfast (which was included) was very disappointing- limited options and all very stodgy using basic bread- no fruit, yogurt or healthy options. Insufficient waiting staff meant service was slow. Shame as a few tweaks could make this am amazing place to stay.

I feel for the money that wasn’t worth it. We were put on the third floor which i feared on the stairs … Stairs I noticed immediately were unclean. I almost felt i should take the cleaner out and do it myself. The staff were nice and the room was quite nice. But again not clean enough for my liking. Breakfast wasn’t great. Every time we asked for something they didn’t have. Only allowed one small piece of orange. That’s ridiculous! Sorry but i wouldn’t want to go back I paid too much

The room was lovely. The decor was appealing. I would ask that the cleaners remove the coffee cups, send them for proper cleaning in the dishwasher before placing them for use in the room. I know breakfast is difficult to serve well but small things like knowing what jam is on offer makes you appear knowledgeable and helpful. Front desk was exceptionally helpful and entirely charming. Thank you for a lovely stay.
