Nice Grounds. Nice Receptionist on Day1.Good bed. Awful scrambled eggs, rubbery and watery I have an electric car.The hotel do not ask their customers if they have an EV. A customer blocked both chargers, the hotel were very unhelpful finding this customer. No Aircon and room fan was very small.

The hotel was nice and the staff were great. Food was nice too. It did feel like a wedding hotel, it gets a lot of visitors and the rooms and general hotel felt a bit battered, it could have been better maintained in the rooms and the breakfast dinning area. Great to have the leisure centre attached and be able to make use of the facilities, the gym was surprisingly really well equipped, enough to keep all forms of gym people satisfied!

A very nice hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pools are only open for children until 7 pm, so be aware of this if you are looking to get some time with the family in before nightfall

Staff from reception to restaurant very friendly and helpful!! The hotel feels a little dated, but room was good size and very comfortable bed. The swimming pool was opened early and good size with lots of extras, sauna, jacuzzi etc . We eat in the hotel restaurant and although quite limited menu, the food was very nice and quickly prepared. Would go there again for a short break.

The swimming pool and water facilities were the most varied I had experienced. However looking up at the pipes whilst swimming there was a lot of rust on them. Perhaps there is already a maintenance date established. But overall I enjoyed the leisure center

Stay on reception and breakfast were outstanding. The restaurant and best no so accommodating some nights (kitchen is closed on a Thursday apparently and the rest the time closes pretty early too. Hotel very overpriced though.

The grounds at Brandon House are well worth a stroll through. The hotel itself is an old house with a new extension that houses most of the rooms. There is no lift, which is worth noting if you have loads of luggage. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant but weren’t impressed with the quality. The bed was fairly hard and the duvet thick and heavy which isn’t ideal for the summer months. The hotel is worth an overnight stay but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer.

We had a lovely stay at Brandon House Hotel, and there's a lot to like about the place. However, it's simply not a four-star hotel and the expectation as such let it down for us. The old library bar is beautiful, the view from the hotel is gorgeous and the staff were all very good - but everywhere had a feeling of being neglected, from the rising damp on the walls in the breakfast room to the many functions that didn't work in the leisure suite and the smell of damp throughout. Both the room rate and the library bar food were priced as a fancy place, but for that money I expect quality throughout. I hope the renovations will be extensive, because the place has plenty of charm and potential!

Very clean. Staff were very nice. Nice having the pool area, my son was a little disappointed he couldn’t use the jacuzzi/sauna due to age. We enjoyed the food at the bar and at breakfast time.

Parking fine, receptions and surounding areas well finished. Rooms pleasant, although duvets were too heavy for summer use. TV channles limited, although youtube was enabled which kept my son occupied whem required. Food in the bar was fine. Small menu but fresh and came out piping hot. You do have to track down your own condiments though as they are not at the table or offered by your server. Room bathroom, small but well finished. Temperature regulation valve in the shower was broken in our room, so there was no safety lock, nor could water be mixed successfully, therefore the shower had two tenperatures of cold or roasting hot. No use to shower a child and challenging for an adult. I stated this as recpetion when checking out and got nothing more than a 'thanks for telling us we wilk get that fixed'. That was of little use to us as we were ony staying one night....good service would have been at least to offer to see if we wanted a shower in an available room before we left, ask if we wanted breakfadt of or offer discount if staying again. The fundamental that a guest couldn't shower without risk of burns appeared lost on the two employees.

Très bon hôtel isolé du reste. Avec ma famille mon mari est de jeunes enfants avons apprécié notre séjour là-bas d'une nuit. L'hôtel est relativement grand tout comme le parking gratuit où il est facile de se garer sans problème. Le petit plus c'est qu'il y a un air de jeu pour les enfants à l'extérieur. Le cadre est joli et le bâtiment aussi. Concernant la chambre elle coche toutes les cases. La literie est confortable la chambre est spacieuse silencieuse et la salle de bain et nickel. Nous avons pu profiter d'une belle piscine un peu froide pour moi mais pas pour les enfants qui se sont bien amusés. Heureusement que nous étions là un jour de semaine pour profiter de la piscine car le weekend elle ferme à 19h30 ce qui est tôt quand on voyage et qu'on passe la journée à visiter les alentours... Concernant le repas nous avons pu manger sans réserver mais nous n'avons pas bien compris le concept de la salle... Il y a un bar où il servent à manger là où nous étions mais il y avait une autre salle de restaurant mais il y avait un mariage... Sur la carte du bar il n'y avait pas de végétarien. C'est dommage mais ils ont fait une exception exceptionnellement j'ai pu avec un plat proposé au restaurant. Le soir des musiciens se sont installés dans le bar et on jouait c'était un bon moment.

We had a fantastic weekend at Brandon Hotel. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. We did enjoy the gym, sauna and pool area. Our family room was spacious and beds were really comfortable. The food at the breakfast buffet was good, fresh and diverse. Something for everyone. According my son he had the best hot chocolate :) Overall this weekend was an absolutely treat for the family. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good food at the bar/dining room. All very comfortable. Downsides -no fridge in room. Could do with a nice painting in the bedroom. No safe in the room. Horrible brown Formica style furniture. I think a hotel of this quality could enhance the bedroom decor. However, all in all, a very good stay.

Over priced Hotel with poor service from some of the staff who are more eager to close the spa/gym and go home than to assist guests. check in time is 4pm then the spa/gym/pool was denied to us at 7.15pm then check out at 12 that does not allow you much time to use the facilities especially considering the breakfast room is not big enough to seat guests and we were asked to wait 30 mins for a table/entry to breakfast. I don't wish to stay here again. special shout out to the breakfast chef who made generous omelettes very well.

Stairs challenging with my luggage. I have fallen a few times recently, so not the best but it was good exercise! Hotel was quiet with beautiful surroundings. The drive there was magnificent! Breakfast was very good. We don’t drink wine often but it sure helped my sore legs!!

We arrived four hours to our check in time and they graciously let us check in. The breakfast is an endless array of breakfast delicacies in a clean, quaint dining room. We had Serena and Fean as our servers our first night. Kind, friendly and very patient. And they make amazing flat whites. Please take advantage of this property if you are visiting this area ☘️🇮🇪
