Hilton Garden Inn Homestead

It was convenient and clean. Surpassed my expectatives in how clean and spacios was the room. One of the elevators was out of service but fixed within 24 hours and not a big deal because didn't have to wait that much to get to the rooms.. The only thing that took me by surprise is that they do not allow to get towels to take along for the beach. Something that was fixed really quick beacuse the Hotel is right in front of the property and I bought them.

We recently stayed at this Hilton and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. However, we were disappointed with the bar and restaurant service. According to the posted hours, it was supposed to be open from 5 to 10 p.m., but the bartender didn’t show up. Because of this, the only staff member available was 19 and legally couldn’t serve anything but beer. To make matters worse, we tried to order food around 8 p.m., but were told the cook had left early, so the kitchen was already closed. It’s unfortunate that the evening dining and bar experience fell short, especially when we chose this hotel partially for its on-site amenities. Hopefully this was a one-time issue and not the norm, because otherwise it’s a great place to stay.

Great as always. Breakfast is no longer free. Only one elevator working. The room was super nice and clean. Would stay again.

My stay was going very well and the last night the powe went out for hours and didn’t return until 11:45pm. The room was hot for hours.

What can I say about staff that disables a fire alarm after it has gone off over 8 times in an hour? Manager Fernando lied about what’s causing it as someone smoking in a stairway when the fire department said it was water leaking into the fire alarm system! The lack of concern for the guest safety was enough for us to leave the hotel after the manager called my husband a liar about what the fire department said was the cause. We will never be back here! I will be calling Hilton to report this when I get home!!

Overall the hotel was great, a beautiful room. The restaurant/bar was very disappointing though. Reduced menu and closing earlier than advertised. Food was average too

Was not happy that the hotel wasn't staffed properly and some of the services offered were not available. We booked this property over other ones nearby because of services offered like an onsite bar, and bar wasn't selling alcohol because they didn’t have a bartender. Also, we paid extra for breakfast and the buffet wasn't available on the second day of our stay there. We had to order from menu, they were out of coffee, out of oatmeal, had to ask for juice, and water in lobby was empty, so nothing to drink, we had to ask multiple times to get something to drink. Also lady taking care of tables at breakfast was very unfriendly and kind of rude.

I loved this property! Self park, no charge for parking and it is in a safe area. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Our friends and I shared a room on the way to the Florida Keys for vacation as we do every year. Our friends had expensive fishing equipment stolen from the inside of their boat parked in the parking lot of hotel. Cops were called and report made. Very disappointed

People very pleasant and one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever had in the state of FL, especially the bathroom! Bed was just ok. All in all a pleasant stay.

Easy to check in nice that you’re close to a bunch of different stores and restaurant. It didn’t smell like weed even in the hallway. It was very clean.

When I checked in, $100 was held on my card for incidentals. The card reader showed approved, yet the receptionist said they only saw $50 in their system and charged another $50. I showed proof of the $100 hold, but they insisted. The night audit staff confirmed one $50 authorization. This impacted my budget and left me $50 short for my trip. The checkin felt cold - no welcome, no info about breakfast or dinner hours, nothing at all to make me feel comfortable or valued. I used to work for Marriott and always tried to make guests feel cared for. That did not happen here. The lobby felt like a ghost town. No one greeted me when I walked in. Food was overpriced - a Caesar salad was $17. Breakfast wasn’t included, and the app was misleading. It showed room service but staff said it didn’t exist. I scanned the TV code for a menu but was told to order and pick up at the bistro. I asked for a plate and was told they had zero, though the kitchen clearly did. I had to makeshift one from cardboard which was frustrating and unacceptable. The room had no hand soap, only a face bar. Shower pressure was weak. Mold was visible above the shower. The microwave light was so bright it lit the room all night. The pillows were flat and the comforter was thin. I was placed in a conjoined room which made me uneasy as a solo female traveler. The walls were thin and I could hear people clearly making it worse and more uncomfortable. Parking was small with few spots. This felt like an $80-$100 stay

Excellent stay. Extremely clean rooms.

I stayed couple of days for work. Very quiet and spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable, had a nice sleep. Water pressure was great. Overall very decent place. I did not get to use the pool or the other amenities the hotel had to offer., same for the food. Target next door if you want to buy cheaper snacks.

The television was not working, and apparently there was no maintenance staff working on the weekend. I’ve stayed in a hundred hotels, from fancy ones to dives, and I have never been in a room where a tv didn’t work. Ridiculous.

It was nice and clean. BATHROOMS REQUIRE A DOOR THAT COMPLETELY CLOSES AND LOCKS. not staying here again.

Didn’t like the bathroom sliding door. Not enough privacy

Had to wait a bit before check in due to no one at the front desk & a prior guest as well was waiting before I could be serviced. Unclear communication when trying to see about late check out, when booked was advised to wait until check in day, then actual check in when called that morning, then was finally advised once I was checking in that I can’t inquire until check out date which if advised the first time I asked would have been ok but felt I was getting the run around. Though the room felt updated in its outward appearance the sliding bathroom door has a huge gap which isn’t convenient when needing a fully private moment especially when sharing a room & it not being your partner though even so would rather it be fully closed off. The door is pretty but that issue made it uncomfortable in a way since the gap is exactly where the toilet is located & you can feel fully seen. WiFi didn’t work even after signing up for the required package just kept me in the registration loop. Lastly, the TV was outdated. No access to streaming service only their basic channels with no way to even cast from your own device. It would be a nice upgrade when trying to have a girls night & with partner & wanting to have access to any entertainment. Had a music option on it though that was empty so tv was off the visit since wasn’t going to be beneficial. Minus my opinion of my visit the location was great near Target & restaurants just not fully what was expected for the trip intention.

Air conditioning was so noisy has to turn it off to sleep and then got too hot so not a good night's sleep. One of two lifts out of order and breakfast selection adequate, no juices for example and the orange pieces were ends only

Room was clean and a/c unit surprisingly quiet. Bathroom sliding door very heavy and hard to open. Staff very dry and stiff. Had to ask about extra charge, lighting in the room and the fact that only one entry card was issued. No thank you, No Welcome, No Information, not hospitality friendly staff. Hotel and Room excellent!

Be careful, there is a highway next to the hotel. Almost impossible for us to fall asleep as the soundproffing in the room is really poor. Our baby daughter fell asleep early so we didn't brother asking for a room change not to wake her up but beware of that when you check in. Otherwise the hotel is decent and good location if you want to visit the everglades.

I really liked the hotel—my room was very clean, fresh, and pleasant, and it was nice and quiet at night. The only thing I missed was a small safety box in the room, like most hotels usually provide. Housekeeping was excellent; they cleaned the room and changed the towels every day. The only aspect I didn’t enjoy was the breakfast buffet concept. There were no juices, water, or cold food (cheese, ham, etc) available for self-service. Everything had to be requested from the waitstaff every single day, which doesn’t align with the typical buffet style they advertise. It’s not very practical and ends up taking a lot of the staff’s time for basic items that guests could easily help themselves to. Even buffet-included items like bacon, eggs, and sautéed potatoes were not laid out and had to be ordered. I believe this is something that could be improved in the future to match the standard of other hotels in the same category.

Nice room, EXCEPT the bathroom door is a sliding barn door with a large gap that exposes the person using the toilet. Not private or sound proof then. That was NOT good.

The staff is always friendly and do their best at accommodating everyone.

Staff was friendly and helpful

We were woke up at 230am from front desk calling...a police officer was pratroling the parking lot and noticed a suspicious person watching our van... Which we had a yeti cooler and bikes on a cargo carrier...we got up.... Moved our van....took bikes and cooler off...was able to store them in a storage area in hotel.... Amazing staff.. Also there was a security guard patrolling the parking lot also

BEWARE!!! KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING!!! To start off, it took more than 30 minutes to check in at this property. The night staff clearly had not been given adequate training. I\'m not a hard person to please, so I completely looked over the LONG delay. I got my room key and went to my room. My son went in first and as I was trying to put the room key in the light slot, my son pushes me and says, "get out!!!" I look at him and see legs moving in the bed! About that time a sleepy man sat up and looked me dead in the eye! I profusely apologized and quickly got out of his room! My heart was pounding as I realized this could have gone really bad! Although the hotel was great in every other way, this experience was NOT what you expect at a Hilton branded hotel. I called Hilton when I returned home and was told they submitted the complaint and I would hear from management at the hotel within 3 days. It has been over 3 weeks and I have not heard a word from them. VERY DISAPPOINTED with this stay...It will make me consider other hotels in the future.

Friendly check in staff

No welcome coming into hotel . Staff not at all friendly . Not impressed with Hilton I’ll go back to marriot

I had a great experience with the staff, particularly the young man who checked me in. He later assisted my father and his girlfriend after I reserved a room for them when their original plans fell through. I truly appreciated that he placed us on the same floor, just steps away from each other. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made the entire process smooth and welcoming.

They could not find my reservation. I waited three hours and It was found. No compensation. It was not a good experience for me.

Great time, the hotel was well kept and the area felt safe. We were in walking distance from several stores and there were some great restaurants in the area. Pool was a blast.

Great location! Good restaurants and very short walking distance to Target. Very convenient stay while we were visiting the Keys, Biscayne National Park, and Everglades National Park.

Great location for Everglades stay. Central to diners, shops and routes. Good facilities, pool, gym and breakfast to start your day.

This hotel was very clean & offered good amenities. It is in a convenient location with shops, pharmacy & restaurants within walking distance. It is easy access to the Florida turnpike if you are driving further south. We will stay again if heading that way!

It is in shopping center with good dining options and close to US 1 for trip to Key West

Room was clean and customer service was great. The only issue was the breakfast buffet, you can't serve yourself water and they dont have pancakes or waffles available with the buffet.

Convenient location for Everglades visit. Close to a good selection of shops & restaurants. Hotel has a pleasant pool area, good size reception and clean bedrooms. Breakfast was good albeit the ‘included’ charging structure a bit confusing.

We paid for the extra cost of Breakfast on Expedia. However, when we got down to the breakfast buffet the next morning we learned we had to pay even more then what we already had paid. As a customer all prices included specifically in the price should be directly transparent with the price at the breakfast buffet. There should not be discrepancies in pricing.

Exceptional stay. Very comfortable bed. Room has a nice sitting area by the window. Bathroom was modern and good sized. We were very relaxed here. They do have a restaurant/bar. We had breakfast, which was a standard buffet, but not included. We liked that we could purchase off the menu specially made items or ala carte for the small, individual things that we wanted. We would definitely stay here again.
