The hotel just underwent a major renovation so everything was modern, new and clean! The beds and pillows( not feather) were the best! I suggest getting breakfast included with your stay otherwise it’s very expensive. It was nice to have self service laundry available. Beautiful facility with a lovely swimming pool and centrally located to numerous dining, shopping and tourist activities.

Great location next to Clark Quay for a large choice of restaurants. About a 40 minute walk along the river to the Gardens by the Bay but near to the MRT for Singapore Zoo etc. Rooms are compact but have everything that you need and the outside pool is large for a decent swim.

Good location to access Clark Quay entertainment area. It is a short walk across the street. For transportation it is close to the subway and easy to get taxis or Grab. The hotel is under renovations but many rooms are already updated. I didn’t notice much noise or disturbance despite there being renovations ongoing. Don’t book the breakfast option on Expedia as it is far cheaper to book it onsite. At least for me it was. Expedia asked for $99 for the breakfast option but on-site was $25. Most staff were friendly and helpful. One staff member wasn’t however which is a first for me in my travels. Maybe they were having a bad day but it’s part of their job to be pleasant and not be confrontational. I liked this hotel and its simplicity. There was a decent size pool and the amenities one would want in a city hotel. The price was really good, most likely because of the renovations. The location made wandering around late at night to the Clarke Quay easy. I love what they have done to the entertainment area with all the options for food and music. Great atmosphere.

Decent hotel at a reasonable price for Singapore. It is well located near Clarke Quay and walking distance from Raffles Place. The main attraction for me is its excellent, large pool, which is the right shape and size for a proper swim. Otherwise it is fairly average but nothing at all wrong with it. This is my go to Singapore hotel for work and personal trips

We found this hotel via an Expedia package for Singapore and were so glad we did. Situated between Clarke Quay and Chinatown makes this hotel the perfect location. Along with friendly and accomodating staff, we really enjoyed our stay!! The hotel had a lovely pool, 24/7 gym, nice rooms and the staff were extra nice with their gestures in celebrating our anniversary and making our stay comfortable with a later check out. Highly recommend!

Had to change rooms when we checked in. Room was not sufficiently ‘clean’. Front desk took care of it quickly and provided another room. Hotel is very close to the lively Clarke Quay, no shortage of dining, shopping & entertainment in this area. Close to Marina Bay Sands resort and the fabulous Singapore riverfront.

Probably not up to the standard it once was and expensive for what it is. Lovely staff and nothing particularly wrong with the hotel although bathroom was not cleaned properly on arrival. I would still stay again at the right price but generally they are at a bit of a premium.

Good points. The location is very good and very convenient to go anywhere. It is right on Clarke Quay, so you don't have to worry about where to have dinner. There is a laundry in the basement and I was able to do my own laundry. The rooms are not large but stylish and relaxing. What is not so good I pressed the housekeeping button before going out, but when I returned in the evening, the room had not been cleaned. This happened often. The housekeeping staff was very nice and delivered towels and toiletries as soon as I asked for them, but it was a hassle to call and request them every time. We stayed for 5 nights and the cleaning was only in place for 2 days. This would have been acceptable for 1-2 nights, but since we stayed 5 nights, it was tiring. Other than that, I think it is a very nice hotel.

Housekeeping was not satisfactory. Once they did not clean the dust bins, and the bathroom supplies were not replaced promptly. Even worse was that the housekeeping remained undone until 6pm. You can also tell that the room was not properly clean up each time.

The most disgusting hotel in Singapore. 0 stars. I checked in at 11 pm, very tired and just wanted a good night sleep. However, my bed was “ used “ and NOT CLEAN. So disgusting. When I called the front desk they just said; if you want an other room please pack your bags again and come down here and we will get you another room. Next room, not exactly clean either. I will never stay there again nor recommend this to others.

The room was very small, but the terrible thing was that it didn’t have a bathroom! It had a vanity about 2 feet from the bed and a glass enclosed toilet and shower about 2 feet from the vanity. There was NO PRIVACY whatsoever!

The location was great. Easy to walk to places. The room was clean and our first room was noisy due to a street view but the staff was accommodating and kind they gave us a new room that was so much quieter. The bathroom situation was interesting beware if you are sharing with someone if you aren’t as comfortable using the restroom with lol

They are modernizing/remodelling. At least the modernized room we stayed in was modern looking but totally impractical. The design of the bathroom inside the room, with the faucet in the middle of the room next to the closet was awful. No drawers and a tiny closet with no room to put the luggage in. Sad because the overall look/location/staff of the hotel is nice.

The room was very small and there was no privacy for anyone using shower or toilet beyond a frosted glass enclosure. The shower was next to the front entrance so if you opened the door people could see your shadow in shower. There was a “privacy” screen between sink/toilet and shower but you could see through it. Fine for a married couple but not for two friends traveling together. Hotel was clean and comfortable otherwise. $40.00 for breakfast is a bit much but restaurant is not attached to hotel and there are plenty of other close by options. Hotel is centrally located close to many features including transit, Chinatown and other attractions

The light in the cupboard kept me up all night as it was broken and wouldn’t turn off. I asked reception to fix and they did for one night but the next night it was back on and keeping me up. They made the room one day and forgot towels, so when I got home I had to call to ask for towels. Location convenient 100m walk to Clarke Quay station Overall, hotel was good but very tiny rooms

This was a return trip after staying here in July 2023. The location and staff are great but I must single out two staff members: Debbie allowed me to check in really early after a gruelling flight from Paris. She was warm, friendly, empathetic and efficient. Frontline superstars are the lifeblood of any good hotel. Raj, the Concierge, was welcoming, friendly and fun as well as being really helpful with directions and suggestions. He assisted with my luggage at check in and check out and even doublechecked my room to ensure I hadn’t left anything. He is a real asset to the hotel at the front door and is obviously thriving in his role. Many thanks and great work, Raj!

Pros: Clean rooms, friendly bell and counter staff, amazing seafood restaurant just in the lobby of the hotel, well- maintained facilities Cons: Windows are not sound proof, and you will hear the mosque next door (which can wake you up in the early morning). Night guard sitting at the lobby table is rude.

Concierge guys were really good, friendly and helpful. Always greeted you with a smile. Room was fresh and cleaned ok. Needs a lite bit of refreshment in the shower and toilet etc. Reception at first were fine and helpful, although breakfast charges were never explained to us, we followed the price given by Hotels.com of 25 SPD however they charged nearly double. When first approaching reception we had to argue our case, and the guy eventually said he will waiver the fee. However when checking out the rude guy in rec was adamant we needed to pay the full price, he new full well our initial discussion the days prior as he was there. We left extremely unhappy and dissatisfied that they could not honour the variance in order to keep guest satisfied. Later on in the afternoon we get an email apology from the duty manager and the variance will be credited! All resolved but leaves a sour taste with poor service from reception, which lets the overall exp down Very good and locally placed with metro, city etc

This precious little hotel is small, as are its rooms, but we didn't mind since we spent so little time there. At night, it was utter comfort with a great shower etc. The location (near food, shopping, and MRT public transport) was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Do not hesitate. Nothing bad to say.

Really great pool & quiet, well-designed rooms. Room service were really friendly & attentive. Downsides are that the breakfast buffet is cheaply done with average coffee & the staff seem far too interested in how much you eat. I'd consider this place to recuperate from the Singapore heat but their service needs improvement.

Would not stay at this hotel again. There are plenty of other much better properties around the city. Pros: - Good location - Friendly staff Cons: - Rooms and decor are dated - No business amenities / places to work - No in room coffeemakers - Breakfast is chaotic and there are insufficient spaces for guests to eat
