An old building, a bit rickety, steep narrow stairs. We were not in the main part of the inn, but in what seemed to be an old house modified for two story use. The staff was courteous and pleasant. There was not really enough parking for everyone. We would not choose this inn again.

Beautiful property, I highly recommend staying here! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room, the Lady’s Slippers suite, was fantastic. Breakfast was very good, and dinner in their restaurant was our best meal in Vermont yet! We enjoyed sitting in the garden at sunset. Just an overall great place to stay!

Very well located and the staff is really friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was peaceful, with a nice outdoor area including a pond and seating. Breakfast was fantastic and packed in a picnic basket so we could easily eat by the pond. Good value. Also, not included, but dinner there was fantastic!

We moved our stay at the Reluctant Panther. Check in was easy with Mary. She lead us to our suite and got ice for us. We loved the in room fireplace although it really heated up the room. The Jacuzzi tub was a bonus. The breakfast served to our room in the morning was just what we ordered and was delicious. We really felt pampered and it seemed as though we were guest in someone’s beautiful home. We will be back.

Having dined here in the past we decided to make a stay at the inn as well as enjoy a nice dinner. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast basket was appreciated but could be improved somewhat. Will definitely come back

This was our second stay at the Reluctant Panther, and we enjoyed it very much. Our room in the main building was beautiful. My cousins' room in the next building was great, with a lovely back porch & pond view. We had the breakfast basket everyday in the dining room, which was fine. I would definitely recommend this property for location, decor, cleanliness, and good value. Hope to return again soon!

Although the inn is in a great location and the public spaces are nice, the bedrooms are really very tired. Everything needs updating. There were stains on the ceiling, the cotton blanket was threadbare and had a hole in it, everything needs a fresh coat of paint. The caulk around the bathroom tub was coming off. Not what you expect from a 4 star inn/hotel.

Wonderful property and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly! My only suggestion would be to maybe steam clean the carpet in the rooms. Other than that, the place is a home run!

We stayed and ate at the Inn the weekend of Valentine’s Day and we had a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful, cozy and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the town is very cute. I would love to come back and stay again—we still talk about it!

Easy check-in - lovely room. Found the beds a bit too hard for our liking. Nice way to do the breakfast by ordering the night before and they were able to accommodate the allergy. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed the night we were there.

Having booked a Superior room we were taken out of the main building to a garden room that was up a steep narrow flight of stairs. The property smelt musty and of damp, immediately that the door was opened. Having declined this room we were offered an alternative more expensive room (at a supplement) in the main building. Unfortunately, we got no sleep due to noise from (we think) an industrial ice machine which switched on regularly through the night. It sounded like a jet taking off. There is no-one on site over night to raise issues such as this with and we ended up irritable and unrested the following morning. The desk clerk said they would raise it with the inn-keeper who initially requested an additional $300 payment over what we had paid Expedia. This was subsequently dropped.

The inn consists of a beautiful old main building with modern bungalow rooms in a garden setting. We stayed in one of the modern additions. The room was very spacious and well-appointed. The bathroom was of a good size and the complimentary toiletries were especially good. There was plenty of space to sit and relax. We went for the in-room breakfast option, which was superb. The inn is in town, on a quiet side street, with lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights for a ski trip. The Inn was very well taken care of and the staff was extremely accommodating. They had our breakfast ready every morning to go with all wonderful food. Our only complaint was our room was close to the road so there was a lot of traffic noise.

My stay was delightful. The Innkeeper who assisted us during check-in was gracious and hospitable. My daughter and I chose to have breakfast in our room, and it was presented in a charming picnic basket. Upon check-out, another welcoming lady was present at the front desk. My only concern is that the gentleman (presumably the owner or general manager) did not acknowledge my daughter and me, despite making eye contact. There was no 'good morning,' no offer to hold the door, nor a simple inquiry about our stay, which would have been small yet considerate gestures of appreciation, particularly for a property that promotes itself as a luxury inn.

Resturant on the site was excellent with friendly staff. The choice of entrees was somewhat limited but tasty. The breakfast delivered to our room was so convenient and delicious. They recognized an error from our on-line reservation reservations and corrected it resulting a lower nightly charge. We greatly appreciated me.them doing this. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in answering our questions or getting us what we needed. We hope to stay there again.

We had a lovely weekend at The Relucatant Panther. The room was perfect. The area was quiet. It was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The dinner was scrumptious, and we loved the little basket with breakfast - just enough! The staff at both the desk and the dining room was amazing! We can't wait to come back.

I can’t say enough about the room, service and dinning. Blown away. Don’t even bother looking elsewhere in Man VT. We skied Stratton and the value is so much better. Loved the small bar and food is outstanding and not off the charts. We will be back for sure. PS. The tub with pillows was the best! She loved every minute of her quick stay. The breakfast basket in am was perfect.
