Nice motel. Room was on the small size but very clean and neat. We were able to check in early to make it to an afternoon wedding. Small playground and adult double swing—nice touch. Bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt for breakfast.

Lobby/breakfast area was tiny. Only 1 ice machine, was located in the office. While it was good shape overall, you could tell this place was built in the 1950s, maybe.

It's a small unpretentious family run business. The room we stayed in was very good and worthy of 4 stars, and that was what counted. The rest of the place was small and ordinary, with no real facilities. The breakfast area, for example, was basically bedroom-sized with two or three tables and shared with the motel's receptionist. Don't be misled; we liked and were satisfied by the place; it was just more "rustic" than we expected. But we would stay there again; no complaints.

This was an easy, clean and quiet motel not too far from North Adams. I think it would be great for hikers or others seeking a pleasant place to stop. Really nice tables and sit-down swings for adults, too.

Very straightforward and correct. Outstandingly clean and well-appointed. Simple breakfast. Nice picnic tables outside and adirondack chairs, also a dual adironack chair set with shared table outside each room. Just what we wanted in a clean, comfortable, convenient overnight.

Stay was ok. It is an old motel. It was clean. My only complaint was that it smelled. Cant quite place what the smell was. It was tolerable with the window open. I only had a one night stay.

Well maintained, rooms very clean and appropriately updated. For a basic travel motel, everything was very nice. Rooms were basic, but well maintained. Not only very clean, but also updated in maintenance so it felt good (like newer carpet, and tiled clean shower surround). I would stay again without hesitation.

A 8.6 average ratings seems way too high. The place is very clean, but the AC in our room had a very musty smell that stuck to our clothing even after leaving the motel which was very unpleasant and gave me a headaches. Also, the bathroom is very small and has an even smaller bathtub with angles at the sides which makes for a rather slippery situation when you shower, which resulted in our daughter slipping.

The room was very clean and the heat was good. The pictures show a microwave in the room and we bought some frozen meals and when we arrived we were told all the microwaves were removed. We had to walk outside to the lobby to heat food. The lobby was also closed on Sunday. The room smelled like perfume. I dislike air freshers and perfume and some peop!e are allergic to them. Thats just a personal thing, some may love the perfume smell. We did have a great stay and it was clean and quiet. So if you like perfume and want to eat out you will like it.

This was the second time we have stayed at this property in about a month. Like the first time, the room was spotlessly clean, with modern conveniences like: microwave, refrigerator, desk, comfortable linens, and basic toiletries. Hot water was immediate and plentiful. Staff was friendly. Although the hotel appeared to be quite full, it was very quiet. Continental self-serve breakfast provided: coffee, juice, bagels, English muffins, packaged danish, two kinds of cold cereal. Within short driving distance to town (less than 10 minutes), where there a numerous restaurants, cafes, and the gorgeous Williams campus. Would highly recommend!

We had a really late check in around 10pm. The weather was really bad due to pouring rains. The front desk clerk was nice enough to call to confirm we were still coming because it was getting late. The room was very clean beds bathroom and floors were clean as well. I would use or recommend this location

The front desk staff was really nice and check in was very quick. My king bed room was great. It smelled fresh and was very clean. There’s a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a microwave. The bathroom was stocked nicely with towels and soaps as well as a hair dryer. Outside there are cute chairs and some swings on the property. This was a very budget friendly place and will definitely come back again!

This place is OK. Rooms are small, bathroom tiny. It is well-maintained. Mattress was exceedingly soft. Nice thing is that there is maid service that changed the towels and made the bed. Very convenient parking right in front of door to room. Seems like a 1950's style motel. Continental breakfast only.

Excellent cute little motel, with great outdoor seating. Room renovated, very clean. But there were no microwave, no hairdryer , and no coffee machine in the room. Quite unusual for a motel, coming from experienced travelers who crossed country the US several times. .

Very clean, nice room. Felt safe. It’s outside of williamstown and in an area where my phone didn’t work well but thankfully they provide free WiFi. Only thing that could be improved was bathroom needs a shelf or someplace to put your toiletries. Tiny bathroom.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago to visit my kids. This visit, the fridge and hair dryers were removed without notice. I had to purchase a hairdryer and needed to grab ice to keep medicine cold. Won't stay here again

First the good: The check-in was easy and the gentleman at the desk was polite. The room was clean and smelled ok. Bed and sheets were cleaned. The bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and paper. Now the bad: No refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker. The bed was worn out, but I still managed to get a good night sleep. The continental breakfast is from 8am-10am. But really 8:30 since the staff don't start until 8am. Most motels start at 6am or 7am. This was an inconvenience since we had to be somewhere by 8am. Overall it was a good stay. I only stayed for 2 nights. I just wished they would have had a refrigerator and microwave as advertised.

We stayed at The Villager for one night, in mid-January. The property is right on Route 7, but set back, so we didn't hear any traffic noise. Check-in was super easy, and the owner was friendly and polite. We had a king sized bed, which we found very comfortable. The room also had a desk/office chair, reading chair, closet, two dressers and nightstands. The bathroom was modern with great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Basic toiletries were provided, towels were plush and soft, and a hair dryer was available as well. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast is included in the price, which consisted of two types of cold cereal, tea/coffee, juice, milk, bagels, English muffins, and pre-packaged muffins. There was a toaster available to use. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed. Location is great, with plenty of restaurants just 5 minutes down the road (two were within walking distance). Would highly recommend, and hope to stay again when we are in the area.

We we’re traveling with a group for a work between Dorset VT and New Lebanon NY, so the location was perfect. Kira at the front desk was so helpful, from checking everyone in to even helping me print something I needed for work! The rooms were lovely and clean, comfortable beds, the window opens for fresh air. Reasonable price for the area. I only wish the window in the bathroom opened too but other than that it was great.

The motel is perfect for tourists travelling by car since parking is very easy. Free breakfast is available in the morning. Large rooms and nice staff people. The Motel is 5 minute driving from the town center of North Adam. There is a restaurant nearby, or you need the car to reach the town centre.

The motel is just outside of Williamstown, and a15 min. drive from North Adams. It is very quiet, and the quality of the rooms, breakfast and amenities is excellent. One of the best "value for money" and comfortable locations we've stayed at. The town and college are beautiful, with two world-class art galleries, plus a short drive to Mass MoCA.

We stayed at The Villager for one night, in mid-January. The property is right on Route 7, but set back, so we didn't hear any traffic noise. Check-in was super easy, and the owner was friendly and polite. We had a king sized bed, which we found very comfortable. The room also had a desk/office chair, reading chair, closet, two dressers and nightstands. The bathroom was modern with great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Basic toiletries were provided, towels were plush and soft, and a hair dryer was available as well. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast is included in the price, which consisted of two types of cold cereal, tea/coffee, juice, milk, bagels, English muffins, and pre-packaged muffins. There was a toaster available to use. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed. Location is great, with plenty of restaurants just 5 minutes down the road (two were within walking distance). Would highly recommend, and hope to stay again when we are in the area.

Nice motel. Room was on the small size but very clean and neat. We were able to check in early to make it to an afternoon wedding. Small playground and adult double swing—nice touch. Bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt for breakfast.

The motel does not promise more than it really offers, so I don't want to complain too much about the decor and furniture that look very tired and sad. Otherwise, my room was quiet, clean, the bathroom functional, there are a microwave, a fridge, and an air conditioner (nice!). The coffee maker was out of order in my room, and don't expect a home-made meal to start your day: it's an OJ-FruitLoops-Folgers-type of breakfast that is offered in a tiny room. Villager is a gem. Perfect for my visit to the Clark. Those who remember past motels will appreciate getting an actual room key. That said, the up to date and well-designed rooms, including a comfortable mattress, even a working TV, were a pleasure. Even the continental breakfast was well-chosen- all I needed. It was perfectly quiet and near the Cozy Corner restaurant, with a very hospitable staff and a menu with an attractive range of reasonably-priced meals.
