Everything was great just disappointed because we picked this hotel for the indoor pool so the grandkids could swim and the pool was out of order. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay!! Great location and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel was good, but they have 3 elevators, only working 1 of those 3 and this one was not working properly. Actually I had to go down 11 floors using the stairs because the only elevator stop working and keep people trapped inside. Then I had to go up 11 floors again with my family.

Staff were all friendly and had excellent service. The main downside is there is only 1 elevator working and seems like it is on its last leg. Sometimes we had to wait 2-3 times before getting to ride the elevator with our stuff. Other times we just took the stairs. The other big downside is the pool is tiny and dark - we didn’t even use the pool. It didn’t look attractive at all. We also didn’t like paying $45 a day to park valet - there were other options but didn’t want to have to fight traffic, etc. The main positive is the room was spacious and liked having the larger fridge, sink. It was walking distance to the river walk off Navarro. I would probably try another hotel the next visit.

We stayed for three nights at this property and our experience was not good. The hotel has several issues 1 - out of the three elevators only 1 was working. The hotel has 14 floors. Imagine how much time one family has to wait just to get the elevator to go up or down. This became extremely inconvenient when you have luggage with you. Apparently this issue has been ongoing for couple months. 2 - pool was out of order for maintenance. 3 - our room had two light fixtures not working. The water shower setting for hot to cold was reversed. Overall unhappy with the facilities for the amount you pay to stay in this hotel.

The location is perfect and there is a public parking garage right across the street that is much more reasonable than the valet, especially if you're not taking your car in and out a lot. Clean property and the kitchenette is helpful for snacks and reheats.

The hotel had only 1 working elevator... So the wait was ridiculous.. Then their cleaners had to use the same elevator so it was even longer waiting on them to get off. We went down 6 flights of stairs after waiting 7 times for the elevator....The a/c didn't work in the pool room so it was a sauna in there when the kids were sleeping... The breakfast that was offered was ok. Nothing to rave about. I paid right at 700 for 2 nights and I don't believe it was worth it...

Centrally located , lots of transients in the surrounding area, pool is blah its tiny ! Oh and the elevator service is HORRIBLE ! They have only one and it takes FOREVER to get to you oh and I must mention that it went out one of the days I was there and that was not good I am handicap and was on the 9th floor

The location of this hotel is excellent. That is the only thing it has going for it. Front desk staff is apathetic and unhelpful. There is no housekeeping unless requested, except no one tells you that at check in. Only one elevator working and half of the gym equipment is not operable. Also a ton of construction going on nearby so very noisy. Parking is $40 when you can park for $10 across the street. I would whether stay here again.

Started with check in and the girl with the caterpillar eyelashes couldn’t care if we were there or not. Then head to the elevator bank where we waited with 16 other people to get on the 1 elevator that was working. Make to our floor and get to the room, the room was dingy and worn, dishwasher was dirty on the front, and the floor looked dirty. Then to the bathroom, shower floor needed a good scrubbing - it had black marks and red. The drain cover was not screwed down and that is a surprise in the middle of a shower. Then to see the gunk under it. Disgusting! Bed was super soft and the a/c said 68 but more like 72 in the room. Let’s not forget they were out of yogurt and the other food was not cooked very well.

We only had a few complaints in regards to our stay at the Home2. The first one being the parking. We felt the parking was a bit expensive. We have a handicap, and we ended up saving some money by parking about a block and a half away at the Travis Hotel. Another complaint was the couch in our room was so filthy that we ended up putting a comforter over the top of it so that we felt comfortable sitting on it. Otherwise, our stay was good. The bed was comfortable, the shower water pressure was great, and the our rooms kitchen amenities were great. We ate out at local restaurants and didn't really utilize the continental breakfast. We felt the breakfast looked very limited in it's food selection.

1. System was down to check in when I arrived. 2. Room was dirty, bathroom had hairs, carpet and sofa full of stains. 3. Lost water in room in the morning and never came back. 4. Pool was not heated so freezing. What is the point of the pool then? Very disappointed from the Hilton brand. This is more of a 2 star hotel and an $70 a night type hotel not the price they charge.

Staff were all nice and friendly. The maid kept our room tidy and did a good job but the overall Condition of the room was poor. Our room had stains all over the carpet and couch. Even the desk chair had big stains. We were missing a shade blind on one window and windows were filthy.

There was drag racing outside from 9am or so to about 1:30am. There was NO WAY TO SLEEP. I was told at the front desk the next day, that this goes on every Sunday night. Although this is not the hotel's fault, I cannot see how all hotels in that area cannot petition the city, to get the police to stop that. It was so flipping nerve wracking. A city that relies on tourism, should be ashamed that they cannot reel in such noise pollution, air pollution from the cars and disturbance of the peace. Loud music and yelling accompanied this ruckus. It felt intimidating and scary. Please encourage your hotel, along with others to demand this be stopped. You owe it to your customers.

The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. Not being able to change the thermostat below 68 was a problem for me. I like it cold when I sleep. We were on the 4th floor. This isn't technically a hotel problem and I'm sure if we were higher up it wouldn't be a problem, but the noise from downtown San Antonio is loud. The other issue I had was no offer to stream the apps on the TV. I stayed at another Home2Suites and we were able to stream and lower the AC. This one we were not able to do either.

When you stay at Hilton you expect better guality. The room appearance is fine but i was woken up many times during the night by the noises of vehicles.The fold out sofa bed was all springs, not comfortable at all. Sofa Mattress was very dirty, lots of black stains, it was disgusting. Under the sofa i found big dead bug, cockroach. I complained to the front desk. Maintenance guy came , picked up the dead cockroach and flushed it in the toilet. He said: even if we give you other room it is not guaranteed that you are not going to find another bug. They sent us extra mattress cover. For the price I paid I could of stayed elsewhere.

The noise around the room was so loud that my Wife and I couldn't sleep. Then someone on the floor above Us was walking with lead feet that We were able to hear every step until 2:00 in the morning.

Very horrible first experience, I booked before hitting the road , once I got in town after driving 5 hours I was told they are over booked and weren’t sure how I was able to book . Once I booked it told me their was 7 rooms left staff at 3am told me they are Negative 2 and kept repeating they don’t know how I was able to book and lied to the 3rd party company stating that I “No Show” which is very odd if I was turned away due to being over booked even though I paid

The staff interactions I had were awesome. The guy at the front desk was very courteous and professional. I experienced a few issues with this stay. The staff did their best to help remedy the issues, however; there is only so much they could do. Some of the issues I experienced are: 1. When we arrived, the room we were assigned had not been cleaned yet. It appeared as though someone was still checked into the room. Not sure what happened there but the staff worked to get us another room so we didn't have to wait to figure out what was going on. 2. There are 3 elevators in the hotel and only 1 was in service. The other 2 were not working which caused a lot of inconvenience for all guests, especially in the morning when guests are trying to get breakfast and/or check out. 3. Our key card would not open the pool. The front desk staff opened it for us and explained that this sometimes happens and that they don't understand why. 4. On one of the days we had just come in from walking the riverwalk and got to our room on the 11th floor and shortly after the fire alarm went off. We obviously took it serious as anyone should and began walking down the stairs. All 11 flights. When we finally reached the first floor, the staff told us that they were just testing the system and that they had called into all of the rooms to inform guests of the test. The annoying part to me is that we had just walked in and walked roght passed the front desk staff and they didnt tell us about the test.

Great location in the middle of downtown SA. Perfect for those that have many plans and must rely on the service you would expect from a Hilton. i love the buildings old charm but you would not expect exceptional update inside. Staff was more than willing to help as soon as we stepped inside. Recommendations where made, combination where offered, and a genuine interest in our stay was share by several staff members. In short great little hotel in downtown SA, we will stay for third time.

My stay here was brief, just an overnight! The first inconvenient moment not having signs of where to park or an area for unloading that I could safely pull into so that I could get directions. The hotel is situated on a corner and the road near the only functional doors was a one way. They really need to request a loading area or have better signs for their valet. The parking garage across the street from Travis street park was awful and did not feel secure (this is not a hotel affiliated garage) this is where staff directed me so if anyone else is directed here I would take valuables out and make sure you have people with you and bring a mask the elevator in their stinks. The overnight staff didnt have a lot of knowledge about the fees for pets and I was told this would come out of the deposit I left. Which has yet to be returned and they are still trying to take $25 from my account. The entry doors were not operating and the side door through valet didn’t seem to open with my key card. Being that I was alone and brought a pet this was another inconvenience but also a safety issue. Two of the three elevators were broken and it was such a struggle for the one working elevator to move it seemed to take forever which does not work when you have a puppy to bring.

A lot of restaurants in walking distance. 5mins from the Riverwalk. Walgreens across the street. Very friendly staff. Rooms could use some updating and couch in the room could use some extra cleaning but overall not a bad stay. The beds were clean and ok hotel breakfast

Parking at the hotel was expensive, they recommended a lot around the corner for $20/day, but after parking, found numerous lots for $10/day, so was a little disappointed. Hotel was in a good location, most everything we did was walkable (the Alamo, river walk, etc.)

The hotel has an address on Navarro, but that entrance is controlled by key card - you cannot enter there until after you check in. The room was clean, but needed some TLC - the mirror frame in the bathroom was chipped, the light switch in the bathroom had a gap, and some other cosmetic issues needed attention. We had an accessible room, although we did ot request it. The hotel also says it's on the Riverwalk, but the Riverwalk is 3 blocks away. Short walk, but definitely misleading. The valet parking is by an independent company and has to be paid on a cell phone. I don't pay anything on my cell phone, and they don't accept cash. Definitely inconvenient! The breakfast offered wasn't available until 7am, but I had to be at the event I was attending at 7am. I've never known a hotel to have breakfast available so late, even on a weekend.

Front desk was quickly rude when he couldn’t find my reservation. Told me they were sold out, too bad. Then had to eat crow. Asked for room service when we went out. Never cleaned our rooms in 4 days. Breakfast was poorly stocked and not very good. But great location.

I would most definitely come back again. The customer service was awesome from valet, check in, breakfast, and housekeeping. Everyone is so friendly. The gentleman who worked breakfast did an amazing job for just him to be working it by his self. The rooms are spacious and updated, the only comment I have is the couch in the room needs updating but it was not a big issue to me. I loved the area, we were able to walk everywhere. We chose valet and it was worth the $45. It was very convenient being able to get out right in front of the hotel, especially with all the traffic.

This hotel needs a major renovation. It’s super run down. The breakfast was subpar at best. It was a cheap stay so I guess it is what it is. We won’t stay there again though.

I looked at a ton of properties to find what would best suit traveling with our kiddo for a fun winter break trip. I picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool, it had a dividing curtain between the bed and sleeper sofa and had a tub. The curtains are gone which meant it was hard to do anything when she went to bed at 8. The pictures aren’t updated. Also not updated- no bathtubs. The pool was very small and was murky and cold. Our kiddo went in once for 10 minutes and didn’t want to go in again. Total bust. If you’re picking the hotel for the indoor pool- I wouldn’t recommend it! The mattress on the pullout couch was the worst I have ever experienced. I was expecting bad but this was all coils. It hurt to even lie there to read stories. Thankfully our kiddo didn’t mind- it wouldn’t work for an adult. Lastly, valet parking is expensive and we found cheap parking right next door. You can see the garage across the street from the lobby- that’s not a complaint, just a tip! We valet’d our first day since we didn’t know the options but then parked elsewhere the other nights. We asked the front desk to ensure we wouldn’t be charged for all nights. They ensured us we wouldn’t be charged if our keys weren’t in there. They still charged us for all nights. Pros were definitely location, front desk and breakfast staff and breakfast itself. Texas-shaped waffles were a hit! We didn’t have a bad time and everyone was kind, which we really appreciated.

The room was great; roomy, clean, everything we needed. Bed quite comfortable. You can walk to the Alamo, the Riverwalk, museums, restaurants, so good location. Breakfast, eh. They serve from 6AM to 9AM. If you get there at 8, your choices are limited, and honestly on some of the items it didn't look like they had been replenished from running low the day before. Waffles were good and they have 3 machines so a few people can be served. The comfortable room and location make up for the breakfast.

Very clean, bed was comfortable and they had a real breakfast, eggs, sausage, hash browns. The only issue I had was the AC. The lowest temperature you could put it on was 68 degrees, which felt like 74 It would get warm at times.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. Room was spacious, clean, smelled good upon entering, and quiet on our floor. Only downside is that when we went down for breakfast (which we still had about 40min left) there was no more white milk. We asked the staff and he said "we are out". Unfortunately, my children were not able to eat cereal. Other breakfast items were okay, not great. We had full bellies, so at the end, is what mattered.
