Sejour agréable dans cette maison assez recente, propre et avec petite terrasse pour les repas. A 5 min de la plage et des commerces. Le salon/sejour/cuisine est spacieux avec une grande table. Peut etre que l'annonce sur abritel pourrait etre mise a jour car : la chambre avec les lits superposés contient seulement un lit simple en non 2 lits simples comme le mentionnait l'annonce, la 4e chambre avec lit double se situe au ss sol avec passage par le studio. Ce n'est pas hyper derangeant mais ce n'est pas ce que nous avions envisagé dans la distribution des couchages.

Avons passés un très agréable sejour et le beau temps était de la partie. Le fait d'etre à 15 minutes à pied de la plage est super agréable. Maison confortable, très bien équipée... Propriétaire réactif et agréable. Merci beaucoup !!!

Great property , located up the hill from the town within easy walking distance . Clean accommodation and a lovely property, ideal for our base for travelling to Bayeux , Caen, etc. Christophe very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Facilities were good and made for for a relaxing evening after a busy exploring day.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and its been wonderful each time. The house is very clean, spacious and equipped with modern appliances. The views from the house are fantastic, the city of Arromanches and the English Channel to the north and a pasture with grazing cows to the east. We took most of our meals on the picnic table outside the kitchen. All in all it was a wonderful stay and a great jumping off place for visit to the D-Day beaches and Normandy.

This was a well equipped property well suited to my needs for a quiet family gathering. 10mins walk from the beach and well equiped. A little unclear in description that property is on two levels. The main level has 3 rooms and living space. Lower level accessed from outside or though utility room is self contained with bedroom and small living area with sofa bed and kitchen sink. I found this setup quite suited my group.

Our stay was great. The house was even bigger than expected, nice bedrooms for everybody in our group of 7, great long dinnertable, a perfect accomidation for a bigger group or family. With enough bad- and bathrooms too. And perfectly clean and well equipped. Location near the landing beaches and easy walk to the beach in arromanches and the stores and bakery. It was everything we were looking for.

The town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing. We learned about the history of the town thru locals. Their part in D Day was new to me. It was easy to find the house the Taxi brought us right there. There was a lock box and we had the code so entry was easy. The house was not as clean as what I like. The utensils and coffee maker were not clean but we used them. There were limited towels left and I managed to find additional ones in the basement again they were not that clean. We had a major issue with the power and it was out for the whole day. I had left a text for the Property Manager but did not hear from him. I called when we got back at night and the house was in total darkness and a security alarm was going off. The person that I talked to was unaware of the issue we were having. She spoke English and was major in calling someone who came and reset the fuses and managed after awhile to get the alarm silenced. The one major asset was the ocean view that came with the Cottage and as I already mentioned the town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing and exploring it was an added adventure for our trip.

The property owner did a good job responding to my queries. Unfortunately, I would have to rate this as a sub-par stay. Not enough towels were available and quality was substandard. Little things like kleenex not provided were bothersome. Possibly some mold present in bathrooms. Glass ware appeared stained and dishes required washing before we felt comfortable using. On the plus side the location was great for what we wanted.

We zouden opgevangen worden door ene Valerie, (uur tevoren naar haar gebeld, zoals afgesproken) nou we moesten zelf naar de eigenaar mailen hoe we binnen konden komen. De vloeren waren gedweild dat was dan ook het enige wat gedaan was. Badkamers en slaapkamers lag heel veel stof met name op de plinten, keukenla van bestek hebben we zelf schoongemaakt, zo ook meerdere keukenkastjes, zoveel kruimels en viezigheid lag daarin. De nachtkastjes zijn nog nooit van hun plaats geweest, zoveel stof lag daar, we ontdekten dit toen we de telefoon oplader in het stopcontact wilden doen. Begrijp echt niet waar je zoveel schoonmaakkosten voor moet betalen. Het was schoner toen wij eruit gingen als bij aankomst, er hoeft nu alleen maar gestofzuigd en gedweild te worden. Het bankstel bezorgd je een hernia, zo doorgezakt en heel erg vies is de grote bank. De eethoekstoelen zijn om heel voorzichtig op te gaan zitten anders vallen ze uit elkaar. Als wij nog een keer die kant op gaan met het hele gezin dan gaan we echt op zoek naar een andere woning.

Sejour agréable dans cette maison assez recente, propre et avec petite terrasse pour les repas. A 5 min de la plage et des commerces. Le salon/sejour/cuisine est spacieux avec une grande table. Peut etre que l'annonce sur abritel pourrait etre mise a jour car : la chambre avec les lits superposés contient seulement un lit simple en non 2 lits simples comme le mentionnait l'annonce, la 4e chambre avec lit double se situe au ss sol avec passage par le studio. Ce n'est pas hyper derangeant mais ce n'est pas ce que nous avions envisagé dans la distribution des couchages.

Avons passés un très agréable sejour et le beau temps était de la partie. Le fait d'etre à 15 minutes à pied de la plage est super agréable. Maison confortable, très bien équipée... Propriétaire réactif et agréable. Merci beaucoup !!!

The town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing. We learned about the history of the town thru locals. Their part in D Day was new to me. It was easy to find the house the Taxi brought us right there. There was a lock box and we had the code so entry was easy. The house was not as clean as what I like. The utensils and coffee maker were not clean but we used them. There were limited towels left and I managed to find additional ones in the basement again they were not that clean. We had a major issue with the power and it was out for the whole day. I had left a text for the Property Manager but did not hear from him. I called when we got back at night and the house was in total darkness and a security alarm was going off. The person that I talked to was unaware of the issue we were having. She spoke English and was major in calling someone who came and reset the fuses and managed after awhile to get the alarm silenced. The one major asset was the ocean view that came with the Cottage and as I already mentioned the town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing and exploring it was an added adventure for our trip.

The property owner did a good job responding to my queries. Unfortunately, I would have to rate this as a sub-par stay. Not enough towels were available and quality was substandard. Little things like kleenex not provided were bothersome. Possibly some mold present in bathrooms. Glass ware appeared stained and dishes required washing before we felt comfortable using. On the plus side the location was great for what we wanted.

Great property , located up the hill from the town within easy walking distance . Clean accommodation and a lovely property, ideal for our base for travelling to Bayeux , Caen, etc. Christophe very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Facilities were good and made for for a relaxing evening after a busy exploring day.

Hat alles soweit gut gepasst. Wir konnten unseren Urlaub voll genießen. Es wäre nur schön gewesen wenn das mit der Mülltonne Bzw Mülltrennung besser beschrieben gewesen wäre, da wir vorher noch nie in Frankreich waren. Aber sonst war alle super und wir würden das Objekt sofort wieder mieten.

Villa vaste, très bien équipée impeccable pour un séjour en famille. Le lieu est calme, avec vue sur la mer et la belle campagne normande. Très bien située pour visiter les plages du débarquement et ses nombreux musées. L’hôte donne toutes les informations indispensables pour le séjour et reste joignable en cas de nécessité. Nous avons passé un excellent Week-end et nous recommandons chaudement la Villa de Christophe

The main level has 3 rooms and living space. Lower level accessed from outside or though utility room is self contained with bedroom and small living area with sofa bed and kitchen sink. I found this setup quite suited my group.

We zouden opgevangen worden door ene Valerie, (uur tevoren naar haar gebeld, zoals afgesproken) nou we moesten zelf naar de eigenaar mailen hoe we binnen konden komen. De vloeren waren gedweild dat was dan ook het enige wat gedaan was. Badkamers en slaapkamers lag heel veel stof met name op de plinten, keukenla van bestek hebben we zelf schoongemaakt, zo ook meerdere keukenkastjes, zoveel kruimels en viezigheid lag daarin. De nachtkastjes zijn nog nooit van hun plaats geweest, zoveel stof lag daar, we ontdekten dit toen we de telefoon oplader in het stopcontact wilden doen. Begrijp echt niet waar je zoveel schoonmaakkosten voor moet betalen. Het was schoner toen wij eruit gingen als bij aankomst, er hoeft nu alleen maar gestofzuigd en gedweild te worden. Het bankstel bezorgd je een hernia, zo doorgezakt en heel erg vies is de grote bank. De eethoekstoelen zijn om heel voorzichtig op te gaan zitten anders vallen ze uit elkaar. Als wij nog een keer die kant op gaan met het hele gezin dan gaan we echt op zoek naar een andere woning.

Our stay was great. The house was even bigger than expected, nice bedrooms for everybody in our group of 7, great long dinnertable, a perfect accomidation for a bigger group or family. With enough bad- and bathrooms too. And perfectly clean and well equipped. Location near the landing beaches and easy walk to the beach in arromanches and the stores and bakery. It was everything we were looking for.

Een prima uitval basis om tijdens de herdenkingsweek van D-day alle stranden en evenementen te bezoeken. Het appartement is ruim en mooi gelegen aan de rand van het dorp met een idyllisch uitzicht over de zee. Er is een mooi museum midden in een bruisend dorpje met veel eetgelegenheden. De Irene brigade heeft zich ook dit jaar weer van haar mooie kant laten zien.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and its been wonderful each time. The house is very clean, spacious and equipped with modern appliances. The views from the house are fantastic, the city of Arromanches and the English Channel to the north and a pasture with grazing cows to the east. We took most of our meals on the picnic table outside the kitchen. All in all it was a wonderful stay and a great jumping off place for visit to the D-Day beaches and Normandy.
