The property was in a great location. The host was lovely and we really enjoyed the breakfast. She goes out of her way to please her guests. We stayed in the loft which was quaint but we could hear the traffic somewhat. Also, access to the loft is via a rod iron circular staircase. We were fine using it, but you need to be in good shape to climb the stairs and carry bags up. Overall a lovely stay.

Such a beautiful a spacious place to stay. Not to mention it is literally located downtown so it’s perfect walking distance if you want to explore Ann Arbor downtown. Host was very sweet as well. Bedrooms and bathrooms are separate, and the dinning/living room is spacious and shared. If the weather is nice, there is a big shared balcony with tables and a beautiful view where you can enjoy the surrounding city. From what I could tell there are also private balconies with most or all the private rooms. However the best view is definitely the shared one.

Loved the location and setup. Super nice owner. Easy coming and going with code to room. Very quiet and nice house. Room we had was setup with comfortable king and queen beds, smart tv, chairs and desk, Keurig, small refrigerator and microwave, lots of snacks waiting for us, and soda and water in a beverage fridge down the hall near main kitchen area. We didn’t eat in the house since we’re out and about the whole time and so many amazing restaurants nearby. SUPER convenient for visiting University of Michigan. Central campus immediately across street. We were in town for my son to visit. Will stay here again in future.

We had a great time but parking can be a problem. Cramped space and hard to back out without hitting a guardrail directly behind. We came back to the hotel at 11pm and there were no parking spots available. There is no street parking around. We had to have a friend keep our car overnight and drop us off. Would recommend assigning limited spots to rooms rented to help avoid this.

I booked here based on favorable reviews. Apparently the reviewers weren't completely honest. If you enjoy staying at your Grandma's house that hasn't been cleaned in 10 years, then this place is for you. The owner is so sweet and so darling, but I don't know when our room or the common areas were last dusted or vacuumed. Although the location was ideal for our purposes, I wouldn't stay here again.

I really hate to write this, but given that I paid $375 Canadian for this, I feel that I need to inform other travellers. I am also very confused by previous reviews, which are what convinced me to stay at this place. I would say that the owners have given up - our room and the rest of the B&B looked like it hadn't been cleaned in... months? Years? Our towels were used and damp, we had ants, there was a shaggy unclean rug and we found pills on the floor, the screen and windows were filthy. The bathroom wasn't cleaned either with hair and other's people dirt still sitting in the shower. The mattress was very very old and just springs. It was just very dirty and insulting that they charge almost $400 CA for this. What I would want is some of my money back.

The room was very spacious with a dedicated bathroom, but it was very noisy because it was facing the street and the construction was going on next door. Overall, I will give it a 3 or 4 out of 10. If they can clean the tables once in a while, it will be great.

Loction perfect for central campus access at U-M. Room (suite actually) was clean, uniquely furnished, had kitchen facilities, and was QUIET, despite being on a major street. Management was friendly and unobtrusive. Fine breakfast, with custom hot items if requested. I will stay here again!

Being across from the central campus of the University of Michigan is the main reason to stay here. The building itself is somewhat rundown, there’s a lot of noise from passing cars, and breakfast prep made it impossible to sleep in. Feels like home! The loft is excellent, just be prepared to take your stuff through the spiral stairs. Affordable comparing with hotels in Ann Arbor. Owner and housekeeper are super nice!

I didn't stay. Unfortunately, I lost a very close friend that day. I called to tell the hotel that I wouldn't be there as a courtesy. I didn't ask for a refund. The man automatically assumed and immediately said in a very rude tone, "I'm not giving you your money back!" Well, after that I will never stay there and I will write a nasty review. I had a rough day and was trying to be polite so they wouldn't have to make the room up or whatever... His reaction was very rude. Hopefully he reads this! You should never assume (I work in sales) until you at least hear someone out. It's bad business and makes you look like an ass.

What an amazing find - Pat is a legendary B&B host and the place is so unique! Super comfortable beds, spacious yet cozy common areas. So nice to take some time to connect with other guests at breakfast. My son and I had a great stay and will definitely be back the next time we are visiting family in Ann Arbor!

I really liked this place but it’s not for everyone. Common areas are funky with collections of all kinds of interesting stuff. Interesting guests mostly connected with UMich in some way. Breakfast was fine for me, but if you’re looking for a fancy B&B spread, that’s not it. Very helpful and friendly proprietors.

What an amazing find - Pat is a legendary B&B host and the place is so unique! Super comfortable beds, spacious yet cozy common areas. So nice to take some time to connect with other guests at breakfast. My son and I had a great stay and will definitely be back the next time we are visiting family in Ann Arbor!
