I was able to get a room after losing power locally during an ice storm. Obviously, they were very busy with other people in similar situations, but the staff was very kind and understanding. We were bummed that they ran out of blankets for the pullout couch, but the kids were ok with just the sheet. The room was nice (though a bit banged up in places), and we enjoyed the breakfast. The tvs in the room are not smart, so my kids were bummed about not being able to log into our streaming subscriptions. The biggest disappointment was that the pool was too cold to enjoy. My son was shivering after about 10 minutes, and his lips were blue after about 20 minutes. We were glad to have a place with heat and electricity, but this was not the getaway that I was hoping for.

We had a great overnight stay in a studio suite. Staff was friendlynand helpful, room was really clean and fresh and the pool was great! Cozy family friendly "Go Blue" decor in the lobby and a good breakfast bar. The beds were suprisingly comfortable! Would definitely stay again.

I loved the spacious rooms and the kitchen area in each room. I also loved the fact that they had great dining options in the breakfast buffet. Housekeeping may need to pay a little bit more attention to detail ...there was a used towel in our room, the glasses didn't look like they were clean... there was a lip stain on two of them. There was hair on the sheets.

The suite was fine. The overhead light in master toilet/shower room did not work. We told the front desk a few times but no one came to fix it. We had to shower and use the toilet in complete pitch black. It was very annoying. Other than that the place was just as expected.

Basic two room suite. Sleeps 8 but only has dining space for 2 at a bar in the kitchen. It was pretty well stocked but our paper towel roll had only one sheet on it. That's simply lazy.The outlets were loose and it was difficult to keep phone charging from lamp on nightstand. Hand soap spigot in king bath is broken off so soap squirted all over my dress. Hotel is also a bit noisy from other rooms. We were on the top floor and could hear conversations from across the hall. If you are a light sleeper this is not for you. Breakfast was tasty and with more options than a Hampton Inn. Beds were comfortable. Sofa was not. Pillows were great. We ordered from DoorDash and had some great sushi. We did not turn on the televisions so I can't comment on selections.

The showers are not in best shape. You will have a hard time showering in the unit. Our first room had very little water pressure that I end up drying my hair and ask for room change. New room was slightly better but again water pressure was so low you would not feel clean.

Property seemed to have only one person working the evening shift. And when we needed towels for the pool we had to go to the front desk to get them, same with the sheets for the pull out bed. Hotel advertised breakfast included but we were leaving at 7:15am and was told breakfast wasn't available till 7:30am. The bedroom pocket door was broken and we were not able to shut it. Not a bad hotel just a little run down

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived for check in just before 5:00 pm. We had to wait around for a bit until someone showed up. Other than that, check in went smoothly. Everything about this hotel is great. As a frequent visitor to the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, we have stayed at several other hotels and Staybridge is by far the best one we have stayed in. Will definitely stay here again next time. A big shout out to Elizabeth who was the kitchen staff on duty on the evening of March 24. She was so helpful and cheerful and made us feel welcome. Housekeeping was on point in making sure the room is clean everyday.

It was a nice quiet, clean, and comfortable room with a full fridge and kitchen. There were ample outlets to charge all of our electronic devices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Having just one rep at the front desk after 11 pm posed a problem. For some reason our hotel card keys were deactivated. I believe when the cards were issued to us at check-in, the rep only set access for two nights rather than the three nights we were staying, so we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated. There was no one there to help us for about 10 - 12 mins. The rep did put up a sign at the front desk that they would away, but I only expected someone to be away for couple of mins. Apparently, the rep had to leave to pick up his food. Our room wasn't cleaned on our 3rd (last) night. When I asked the front desk, the rep said that it is cleaned only upon request. I told the rep that it was cleaned the 2nd day without requesting it, so I assumed it would be cleaned everyday. The rep said that when we checked-in, we should've been informed that the room will only be cleaned upon request. I don't recall that notice, nor was it posted. Other than these two issues, it was great place to stay.

Service was literally the worst. It took 4 hours to get checked in due to the front desk clerk Joey not knowing how to do his job. He lacked knowledge on how to handle the situation and we literally lost hours of sleep. He said it was my card at first then hotels.com, then he said it was the system and finally said we had to pay $100 which we did out of frustration ; it was 4am and to top it off the tv didn’t work and house keeping harassed us the next morning at 10am despite our check out time being at noon.

All hotel staff we came into contact with were absolutely wonderful! Beds and pillows were so comfortable! Towels were so soft! Everything we needed was in our room. It was missing a remote control for the tv but the front desk had one to our room in less than 2 minutes. Breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel. If all Staybridge hotels are like this, we will be staying at them for all of our trips!
