From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and the most genuinely helpful staff you could ever wish for. Every single local team member goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed, cared for, and completely at home. The hotel itself is charming, peaceful, and perfectly designed for a boutique experience… intimate, elegant, and full of character. The food deserves a special mention: every meal was delicious, and clearly prepared with care and passion. And then there’s the beach… simply endless. Pristine, quiet, and breathtakingly beautiful. Sri Lankan Reef Villa is an experience filled with warmth, exceptional service, amazing food, and a stunning beachfront setting.

I am so glad we booked Reef to finish off our Sri Lankan holiday - it was absolutely perfect from the huge, luxurious suites to the exceptional service and food. Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef.
