Very peaceful place to stay and save time to look around the park. I liked the lodge and the facilities provided except for parking. If you reach late, you hardly find any spot. Bed were done well, small bathroom but good running hot water and ample towels. Coffee machine didn’t work though not fan of coffee. Location wise best place to stay if you are doing both loops and teton too. I enjoyed my stay.

The property itself is quaint and rustic. We saw Elk and even a black bear right in the village. The general store had all the necessities and great coffee.

Missed the booking info saying no AC but fan was provided and it cooked down at night. Also didn’t realize there are several lodge buildings and 2nd floor is only accessible by 2 flights of stairs. Husband had to bring up everything because I have mobility issues. An alarm went off and on outside most of the night. My husband thinks it may have been a septic system issue alarm. Also registration is a stand alone building without the lodge name on it. Only says Registration and many campers mistake it for their registration area but it is only for lodges. Tiny shower with very small shower head and there is no hair dryer.

Place seemed very tired even though we stayed on opening day. Elk lodge had a bad smell throughout. NO wifi anywhere not even in registration office even though it is documented that there is WIFI available there. Beds were small (2 doubles) and room seemed to have been readied in a hurry. Restaurant was highlight. Lodge at Old faithful would be my choice next time.

We stayed at Grant Village while visiting Yellowstone because it was conveniently located. The Lake House restaurant was at a perfect location, however it had less options for food. It was perfect to have a general store and Gas station in Grant village, the general store had a fast serve restaurant and was well stocked with items needed for stay. We did not like the fact that the room had no microwave, even no microwave in the common area of Lodge. We had to go all the way to Camper services to warm our food. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean however they both could be little more spacious. No housekeeping services were provided even tough we called the day before. The third day they left some towels in room but did not clean the room or make the bed. I expect that being a lodge and with the price paid this should have been taken care of.

The rooms were filthy. There was someone else's hair in the corners of the bathroom floor. Stray hairs on the "clean" towels. Stains on the carpet and comforters. It felt so dirty that we even checked to make sure there weren't bed bugs before we went to sleep.

Staff is very friendly!! Hotel itself greatly in the need of a deep cleaning. In our room the bathroom was filthy, someone needs to go in concentrate on cleaning the floors including the base boards! Table with two little chairs we had to move to accommodate our needs, carpet had not been vacuum in a long while, hair everywhere!

We stayed here for the convenience of being inside the National Park however the room we got was a disaster. The tub was absolutely filthy, there was blood on the shower curtain. The fan that came with the room had months worth of dust accumulated on it and the mini fridge and outlet didn't work. I'm not a picky traveler but for the price they are charging for these rooms the least they can do is keep them clean.

Room was tiny but adequate. The rules of housekeeping services weren’t explained at check in. On the second day there we believed housekeeping skipped our room. I called the morning of the third day to tell them that we were skipped and to request more toilet paper. I was told then that housekeeping comes every other day. Wasn’t a big deal for us, I requested the TP and was told it would be brought during the day. We arrived back to the room in the evening, still no TP. I called again, this time I was told that you need to request housekeeping services the night before if you want them to come. They did bring the TP right then as we were in dire need. My advice to visitors at this hotel is to remember to call the front desk every night to tell them your needs for the following day. In regards to breakfast, get the buffet. If you order off the menu you will wait forever to get your food. Just get the buffet then get on your way exploring Yellowstone!

It would have been helpful knowing beforehand that you need to check in at the Registration building and that it is not one big lodge, but several smaller lodges. We drove around for a while until we decided to go into the Registration building and ask. Our room was not as clean as we would like it to be, mainly the bathroom. You need to make reservations for dinner at the restaurant, but breakfast and lunch, you do not need one. Be aware, if you are on the ground floor, the people above you sound like elephants running around.

It is so fun to stay in the park. The park employees are all super nice and helpful. The room is adequate with beds, bathroom and a fridge. Cleanliness was subpar. Our room had a used towel hanging behind the bathroom door. The floor of the bathroom hadn’t been swept very well either. No tv or WiFi in the rooms. Wasn’t a big deal for us as we spent as much time exploring as we possibly could. It’s a fine place to rest your head, but don’t expect a 5 star hotel.

Generally a great stay. I will just bring up issues since those are informative for both potential guests and management. Some small issues, such as not having daily cleaning, and when they did service the room three days in, they did not fill all the dispensers (shampoo, shower gel) nor give more toilet paper despite us being 2/3 through our last roll. I called asking for more TP and they said they would send more over but that didn’t happen. The house cleaners start cleaning before nine am. Also the toilet was reluctant to flush the whole time. I think a remodel where sinks are outside of shower/toilet area would be great and an update to two queens as even with small people doubles are a bit cozy.

I knew that there was no AC, no TV etc. but for as expensive as it is to stay in the park at this location, there is no excuse for a dirty room. We left a day early because it was gross. Canyon lodge is a much better option for staying in the park.

Grant Village is in a beautiful area. There are multiple lodges as well as two restaurants nearby. There’s also a general store with a good selection of souvenirs, a café, and a bit of groceries. There’s a gas station nearby. The rooms were nice, a little rustic, but we like that. They were very clean. The showers are tiny so it might be a tight squeeze for some folks. It was great staying in the park, we recommend heading up the east side of the loop first to avoid all the heavy traffic around Old Faithful in the morning. We had a fantastic time and we were lucky enough to see several bears, not near our lodge, but out in the park.

We stayed on the first floor and oh boy the lodge is made out of paper. We could hear every step from the second floor that kept us awake. No internet anywhere, forget about cellular.

The beds are not as advertised. The " queen" is barely bigger than a double and the "double" bed is barely bigger than a single. Also they are the smallest pillows. Take the time and dont stay here and drive to another hotel.

Clean! Staff are very helpful and friendly. I was not able to turn on the shower water and called the front desk. They send the service staff immediately to check for the problem. Restaurant is decent and provides well cooked food. Don’t forget to check out the most beautiful sun set and sunrise by the lake.

The lodge was clean and comfortable and the staff were very attentive. My only suggestion would be to provide better Wi-Fi. Cell service is spotty and being able to communicate using Wi-Fi would be useful.

Great place to rest when not exploring Yellowstone. Views of the lake are beautiful. Staff at the lodge was not the most friendly we encountered on this long trip. BUT, staff at the Lake House restaurant on site was AMAZING. The tacos, chips and margaritas were so good and perfect casual atmosphere for my family after a long day in the car. The restaurant staff was so friendly and it made our stop in Grant Village awesome! The room itself was clean, lodge felt very safe, beds were comfy, would definitely stay again.

Best thing about this place was the way out. Receptionist rude and droll on check in. No information given. Room dirty and smelled. No room to swing a cat. Dusty, smelly, no AC, noisy kids running around outside and walls paper thin. Don’t get me started about dinner. There was about 10 empty tables but we waited 45 minutes to be seated. I even informed the waiters I was T1 diabetic and needed some food and they didn’t seem to care! We were told we could sit at the bar - didn’t know if I was sat in my laundry cupboard or at a hotel bar? Very small and poky with no view. We waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive thank god it was average atleast. Never stay here - glad it was only for 1 night.

We arrived early evening . Checked in and had to call toilet was overflowing when flushed. They brought us a plunger. Husband plunged helped some but we did not have use of toilet first night it would not flush. Also we had to unplug mini frig it was making a very loud motor sound and it was a foot from headboard of bed. Had to unplug to sleep so we had no frig for the night. Our room was within feet of the entrance door off parking lot so with no AC windows open we could hear people coming and going all night both nights we stayed., we called front desk early morning to tell them toilet didn’t work and refrigerator needed replacement.. also blow dryer did not work. We let them know we were leaving out early.. 7:00am and would be gone all day so they could fix and replace items. We returned at 4:30pm and nothing had been done not even housekeeping. The bath towels that mopped up the overflow of the toilet were still on the ground in the bathroom. Nasty! We called FDesk immediately and they finally sent maintenance. I chased down a housekeeper and got them to come get the towels, replace with clean and she also found me a new blow dryer. We had a 5:45 dinner reservation so we had to leave. They found some kind of metal brush in the toilet.. had to be from previous guess and replaced the refrigerator. So they did finally fix stuff but it was a bad experience for our two night stay.

Husband plunged helped some but we did not have use of toilet first night it would not flush. Also we had to unplug mini frig it was making a very loud motor sound and it was a foot from headboard of bed. Had to unplug to sleep so we had no frig for the night. Our room was within feet of the entrance door off parking lot so with no AC windows open we could hear people coming and going all night both nights we stayed., we called front desk early morning to tell them toilet didn’t work and refrigerator needed replacement.. also blow dryer did not work. The lodge we stayed in is very nice. Room is comfortable. It can comfortably sleep 2 but a bit small for 4 due to only having one small window. The beds are on the soft side, firmer can be better. The location is super convenient, just near the south entrance, and close to nearby attractions. West Thumb scene was awesome with the colorful hot springs and Lake Yellowstone.

Grant Village is right at the center of the park, easy to park and convenient to explore the park. Hotel is some steps away from the lake so you can enjoy morning and sunset beautifully. There is no Wi-Fi or even phone signal for T-Mobile which we found annoying at first but loved it later as we could enjoy the park more rather than opened the phone all the time. As there is no Wi-Fi, it is better that you plan your trip in advance. There is no room service every day though we stayed for 4 nights. Restaurants are regularly booked but the service is quick. The food is varied and friendly staff.

Very peaceful place to stay and save time to look around the park. I liked the lodge and the facilities provided except for parking. If you reach late, you hardly find any spot. Bed were done well, small bathroom but good running hot water and ample towels. Coffee machine didn’t work though not fan of coffee. Location wise best place to stay if you are doing both loops and teton too. I enjoyed my stay.

Great area, close enough to Old Faithful. Wonderful views of Yellowstone Lake. West Thumb geyser basin, 2 miles from the hotel, was surprisingly one of our favorite things to see during our stay. Food was good, though a bit pricey. Overall, would highly recommend staying.

Nice rooms, beach area, grocery stores, friendly staff. Close to the Lower loop of Yellowstone National Park, which was a must for us to also take in The Teton National Park and Jackson Hole as well. The mattresses and pillows was great for sleeping as well.

Acceptable accommodations since it was in Yellowstone Park. Restaurant had changed menu to "Fish" restaurant and even though it was very nice with good service, left little for non-fish eaters to choose from.

Good place to stay to visit old faithful and the lower geyser basins. The restaurant there was excellent Food was good and view of lake Yellowstone even better. Picked up a screw in our tire and the guy at the service station fixed it in less then 45 min. Wish I remember his name he was really nice and helped us get back on the road again.

Great place to rest when not exploring Yellowstone. Views of the lake are beautiful. Staff at the lodge was not the most friendly we encountered on this long trip. BUT, staff at the Lake House restaurant on site was AMAZING. The tacos, chips and margaritas were so good and perfect casual atmosphere for my family after a long day in the car. The restaurant staff was so friendly and it made our stop in Grant Village awesome! The room itself was clean, lodge felt very safe, beds were comfy, would definitely stay again.

Small room. Very bleak and mediocre for the price. I’ve had bigger showers in an RV. Worst thing is the lack of dining facilities. If you can’t get a reservation at the one restaurant, you’re stuck with tacos or whatever you can find at the mini mart.

The room was satisfactory but the food in the dining hall was not the best. We had made reservations and were seated at the right time. The food was mediocre at best and when you are paying $178 (tip included) I think the expectations were a little higher. We also felt a little rushed despite there being open tables around us. Wasn't terrible but didn't feel worth the cost.
