Spacious room, heating worked. The remote receptionist was very helpful over the phone and by message and responded quickly. Beautiful views. Very basic accommodation. Hard to find, as it sits remotely in the backyard of the reception office. Not well marked or lit. Really a budget option. Could be so much more with better directions and a bit of love. No food availability in town after 8pm in winter. We had to walk the mile and catch the train to Interlaken. Walk to train in approximately 10-12 minutes.

The inn is situated 10 mins walk from Wildersil station, which brings you to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, which are key spots to visit in the Bernese Oberland. One tip is to take the 105 bus which is 5 mins away to reach Interlaken West, which is the busy part of Interlaken and to take trains towards Bern and Zurich. The inn is spacious and clean with essential items available. It comes with breakfast which is a great cost saver given the high prices in Switzerland. The inn does not have elevators, which is a bit inconvenient to bring luggages up the stairs, but it's just for the check-in and out process. The room opens up to the valleys towards Grindelwald, with the snow-capped mountains at the background, which is a breathtaking view. Overall, it is a great stay, no frills and worth its price.

This review is for the Jungfrau Hotel Annex, a separate two-story building from the main hotel, located about 500 meters away. Our Annex room was clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were especially nice. There is no elevator. The view of the Alps was beautiful. The WiFi was effective and reliable. There is no staff on site. The self check-in system was cumbersome, and there were no check-out instructions available...we ended up driving to the main hotel to return the room key and get a receipt for our stay. This wouldn't be my first choice for lodging in Wildiswil, but I would stay there again.

Our only negative experience was finding the building with our rooms. The original instructions missed an important fact. After wandering we returned to the check-in desk and got proper directions. After that everything was wonderful. The description on Hotels.com didn’t mention breakfast which was fabulous.

Gostei muito da localização do hotel, em uma pequena cidade próxima a Interlaken, mas com bons restaurantes e supermercados. Estávamos de carro e uma vantagem foi o estacionamento gratuito. Fomos dirigindo para os vilarejos de Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Lago Blausee. O quarto é espaçoso. No banheiro, achei o espaço do chuveiro apertado. Tem máquina para fazer café e secador de cabelo.

Hotel Annex is in a great location with lots of parking available. The best thing about this hotel are the beds; super comfy, plush, and supportive. The room is a bit spartan but clean and everything worked. Our bathroom needed a bit of work; there was a black something on the shower wall and in the grout. And the showerhead was mounted at about 5 feet up. There was nothing special about the breakfast; basic cheeses, sliced meat and cereals. The only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon. Overall, I would stay here again just because the price was right; it was a good value. The dinners at the restaurant are very good and I recommend eating there. And the ice cream is from a local boutique ice cream maker, and was quite good.

Alpine Inn is a 6-7 minutes walk from the main Jungfrau Hotel near residential homes. The cleanliness of the motel surfaces and bed is acceptable but since it is a ground floor room with a balcony area, we found many bugs, spider, and ants crawling around the floor and ceiling especially at night. Also, the motel is very old renovated with windows were fully openable from the outside which is a security concern and some moldy flooring in bathroom. The shower is small and the head is also very short and hard to use for a tall person. The staff is very accommodating and also the breakfast is very fresh and has many choices.

The property is closer to the train station and has great views. The condition of the property is terrible. The bathroom drainage does not work properly and it collects water in the shower area. Not much variety in the breakfast either. Eggs and bacon are kept in the same food warmer which makes it hard for people who don’t eat bacon, can’t eat egg as well.

The hotel was functional, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel room did not have air condition and it was hot during our stay so that is something I overlooked when booking. Just had to open a balcony door to get some airflow. There is not many dining options in the area that are within walking distance. Although the hotel is centrally located with about an 8 minute walk to the train station and a bus stop. The included breakfast was good and convenient.

The panoramic rooms offer amazing views and the hotel is in a wonderful location. The rooms are reasonably furnished and well maintained. The Continental breakfast had a good variety and was well laid. They helped us with storage before and after the check-in and check-out.

We booked to stay in the hotel's annex that was a five minute walk from the main hotel. On arrival at the annex there is a self check in that allocates your room. The room was large and had everything you would expect to find i.e kettle, safe etc. We were staying for four days and the room was cleaned each day. Breakfast was served in a nearby building. Located in Wilderswil just outside of Interlaken, it was ideally placed to see the local attractions. Would I stay again and recommend this hotel, most definately.

It’s fine if you want a basic hotel. It did look far nicer in the images online as the reality is that the rooms are more like a motel. The views are nice and the check-in was easy, though.

Best part was the Views which were astounding from the Inn. However, the receptionist were not very welcoming & harsh in response even on non busy days. They have separate hotels under one name & were asked to do self checking which was not easy. We had our room safe non functional & was asked to deposit stuff at the other property which wasn’t convenient. We loved the view & the quiet.

The inn is situated 10 mins walk from Wildersil station, which brings you to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, which are key spots to visit in the Bernese Oberland. One tip is to take the 105 bus which is 5 mins away to reach Interlaken West, which is the busy part of Interlaken and to take trains towards Bern and Zurich. The inn is spacious and clean with essential items available. It comes with breakfast which is a great cost saver given the high prices in Switzerland. The inn does not have elevators, which is a bit inconvenient to bring luggages up the stairs, but it's just for the check-in and out process. The room opens up to the valleys towards Grindelwald, with the snow-capped mountains at the background, which is a breathtaking view. Overall, it is a great stay, no frills and worth its price.

The hotel was functional, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel room did not have air condition and it was hot during our stay so that is something I overlooked when booking. Just had to open a balcony door to get some airflow. There is not many dining options in the area that are within walking distance. Although the hotel is centrally located with about an 8 minute walk to the train station and a bus stop. The included breakfast was good and convenient.

The panoramic rooms offer amazing views and the hotel is in a wonderful location. The rooms are reasonably furnished and well maintained. The Continental breakfast had a good variety and was well laid. They helped us with storage before and after the check-in and check-out.

The property is just a walking distance to the main hotel, and train stations. PICTURE PERFECT surround sceneries. From waking up in the morning...window and patio facing east with such climatic view. The walk to the train stations has breath taking views as well.

Hotel Annex is in a great location with lots of parking available. The best thing about this hotel are the beds; super comfy, plush, and supportive. The room is a bit spartan but clean and everything worked. Our bathroom needed a bit of work; there was a black something on the shower wall and in the grout. And the showerhead was mounted at about 5 feet up. There was nothing special about the breakfast; basic cheeses, sliced meat and cereals. The only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon. Overall, I would stay here again just because the price was right; it was a good value. The dinners at the restaurant are very good and I recommend eating there. And the ice cream is from a local boutique ice cream maker, and was quite good.

The property is closer to the train station and has great views. The condition of the property is terrible. The bathroom drainage does not work properly and it collects water in the shower area. Not much variety in the breakfast either. Eggs and bacon are kept in the same food warmer which makes it hard for people who don’t eat bacon, can’t eat egg as well.

Very comfortable and clean room. The breakfast was wonderful, with a good selection of foods. And the view of the Jungfraujoch from the room was amazing! Highly recommend.
