Beautiful hotel close to town, couldn’t fault it. Everything was lovely, bed was so comfortable, bathroom was large and included a bath, staff were friendly, and free car parking .

This was a very good find indeed. It's centrally located to walk to all the good pubs and food in Orange. It's very quiet but most appealing of all is it is nicely designed and presented - it feels far more like a luxury small hotel that anything else. Nice artworks and decor, quiet rooms with every mod-con that you could need. A very good continental brekky delivered to your room in a well presented bag with everything you might need including French press coffee grounds and fresh juice, jams etc.,The rooms are very well appointed and very comfortable for a two person stay - we were in a King room and it was just perfect. This is a lot better than most other places around and I've stayed in Orange perhaps 20x. Enjoyed the short stay immensely - an easy walk to what you need in the town itself and parking / access is a breeze. Will be back.

Would not stay here again. Only nice things I can say about this property is the late check in and the comfortable mattress. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom and I had to open the window both nights of my stay and had to listen to motorists hooning up and down the nearby Main Street, had the worst night sleep and left this venue with a chronic migraine, there were stains on the bed head in the bedroom, there was stains in the bathtub, the silver fittings around the bathtub were chipped, inside of my kettle was scorched within an inch of its life. Coffee did not taste right as a result and when I was a little late checking out of my room due to making multiple trips to my car with luggage, I get a call from reception telling me to get out of my room.

We stayed in Room 214. A very small room at the back of the hotel. The room is not in good condition. The shutters are broken on the windows, and have to be adjusted individually. No block out curtains. The exterior windows are covered in cobwebs. The bathroom is dated and had a strong smell of sewage. All the fixtures have seen better days. The bed was comfortable, the location is good and the light breakfast a good start to the day. Wouldn't stay again.

Great place to stay in Orange. The staff are very welcoming and professional. The hotel is immaculately clean and well looked after. We walked to the Botanic Gardens and the hotel is just a skip away from other parks, shopping, pubs and some very good restaurants. Would stay there again if we’re visiting Orange.

My room was immaculate, the breakfast was great for my dietary requirements, the building and room felt very safe and secure for a person staying by themself. Easy walk to restaurants, cafes and a great little wine bar. Staff were amazing and very welcoming on arrival and departure. Thank you!!!

We had a suite downstairs with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge and it can be rented as a 2 bedder. Well stocked kitchen,a well thought out breakfast bag, comfy bed. Lovely staff, well located. l would def recommend this one.

I have stayed here before - this was the first time in their White Room - the apartment-style room. This was such a pleasure! Lovely comfortable bed & sofas,huge bathroom with everything you could want and a well-stocked kitchen with great quality appliances. I didn't want to go to work - and in fact on one day didn't - they came to me! A great place for a super relax - or even work if you have to!!

I overwhelmed by their such a good customer service. I left remote control somehow and owner of hotel contacted me to let me know. He posted witb Australia express post and received next day. I asked him whether want me to pay however he posted with his expenses. I will definitely come back if i am around Orange. I really appreciated his kindness and attitude to treat customer.

Great location, amenities all excellent and a very comfortable bed. Fantastic dining options & great cafes are within easy walking distance. Breakfast provisions are a thoughtful and appreciated bonus. Our only suggestion would be to provide a subscription log in for a streaming service on the smart TV.

The courtesy (care package) breakfast i found in my room was an excellent touch. Everything was spotless and the location made it easy to walk down into the main drag of town. The soap was amazing also and finally a hotel with more than 1ply toilet paper!

After staying at de Russie I would never stay anywhere else in Orange. Our room was much larger and well appointed than expected and the bed was extremely comfy. I have never slept so well at a hotel. The reception area was beautiful, and the provided breakfast is so thoughtfully and tastefully done. I would normally go out for breakfast but there was no need with all the options provided daily in the room. The attention to detail and the level of customer service made for an exceptional stay. The owners and staff should be very proud.
