We loved our stay at Moon Ocean. Was happy the pool was still open as it was very warm out. I think it is closed Nov-April. All the staff we interacted with were great. I especially enjoyed talking to the lady working in the restaurant / bar. She was so friendly and her English is amazing. I am sorry I forgot her name. :( If you have a car this area is perfect for your stay.

Would recommend & stay again. We stayed 7 nights which was perfect. Because we stayed for 6 nights, the bfast was a reduced rate for us (¥1100 vs ¥2200). Free washing machines & dryer room on each floor (BYO detergent). Great pool, especially for toddlers. Our nearly two year old could stand up safely & play. Pool open 9am-7pm with a Life guard, lots of safe pool toys. Recommend a rental car to visit the island. Public bus is a 15min walk away. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on 5th floor, it had 2 bathrooms with showers & an additional separate toilet as well. Comfy beds, lots of towels, curtains kept room dark. No kitchen utensils when we arrived, but was available on request inc dish cloths, dish detergent, pots, pans, plates etc We requested our room be serviced 3 times (bins, sheets, towels) & it was always done to perfection. Staff were so friendly & helpful, always acknowledged even when your just walking past. Only down side was the ‘boy racer’ traffic noise at night from time to time. Revving engines. Mall across road with supermarket, massage, kids play area (L2), shopping, chemist & restaurants. Cafe next door at bottom of office block has half decent coffee. Nice beach 15min walk away. The price of our stay was worth it for the large space the apartment afforded us compared to hotel rooms.

Nice hotel with good location for us. Room was very spacious - little more space for clothes would have been nice. Big windows in the room and ocean view. Very ftiendly staff. We explored the hole island and the location was good for that. Not mymuch restaurants near by but with car it was no problem. Nice pool and little beach quite near.

３泊4日でお世話になりました。子供が小さいためミルクや離乳食のためにキッチン付き、寝室別の部屋を素泊まりで利用しましたが総合的にとても良かったです。建物に古さはあるものの、全体的にとても清潔に手入れされていました。事前にベビーベッドや食器類、ベビーカー（A型、メリッサというブランドでした。操作性があまりよくありませんが、短期間では充分でした。）の手配をお願いし、チェックイン時にはベビーカー（フロント受け取り）以外は全て部屋にセットしていただけていました。各フロアに洗濯機と乾燥機もあり、大変便利でした。３泊以上の特典で下着類のランドリーサービス、１階レストランでの朝・昼・夕ごとのフリードリンクとサービスも充実していました。ホテルのプールは遊具などなくシンプルですが、50cmのキッズエリアもあり、またとても綺麗に管理されていました。子供用の浮き輪や浮具、タオルは無料貸し出しあり。またプール脇にとても大きな温水ジャグジーがあり、これがとても気持ちよかったです。１階のレストランではグリル料理がいただけ、全メニューテイクアウト可能でした。徒歩数分圏内にはスーパー、ドラッグストア、西松屋があり便利です。亀そばのしまやさんもありとても美味しかったです。（ベビーカー入店可）また利用したいと思います。

We were visiting family, who live in Naha, but I booked this place in Ginowan because I wanted a spacious room for myself and my adult children. We definitely got a spacious room!! It had 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 showers, and a bathtub with a view of the ocean. And a kitchen! Convenience wise it's really quite well located. There's a large shopping mall right next to it, with a couple of eating options, conbini, and department stores. There's a beach a 1/2 mile down the road. There are a few restaurants right behind it (can I recommend 炭ト飯晩餐 right down the street? An izakaya, but FANCY). From Naha it's not super convenient, and with all our bags our relative had to rent a van😩! We got by with our basic Japanese pretty well. Breakfast buffet was pretty good actually. Biggest downside: not enough outlets for 4 connected people, no outlets near beds. But there's a department store next door to buy extension cords 😅 We love Okinawa so much, even being there on the hottest day in the world can't dampen our enthusiasm. We will be back soon! (if we don't stay at Moon Ocean Ginowan, it's only to be closer to our relatives! But maybe I'll just rent a van and take the leap to driving).

I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this hotel and our stay. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, even with the language barrier. The entire hotel was pristine clean and the views were amazing! The only slightly less than perfect thing was the firmness of the mattress but my husband loved it, so that’s more personal preference.

The room was very spacious. The view was very nice from the bathroom and living room. There was also a balcony that you can sit outside and watch the sunset. Very good sized refrigerator. They have a microwave and a water kettle that can heat up water to make tea or coffee. They also have a stove. You can ask the front desk for the cooking utensils. Washer and dryer available for free on multiple floors. You just have to buy the detergent from the front desk if paying cash or restaurant if paying by card. The pool looks very nice. The hot tub was very nice. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is about 25 minutes from the Kadena Air Base and about 20 minutes from the airport. The only thing is that there are bicycles available for rent (not affiliated with the hotel) but you can’t rent them if you don’t have a Japan number because they will try to send you a code to register but the text message won’t go through.

Staff were not friendly. The one stationed at entrance was just watching you moving suitcases. The reception guys were impolite, mo greetings, with smoke odor from his mouth while talking, not friendly. The guy at the pool, just concentrated on packing those towel on the table, didn't aware of no towels on shelf, and didnt proactively provide towels for those coming up from water and ready to leave. Comparing to the culture of Japanese, this hotel is far below standard.

Prima verzorgd ontbijt en super vriendelijke staff. De kamers zijn prima en ruim. De staff op de receptie is uiterst vriendelijk en heel erg behulpzaam . We hadden per ongeluk wat weggegooid maar ze hebben uiteindelijk de plastic zak achterhaald en toen hadden we gelukkig ons waardevol item weer terug. Absolute aanrader om te verblijven.
