Bait and switch, and they still charged full price. None of the listing photos are of the apartments we were given. The advertisement showed a specific apartment, with specific rooms, specific finishes, and a specific look. We checked that listing again after we arrived. The photos do not match this unit. Not a different angle. Not a room they had updated. A different apartment from the one in the ad. We paid for four nights in Milan and were charged the full amount despite them not giving us the room we booked upon arrival. No partial refund. If the listing had matched the unit, this review would be about small annoyances. It does not match. That is the booking. At booking the form asked smoking or non-smoking. I specifically selected non-smoking. That was not a casual preference buried in a note. It was the choice they asked me to make. The apartment we were given is saturated with old smoke. It smells like it has been smoked in for decades. You do not need anyone to be smoking in front of you to know it. The smell is in the unit. It hits when the door opens. It sits in the fabric. It does not air out overnight.
