Notre chambre très bien décorée, le lit confortable et douillet, la chambre de bain est aussi très propre . Le décor extérieur immense et enchanteur ,nous sommes entourés de de gazon arbres et de fleurs . de belles tables et chaises sont installés près d'une piscine spa . Tout près de North-Hatley qui est magnifique .

What a beautiful area! We stopped here on our way to Quebec, and now we plan to stop back just to visit North Hatley. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the grounds and the hotel are beautiful. Carol made me a special breakfast just to suit my dietary needs, and it was delicious. There was a nice sitting area outside our room, which was very cozy. It might have been just a tad larger, but overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back again!

Our stay was amazing, highlight of the trip. My friend and i only stayed one night but we loved it. Carl was super personable and friendly, we loved the pools and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue is thay we had to climb a really big hill by bike but of course...that makes for great views! Cant recommend the Auberge emough!

So many kinds of comfort at this lovely inn! The hot tub and cool-tub, the elaborate cooked breakfasts, all the cozy common spaces and the comfy bed...When we arrived late, soaking wet and stressed from driving in a big rain storm, Carol helped us order dinner to be delivered, set a table for us and made us tea - above and beyond. A very special place.

We arrived between 3 and 4 pm so we were not able to check in. So, we made the short drive to Hatley, a cute town on the river, for an early dinner. Checked in at 4:30 pm. Carol greeted us and was very welcoming. The room was one flight up from the sitting room. It was smallish but in excellent, fresh condition. Clean and bright. We looked around the grounds after unloading. Nice flower beds. Plenty of seating outside with panoramic view to the river and hills beyond. Very quiet and peaceful. A short mile drive on a well maintained gravel road from the main road. Nice to hear just birds after being in the city. Other guests were friendly - sharing the day’s activities, getting restaurant suggestions or relaxing at the small pool. The room lighting wasn’t quite right for reading, and the wi-fi was insecure, so we fell asleep early in the comfortable bed. In the morning, the small, square shower was refreshing. The a/c worked well overnight. In our particular room, folks over 6 feet tall should be a little cautious at night due to the sloped ceiling in the bathroom. We enjoyed the morning air and view from the porch before breakfast. The dining area was lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff are certainly committed to providing a special experience for guests. We highly recommend this auberge.

We had a fantastic experience at Le Tricone! We booked our stay to spend time in North Hatley celebrating our anniversary. A beautiful Bed and Breakfast with friendly, helpful staff. A delicious breakfast was served! Very clean! Highly recommend le Tricone.

Nous avons aimé l’accueil chaleureux et l’esprit authentique et humain de l’auberge ainsi que le calme des lieux. La demeure est très propre, super bien entretenue et décorée dans le souci du détail. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent. Un très charmant village se trouve à une dizaine de minutes de route.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with this place and its owner. We had booked a nice room for 1 night as we wanted to visit the Eastern Townships and this place looked good based on the photos. We arrived at the hotel (which is on an isolated road) at around 3:20 PM and it was totally deserted. There was no car or anyone to be found. Rang the office bell a few times, called them a few times but no answer. We waited for about 20 mins and then left as it seemed very weird that no one was there even though their office hours are advertised as 7:30 am to 8 pm on Expedia (where we booked from). Also, it was raining and we were tired from our journey and had to use the rest rooms. Next morning, I noticed a full charge on my credit card and when I called the hotel, owner kept saying that check in time starts at 4 pm and if I had read the policy. These are usual check in times at most places and this does not mean that there should be no one at all at the hotel if someone arrives just before check in time. Anyways, the owner has put all the blame on us and is not ready to refund even a partial amount, which we find very unreasonable. Anyways, pls go at your own risk as this is the first time I have had to deal with such a situation. Just wanted to share the experience.
Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with this place and its owner. We had booked a nice room for 1 night as we wanted to visit the Eastern Townships and this place looked good based on the photos. We arrived at the hotel (which is on an isolated road) at around 3:20 PM and it was totally deserted. There was no car or anyone to be found. Rang the office bell a few times, called them a few times but no answer. We waited for about 20 mins and then left as it seemed very weird that no one was there even though their office hours are advertised as 7:30 am to 8 pm on Expedia (where we booked from). Also, it was raining and we were tired from our journey and had to use the rest rooms. What a beautiful area! We stopped here on our way to Quebec, and now we plan to stop back just to visit North Hatley. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the grounds and the hotel are beautiful. Carol made me a special breakfast just to suit my dietary needs, and it was delicious. There was a nice sitting area outside our room, which was very cozy. It might have been just a tad larger, but overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back again!

The hot tub and cool-tub, the elaborate cooked breakfasts, all the cozy common spaces and the comfy bed...When we arrived late, soaking wet and stressed from driving in a big rain storm, Carol helped us order dinner to be delivered, set a table for us and made us tea - above and beyond. A very special place.

We arrived between 3 and 4 pm so we were not able to check in. So, we made the short drive to Hatley, a cute town on the river, for an early dinner. Checked in at 4:30 pm. Carol greeted us and was very welcoming. The room was one flight up from the sitting room. It was smallish but in excellent, fresh condition. Clean and bright. We looked around the grounds after unloading. Nice flower beds. Plenty of seating outside with panoramic view to the river and hills beyond. Very quiet and peaceful. A short mile drive on a well maintained gravel road from the main road. Nice to hear just birds after being in the city. Other guests were friendly - sharing the day’s activities, getting restaurant suggestions or relaxing at the small pool. The room lighting wasn’t quite right for reading, and the wi-fi was insecure, so we fell asleep early in the comfortable bed. In the morning, the small, square shower was refreshing. The a/c worked well overnight. In our particular room, folks over 6 feet tall should be a little cautious at night due to the sloped ceiling in the bathroom. We enjoyed the morning air and view from the porch before breakfast. The dining area was lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff are certainly committed to providing a special experience for guests. We highly recommend this auberge.

Fully bilingual Mother/Daughter Team are absolutely incredible! Amelie went above & beyond for us. We overnighted to see my daughter’s graduation and they took such good care of us. They not only made us feel at home, they were as appreciative of us as we were of them. We needed help with a few things and they didn’t blink an eye. Breakfast was great too! Now we will find more excuses to stay again, but hopefully longer!

The breakfast here are really excellent. One morning we had cheese, crepes and the second morning we had eggs benedict. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went for a day of cycling on the many available biking paths. We relaxed in the hot tub afterwards, which was just perfect. The small town of north hadley is very close by with a few Good restaurants for all budgets.
