Room really didn't reflect the images shown. Much smaller and extremely run down. Bathroom was pretty terrible to be honest. Mouldy, filthy dirty, paint peeling, shower had curtain only and base had no edge so it flooded room. Literally half repaired concrete with missing/broken tiling. Really unpleasant.

Stayed here a couple of times, and for a cheap and cheerful country motel it's fairly comfortable for the price. Rooms are nothing flash but everything I needed was there so happy at this price point. The manager is a funny character and the meals on site were homely. If I'm honest I expect some city guests would probably say it's behind the times, the meals typical of 1980's pubs and everything generally a bit slow. But I think they know their clientele (a lot of workers it seems) and I expect they're happy with it. For my part I didn't mind, enjoyed a bit of country hospitality for a while. One thing I really have to mention however was, even at this budget price, the cleanliness of the room was really below standard. There are surfaces caked in dust, and the bathroom riddled with mould. It just really needs a thorough once-over and then try to maintain that. One last thing, there were a lot of workers outside my door having beers and smoking, and the smoke filled my room. I don't mind these blokes probably want a beer at the end of the day, but it'd be better if they had somewhere that doesn't affect other guests' enjoyment.

There was an electric blanket on the bed - this is a plus - I hate getting into a cold bed. Everything was clean and tidy. The tea and coffee facilities were good, there's a microwave in the room and a decent split-system aircon/heater. Nice lights in the room and above the bed. All good.

The room was not cleaned to acceptable standards. There was visible dust, cobwebs, and even spiders in the bathroom. The towels appeared old and discolored — they were grey rather than white, which is not up to hospitality standards. The carpet was also dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly.

Adequate for the money. The odour of cheap cleaning products is not a welcome smell.

This is a fairly old motel that offers a basic, cheap, clean option for short stays. Check in is easy and the staff are friendly. The towels are clean and the water is good pressure and temperature. Tea and coffee provided, along with the complimentary biscuits.

Reception staff (Owner) friendly and helpful. website says breakfast available, it was not. No in-house dining at all. Beds weren't made although requested just towels changed. A little too pricey for what was on offer - noisy mini friedge which woke us up very early. Bathroom extractor extremely noisy. Place looks dated and in need of an overall upgrade.

Got TV channels but not pictures on-screen. Noisy traffic from main highway but did get few hrs sleep

The price was OK. It was basic but comfortable. The TV did not receive all the channelss. You would go onto a channel and you could hear the start of the program but then it would stop. Only a few channels worked properly.

Because the operation at the hospital was cancelled and we were unable to complete our stay. Because we had prepaid our stay the Manager was extremely helpful by having our unused credit held over until the next hospital stay very happy with his attitude and advice.look forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Bandicoot abd highly recommend it to other travellers. The staff are excellent and the rooms very comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff. I received a phone call from the cleaning staff not long after checking out to say that I had left something behind, and where I could pick it up. Woulf stay again if ever the need arose.
