Mattress was lumpy and well past it's life, horrible. Stayed 3 nights but only had 2 coffee pods, none in stock. I felt like I should not be asking for coffee pods. Very cold reception I thought. A property needing work but looks more like it will be run into the ground. No pride of ownership here

This is a tired resort and needs some updating. The bathroom is small and the place smells musty. There were hairs in the bathroom which should have been noticed by the cleaners. We asked the people next to us about their place and they said that the cleaning was also sub-par. This was by far the least enjoyable place of our 7 day trip in Vancouver island and I was thankful we only stayed one night. The place markets the sauna but when I asked about it the front desk attendee just said ‘up the hill’ and that was that. Based on the cleaning of our room we opted to not go to the sauna. The place is across the road from Little Beach and it’s very close to the road so if you are staying g at a cabin by the road as we were you will hear traffic.
