Our first trip to BC and we were going on the recommendations in the website. We were not disappointed. The cabin was spacious, clean, bright and fully equipped. We had a large deck with a large table/chairs outside. A quick walk to the lodge for Breakfast (Very tasty Continental + Type breakfast). Our host was delightful! The staff was very friendly and quick to handle any situation. Bonus it is on the Wild Pacific Trail along the stunningly rugged and beautiful coastline. highly Recommended.

Gorgeous beach, well kept, pretty property nestled in the woods. Gas fireplace and large soaking tub were nice amenities. No front desk, all contactless check in and out. Really enjoyed my stay here. The property recently started an optional breakfast and dinner offering in the dining room at the lodge, which was delicious.

The bed was a tad too high upstairs and there was a dried up orange in the cabinet by the bowls and glasses. I ended up washing all the dishes as they were not checked. Been in the cleaning business for over 50 years and that is a big NO NO. You always check the dishes!

Beautiful location! It was nice that the kitchen came equipped but what was there needed replacing. The can opener was very rusty and the knives were dangerously dull. There were cobwebs and the carpets were not vacuumed. The bedding was very nice and comfortable and I loved that there was a washer & dryer. The bathrooms were very well stocked and the heated floors were a very pleasant surprise.

Lovely place to stay! We were here for three nights. The lodge is beautiful and the lodge suites are as well. Ours was on the top floor and had a big comfy bed, large bathtub and shower, skylight, huge windows with a view through the trees to the ocean. Beach access super close. Room could have more updated tvs so guests could watch more than just basic cable. Our only issue, was that it has advertised there was a bbq available on the hotels.com listing- so we bought groceries with the intention of cooking, there was no bbq available, no microwave in the room either.

The view was outstanding, we got to be at the lodge where it is adult only, the rooms were quiet but the door on room 25 needs rubber stubs or lining to prevent it from shaking when someone enters or exits the building, I put a piece of cloth on the top of the door to prevent it from rattling and that did the job. But I would highly recommend someone look into it because the property is very nice and has a great location.

We stayed at the Lodge suite. Beautiful room with forest a view, very clean, quiet, you can hear ocean waves with open windows. We realized upon arrival that there was no microwave in the room, this was not convenient at all since we brought some food with us. The TV in the room is extremely small and old, so bring something else for evening entertainment. There’re 2 nice chairs on the balcony but no table to put food or drinks. Again, not very convenient, but it could be by design not to attract wild animals. Other than that, we had a great time. Super comfy bed. A large heart shaped bath tub was a treat. Location is great, minutes to downtown, beaches and hiking trails.

Nice and beautiful spot; 2mins walking to beach. Easy check-in check out. The pictures on the Expedia are confusing, because all stacked together. The building isn’t quite sound proof, you can hear people from top floor. It would be nicer if it has a microwave.

The view from our lodge room was unbelievable. The stars at night through the sky lights were an added surprise! We accessed the nearby hikes Lighthouse Trail and the Wild Pacific Trail which was incredible at both sunrise and sunset. Despite the gorgeous design elements, I did find the interior quite cold and echoey, and I think the rooms would benefit from artwork or wall decor to feel more cozy. We stayed in lodge suite 26 and there was a enclosed pillar outside the room that hummed continuously, which impacted the tranquility of this place. Maybe that room would benefit from a layout change since I could hear that hum from bed and not further in the suite. We could hear the waves crashing and sea lions barking in the distant from the balcony. We also saw plenty of birds including bald eagles from the balcony in the morning. Some of the surrounding rooms left their balcony lights on which created light pollution. Maybe overtime the property can make alterations to lessen the impact of the design by having those lights auto shut off. I did not encounter any staff, they sent a lot of information to read prior to arrival which started to feel redundant and excessive. Self check in was easy and more info was provided. This felt very impersonal and I would have loved to meet a local at check in and have someone to ask for food or activity recommendations. I would stay here again but I hope the overall coldness improves.

We stayed in the lodge, the rooms were large with an incredibly comfortable bed. The balcony and view from the room were the highlight. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, I highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at the new cabins. A couple inconveniences we noticed were 1) no shelves in showers for toiletries. 2) the wifi only works in bottom bedroom and nowhere else. 3) parking spot was very convenience but difficult to maneuver around a giant rock. It being a new cabin some hiccups were expected and would definitely recommend to stay here!

Pros: We loved Ucluelet. Nice touch adding the bath salts and a soap bar. Large, clean place and beautiful bathroom. Cons: Slightly confusing check in process and a lack of privacy with the sign in, they put my full name on an envelope and left it outside with my room keys and the room number. The envelope became wet with rain, and they duplicated paper instructions inside but one of the pages was wet and seemed to have run out of ink. They also left the room open upon check in (possible safety issue). I understand the Ucluelet culture is chill, but from the perspective of a guest, I’d rather be careful. People were smoking in the parking lot while we were unpacking. They didn’t clearly advertise that it was a room within a large house, and a communal bathroom right outside our room (we had a private bathroom inside). Thin walls and could hear others briefly but very quiet after 9pm. The couch was older and scratchy. They sent a total of 11 emails, including an email advertising their restaurant. Lukewarm shower on the hottest setting, and low water pressure, although this was noted at local restaurants as well, since they are trying to conserve water across this area. We ran out of toilet paper (only gave 1 roll) and nobody was working until 10am so we could not get more. Very large, thick pillows (my partner loved this) but gave me a slight neck ache. Overall, good and clean spot but slightly misleading advertising and could improve their service/safety.

Had an issue with noise/partying the first night. No easy way to contact anyone about the issue. Sent an email and left a voice mail about the issue. Since there is no one there and these are the only contact points provided did not receive a response until the next morning. Was told the partying was not acceptable and they would deal with it from that point forward. It was very quiet after that.

Beautiful location with a view, large room, beautiful view and access to trails and the ocean. So relaxing! The check in process was nice for convenience and ease, but on the other hand, I did not love the check in process with nobody to speak to in person about issues etc, especially after a certain time in the evening nobody to speak to like your typical accommodation/ hotel, that being said it didn't hinder our stay; we had the best time and would return!
Beautiful location with a view, large room, beautiful view and access to trails and the ocean. So relaxing! The check in process was nice for convenience and ease, but on the other hand, I did not love the check in process with nobody to speak to in person about issues etc, especially after a certain time in the evening nobody to speak to like your typical accommodation/ hotel, that being said it didn't hinder our stay; we had the best time and would return!

We stayed one night at the lodge in a beautiful room in the forest. We were kept updated about our arrival and check in and everything went perfectly. We also received an email telling us about the road closure on highway 4 that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We spoke to an off duty staff member last night who told us more about the closure and she called this morning to make sure we were in our way and that everything was going well. Can’t say enough about the Canins at Terrace Beach. Beautiful!

Very clean property which is very important to us. There were maybe a few too many emails due to the contactless process of check in/ check out and property rules. But as a result of all the emails, we had a stress free and seamless stay. We will definitely stay here again!

The cabins were relatively new and had everything that you'd need including huge bathtub facing the private beach, two balconies, full kitchen with utensils and plates, two showers, outdoor hose for car/pets. We even ran into a doe on the walkway in the evening! Location is slightly further from town center, but connected to the Lighthouse Loop. I took one star off for the following reasons: - Checkin is via the front board where your keys will be hung. While this isn't the end of the world, I would've preferred something a bit more secure - Similar comment for checkout, you toss keys into a box that anyone can open readily. Would've preferred something a bit more secure, if even just a one way lid on the box. - Very minor gripe, your car is going to get covered in tree droppings if parking near the front cabins.

Wonderful location overlooking the beach. Walkable into Town (if you don't mind 20 mins or so as a walk). Good facilities to cook and feel comfortable. Very helpful re checking in and staying the extra night.

Our first trip to BC and we were going on the recommendations in the website. We were not disappointed. The cabin was spacious, clean, bright and fully equipped. We had a large deck with a large table/chairs outside. A quick walk to the lodge for Breakfast (Very tasty Continental + Type breakfast). Our host was delightful! The staff was very friendly and quick to handle any situation. Bonus it is on the Wild Pacific Trail along the stunningly rugged and beautiful coastline. highly Recommended.

Pros: We loved Ucluelet. Nice touch adding the bath salts and a soap bar. Large, clean place and beautiful bathroom. Cons: Slightly confusing check in process and a lack of privacy with the sign in, they put my full name on an envelope and left it outside with my room keys and the room number. The envelope became wet with rain, and they duplicated paper instructions inside but one of the pages was wet and seemed to have run out of ink. They also left the room open upon check in (possible safety issue). I understand the Ucluelet culture is chill, but from the perspective of a guest, I’d rather be careful. People were smoking in the parking lot while we were unpacking. They didn’t clearly advertise that it was a room within a large house, and a communal bathroom right outside our room (we had a private bathroom inside). Thin walls and could hear others briefly but very quiet after 9pm. The couch was older and scratchy. They sent a total of 11 emails, including an email advertising their restaurant. Lukewarm shower on the hottest setting, and low water pressure, although this was noted at local restaurants as well, since they are trying to conserve water across this area. We ran out of toilet paper (only gave 1 roll) and nobody was working until 10am so we could not get more. Very large, thick pillows (my partner loved this) but gave me a slight neck ache. Overall, good and clean spot but slightly misleading advertising and could improve their service/safety.

Gorgeous beach, well kept, pretty property nestled in the woods. Gas fireplace and large soaking tub were nice amenities. No front desk, all contactless check in and out. Really enjoyed my stay here. The property recently started an optional breakfast and dinner offering in the dining room at the lodge, which was delicious.

A very clean and well equipped room in a beautiful lodge, steps from the beach. Bed was comfy, building very quiet. Even epsom salts for the soaker tub! Self check in and check out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced - never saw a staff member aside from a couple housekeepers. I don’t know why all facilities can’t be this simple. Would definitely stay again.
