Our stay at Hotel Demas was great! We arrived early in Munich and our room was available so they allowed us to do an early check in. Even if they hadn’t, they have a lot of space for roller bags to be secured and also lockers for smaller bags which is great when you want to get going in the city. They were very close to the tram and train service as well as walkable to Marienplatz and the surrounding areas. Staff was very friendly and the accommodations were good. It was good that we could open the window/door to let air in and keep the room cool as it did get warm in Munich some days.

Fijn en schoon hotel in de buurt van de Altstadt. In een erg leuke straat waar ‘s avonds veel te doen is. We waren blij met onze kamer aan de achterkant. Parkeren was mogelijk op het terrein van het hotel tegen betaling van 19€.

The staff were lovely, the room was fine - clean and quiet, given the location. BUT my strong recommendation is to avoid using the ‘car park’ at all cost. You drive the car into a lift and then drive it onto a tiny ramp. The damage to my hired estate car cost me 3 times the hotel room rate.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind klein, für einen Städtetrip aber ausreichend. Die Matratzen könnten für meinen Geschmack etwas härter sein. Ich habe dennoch gut geschlafen. Es war sehr ruhig im Zimmer. Hervorheben möchte ich die Zimmerreinigung. This property was terrible at all fronts. In terms of cleanliness, the rooms were not cleaned. They put soiled linen back on the beds/bathroom and there is significant reason to believe that linen were not laundered between guests. Housekeeping were inept and intrusive. They put soiled cleaning products in/on our luggage and belongings. We were given different stories by staff. We were advised that there is a $10 fee for new linen. This was after multiple discussions around the same. While completely unheard of, when we agreed, they refused. Staff were rude, threatening, and abusive. There were multiple episodes of verbal threats by a few staff. Attempts to escalate were unhelpful. Also, speaking to both the property and location, staff and their friends were in front of the property making rude and inappropriate comments and gestures to female guests. They declined a room change. Ultimately, we checked-out earlier than expected and paid for. They refused to provide verification of a check-out and outright refused to cancel the remaining days and refund for those days. Needless to say, this is a terrible facility and I would encourage all to avoid this property.

Lovely hotel in a great location. We had a ‘city view” room which seemed better equipped and larger than the standard rooms our travelling companions had. We had tea and coffee facilities whereas they didn’t. WiFi isn’t too good and there are no English TV channels available. Housekeeping wasn’t every day and we had to ask for more coffee pods and water for our room

We asked 3 times if this could be looked into but to no avail. One english news channel would have been appreciated.

It was noticable during my summertime stay. The beds were also relatively comfortable, but the pillows were flat/non supportive. Overall, a solid place for a 3 day stay.

Good location, breakfast adequate. Rather noisy though. The heavy doors on the rooms bang shut and shake the whole floor. Also, as there is no a/c the windows need to be open and there’s quite a lot of noise coming from the courtyard.

Great little budget hotel near the main train station and close to downtown! Breakfast was great, reception friendly! The only downside is that the hotel does bot have air conditioning and I could not sleep at all the first night. So keep that in mind if you travel in the hot summer. Fan is not much of relief.

Very clean and nice location in Munich. Comfort wise, it was weird having a split mattress and the pillows were folded which were uncomfortable to sleep on. The heater was always on which made the room very hot to sleep in and I constantly had to leave the window open when it was 0° just to feel cool.

Property location was good. Breakfast was very good. no HVAC, there was only a standup fan in the room and the window only cracked a bit. No amenities, no ice,. Front desk staff was a bit standoffish. I don’t feel they were customer oriented overheard them say they didn’t know how much it cost for a cab to the airport, but never offered to find out. A very common destination

Good value for a city centre hotel, close to Hauptbahnhof Station and Marienplatz. Not the most salubrious area of the city, but it was fine. Our room was functional, very clean and comfortable, (pillows a bit soft) bathroom small but a powerful shower. Breakfast buffet is not huge but there's a good selection and it was topped up regularly. All the staff were helpful and friendly. All in all, a clean, comfortable, no frills hotel, very convenient base from which to explore Munich. I would stay here again.

The hotel was conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was soft and very comfortable. The young Australian lady at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended a restaurant for schnitzel and it was one of the best and largest schnitzels I've ever had. Staff such as her make stays more enjoyable at hotels. I would definitely stay here again

Modernes und sauberes Hotel! Zur Strassenseite sehr laut- im Sommer bei offenen Fenster schlafen, fast nicht möglich! Keine Klima im Zimmer. LOCATION: You can walk from the train station to the hotel. A short walk to old town and also the Octoberfest grounds. The area has lots of road work occuring. Its fairly busy on the side walks and streets. STAFF: Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful. ROOM: Was clean and spacious enough for a short 2-3 day trip. Room was also very quiet as it was on the inside.

Hotel is in OK condition. Area is not the best. Lots of males standing on the streets in the surrounding area. They are mostly just standing around, staring at everyone. Good area is you enjoy Indian Food, or other Middle-eastern cuisine and vendors.

The hotel was a nice European hotel. The area was ok, never felt unsafe during the day, but didn’t go out at night. There was a gentleman’s club on the street and the clientele I wouldn’t trust it at night. It was very noisy at night since there is no AC and the windows were open. Staff were great.
