My wife and I stayed in the Residence Inn (family studio) for three nights in November 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is ideally located, with a tram stop a couple of minutes away (#21), that takes you right into the center in about fifteen minutes. The hotel is close to the center but far enough away to be quiet. I was happy with the underground parking (€20/day) - no need to reserve as there are plenty of spaces. The room itself was spacious, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, and it had everything we needed. The furnishings seemed a bit dated for a Marriott, but we were happy with everything. The free breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices. All the hotel personnel we met were very helpful and friendly. All in all, it is a great place to stay when visiting Munich.

Vi fick dock aldrig wifi att fungera vilket innebar att vi inte kunde utnyttja chromecasten till tvn. Nära till spårvagn som tar en snabbt in till centrum. Ett lekrum vid entrén som barnen uppskattade (dock var det väldigt varmt där inne). Sammantaget är vi väldigt nöjda och tycker hotellet är prisvärt!

Lots of positives for this location. We travelled with a baby. The room: spacious and comfortable, clean rooms and a spacious washroom. Breakfast: Amazing breakfast spread. Lots of hot options and continental. definitely will stay again here for the breakfast. Staff: Very friendly staff. There was a waitress named Love at the breakfast buffet and she was awesome. Location: 5-7mins to Ostbahnoff where you can take any trains to anywhere around Munich. Very quiet neighborhood. Some construction, but it not bad. Definitely great if you wanna be close to the center but not too close. Baby: we travelled with a baby. The hotel set up a crib for her and everything was good for her including food options. We also had a coffee/,hot chocolate station in the main entrance at the Residence Inn. It had a common fridge and water. We will definitely stay here again

Lovely clean and modern hotel in a fabulous location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Parking was secure and easy to use. Breakfast was also great. Public transport was available just outside the hotel. The surrounding area was safe and vibrant.

Stayed for a few nights for the Oktoberfest in Munich. The hotel is easy to reach by U-Bahn from the Munich central station. The East train stating is a walkable distance from the hotel giving you access to the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and intercity trains. There is also a tram stop nearby that will take you directly to the Oktoberfest grounds and the center of Munich. It's a Marriott so there is a level of expectation, and that expectation was met. The hotel does have laundry machines available for guest use, but be warned that there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers and there can be a bit of a wait with other guests also trying to do their laundry.

Alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind durch die Nähe zum Ostbahnhof fußläufig schnell erreichbar, dadurch ist bei einem Zimmer Richtung Hauptverkehrsstraße aber natürlich mit Lärm zu rechnen. Es gibt auch ruhige Zimmer nach hinten heraus und zur Seitenstraße. Die Zimmer haben eine gute Größe, sodass wir uns als vierköpfige Familie wohlfühlen konnten. Insgesamt trafen wir auf ein sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Der Außenbereich könnte sauberer wirken und insgesamt wäre die Gründlichkeit der Säuberung (Wollmäuse in den Schattenfugen über Schrank und Bett, Schlieren nach dem Putzen auf dem Boden und den Möbeln, Schimmel in den Fugen der Dusche) verbesserungsfähig- bitte als konstruktive Kritik verstehen, denn insgesamt waren wir mit dem Servicepersonal/ Zimmerreinigungspersonal sehr zufrieden! Gutes Frühstück, bei dem sicher jeder etwas Passendes findet.

First off: The staff was extremely friendly and nice, which is why this is not a zero. But this hotel is not safe. The shower was heavily impacted with black mold which is extremely toxic especially over longer periods. As this is an “aparthotel” it poses a potential risk to visitors. Unfortunately I was only in for a strictly planned work function, so I did not have time to complain. But that also shouldn’t be necessary. The mold infection was visible to the naked eye, which means it had progressed for a long time. Not fit for humans or animals.

The refrigerator in our room was broken and the floor had been sanded down for refinishing but it hadn't been done yet. The shower could have used Tilex to get rid of the mildew. But the overall time spent there was wonderful.

Wir waren bis auf 2 Punkte insgesamt sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel somit weiterempfehlen. Punkt 1: Das Hotel ist wohl auf Langzeitaufenthalte ausgelegt, welches bei der Buchung aber nirgendwo erwähnt wurde, somit erfolgt die Zimmerreinigung nur alle 3 Tage, was ich für als nicht gut empfinde. Punkt 2: Die Klimaanlage lässt sich nur ausschalten, wenn 1 Zimmerkarte in der Vorrichtung stecken bleibt. Ansonsten geht sie immer wieder an, sobald man die Zimmerkarte aus der Vorrichtung entnimmt und das Zimmer verlässt.

A very nice way to save some money while traveling. The table, desk, couch, and foot stools were quite good too. The shower design required a nearly 1 meter climb up into the tub/shower, then back out (while dripping wet). For people with any form of mobility impairment this is a huge problem. The beds are incredibly stiff and lack much in the way of cushioning, and the pillows are just as unforgiving. Feather bed covers, while common across European, often result in overheating during sleep.

Nice room, but it was very hot while we were in Munich. The air conditioning did not work. The front desk acknowledged this and sent up fans. The man who delivered them fiddled with the thermostat and claimed it had been fixed, but it was definitely not. The temperature in the room did not sink below 84 degrees. We tried opening the window in the early morning hours, but the traffic and train noises made it too loud to sleep. We ended up trying to use wet hand towels to stay cool. We informed management several times, but they did not offer us any response other than the fans.

Foi maravilhosa. O hotel é muito bem localizado. Os atendentes foram espetacularmente a atração do lugar. Nunca tivemos uma hospedagem tão acolhedora. Faço duas menções especiais: aos recepcionistas do Hotel, com especial atenção a uma Moça que nos auxiliou durante mais de 1 hora com um problema que tivemos com uma locadora de veículos. Ela auxiliou em todo o processo de troca de veículo, falando em alemão diretamente com a locadora por nós. E ressalto também o atendimento dos atendentes do Bar e Restaurante, os dois rapazes da noite foram incríveis, gentis e muito acolhedores. Toda a Staff do hotel é excepcional. A recepção do Residence Inn tinha um aroma do paraíso. O café da manhã era divino. Não tenho palavras para agradecer a todo o Hotel pelo cuidado conosco.

NO dejen tarjeta de crédito para deposito!!! Hacen cargos inapropiados! Cuando hice el check-in me cobraron los depósitos, ok! Luego después hicieron dos cargos más: 250€ en una noche y 100€ otra noche, cuando pregunté me dijeron que era una falla del sistema! Me imagino que si no me llegan notificaciones de la tarjeta seguirían haciendo cargos a mi tarjeta! JAMÁS me había pasado en otro hotel, al momento de hacer el check-out sorpresa, cobraron cuentas del bar que ya se habían pagado en efectivo y cuando le pedí me enseñara las firmas de mi consumo de que yo habia autorizado cargo a la habitación se puso súper pesado el chavo de recepción gritoneando y argumentando cosas sin sentido, ya mejor nos fuimos con el cargo porque era quedarse a aclarar o perder el vuelo! Habitación sucia, Estuvimos 5 noches de las cuales solo hicieron el aseo de la habitación 1 vez! Ni jabon de cuerpo había porque no había personal para reponerlo! Jamás me había tocado un hotel tan fraudulento y sucio!

We stayed at this hotel to attend Oktoberfest and explore attractions in Munich. We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was very good, we took advantage of the always-available hot chocolate, cappuccino and tea. We also really liked how close this location was to public transportation. Our room was quiet, and we got a good night's sleep every night.

Great hotel, amazing customer service, the location very close to the metro and train station which is very convenient for moving around. Excellent breakfast.

We had an excellent stay, and the staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. We were able to check in early and had lunch at the restaurant and the food and the service was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic as well!

My stay in Munich at this hotel was great. Breakfast each morning was great so much variety. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a walk in shower.

Decent room size, comfy bed, good little kitchen area. Tomas in the bar super friendly and helpful. A good selection at breakfast.

O hotel é muito bem localizado perto da estação Ostanbaholf. Os quartos são ótimos! Só deixam a desejar no serviço de café da manhã. Diria que o hotel é um 8/10. Recomendo.
