El hotel está muy bien ubicado, limpio, con una habitacion un tanto antigua pero bien conservada. La unica gran critica es que el ascensor se toma previa escalera y para en un piso al cual para acceder a la habitacion hay que subir otro piso, lo cual es incomodo absolutamente, sumado a que es muy chico el ascensor.

The hotel had character. It was gentile and had excellent and friendly staff from reception to the dining room. The only negative (which did not impact us) was the elevator not coming to the ground floor. This would be very difficult for a wheelchair person.

Very clean wonderful hotel. Great location. Unfortunately they do not have food in the bar. Only breakfast. Our room was clean wonderful bed and nice mini fridge filled with waters and juice. We would stay here again for sure.

he hotel is in a great location, with beautiful rooms and convenient street parking. However, there are significant accessibility issues that need to be addressed. To access the elevator, guests must use stairs, which was shocking and inconvenient for us. My wife had recently undergone surgery, and despite the front desk staff seeing her condition, they did not inform us about this obstacle. We only discovered it upon approaching the elevator. The explanation given—that it’s an old hotel—is not an acceptable excuse. Additionally, we stayed in the nicest and largest room, but the shower drainage was faulty. After a short shower, the entire room flooded. I had to spend two hours draining the water with towels because no hotel staff was available to assist or fix the issue. That said, we did enjoy the Christmas market and appreciated the hotel’s proximity to lovely cafés and excellent shopping spots.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. But, the twin beds we had were so small that you could barely roll over and there was only a tub with shower that was very high to climb into. The room was very small. The breakfast was nice and the wait staff pleasant. The front desk staff needs to learn to smile. The one real advantage of this hotel is that it has a small parking lot. You pay to park but it was very convenient. Lastly, I have a problem with steps and book hotels with elevators, like this one. Except, you had to go up a series of steps to get to the elevator and, when we got off on our floor, our room was up another flight of stairs, which they considered to be the same floor. They do have some rooms right off the elevator. One more positive, it is a very short walk to the Hofbrauhaus.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect! The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the variety offered. We also parked our rental car in the hotel parking and it was close by and convenient. We loved everything about this hotel. Highly recommend!

The room was old and the bathroom wasn’t well cleaned, particularly in the corners and some touch surfaces. The shower was very small and hard to move around in, and didn’t drain properly. The window to the courtyard opened to pieces of tinfoil to scare away pigeons, which were right outside the window anyways. The HVAC system made an irritating whining and grinding sound throughout the night. Additionally the furnishings were outdated, particularly the shag carpet. On the positive side, the location was good.

J'ai retrouvé 2 cheveux dans la salle de bain. Impossible d'allumer celle-ci sans declencher l'aeration qui fait beaucoup de bruit. La chambre est minuscule et il y fait très chaud. Le petit déjeuner etait sans plus. Décue au vu du prix dépensé et pour un hotel 4 etoiles. Le seul aspect positif est l'emplacement.

The hotel Torbrau is a charming hotel in an excellent location. It is within walking distance of many sights and close to a subway station. The front desk staff were all very friendly. It was probably one of the most quiet rooms we have stayed in. The only thing we did not like was the shower-it was very small and its awkward shape made it very difficult to enjoy taking a shower.

The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with a beautifully designed bathroom—complete with heated floors—that made our stay feel extra luxurious. We had a great stay. We asked for a quiet room and with the exception of Saturday night it was perfect. Being near the Hofbrauhaus it is understandable that Friday and Saturday would be noisy. It is in a prime location - walking distance to the Marienplatz and near an S-bahn stop. Breakfast was very good. I had two complaints. The internet was very slow and the pillows on the bed were too soft and flat. The front desk was very supportive and corrected the pillow situation but the internet speed remained slow. I would highly recommend this hotel despite the internet speed!

Shower temperature kept on changing from hot to cold without us touching anything. Showers were too small in general. Temperature control in the room was poor as well - we kept trying to cool it down but thermostat kept going up by itself overnight.

Bei meinem Aufenthalt (1 Nacht Business) war leider das WLAN für Videokonferenzen nicht nutzbar - zu langsam. Und was mich mehr ärgerte: In der Früh kam aus der Dusche nur tröpfchenweise Wasser. Leider zu wenig zum duschen. Das fand ich sehr schade.

What a gem of a hotel! It is family owned and I must say that they hire the best staff! From the front reception, to the breakfast staff, to the maids, to the restaurant (thank you Keowta), each and every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, close to lots of tourist sites! The rooms are spotless and although we chose a smaller room, it still was spacious enough. Our only complaint was that the TV was small, but that is a minor issue. You will not regret staying here!

Allt ok fram till utcheckningen då den manlige receptionisten på något sätt fick oss att känna oss mindre välkommna. Inte ett tack, leende eller välkommen åter utan totalt oengagerad och näst intill ohövlig. Borde gå på servicekurs eller byta jobb. Enligt min son som bodde på hotellet förra året samma sak. Drar ned betyget på helheten, annats trevligt hotell jag bott på tidigare och varit mycket nöjd med. Centralt läge bra rum och bra frukost.

Fabulous hotel located on Marienplatz. Easy walking to all those locations and a cab ride away to the Residenz and other locations. Right near an underground train station, so you can get to and from the airport and other places, too. Breakfast is great, and the staff are, too. We will stay there again on our next visit.

The room was fine and the bathtub was perfect. breakfast was average. The toiletries were nice and of high quality. The bar/restaurant was a huge disappointment as there was no hot food or "cooked" food available. You could get a sandwich "panini" and or cake but that was it! Front desk staff did nothing to go out of their way to help with anything. For the price, quite disaapointing.
