Beautiful location, outstanding tatami room with good en suite bathroom facilities, and extremely friendly staff. Wifi connection in room was very weak (had to go to hall to connect). Not many English-speaking staff but made do with Google-translate. Would have appreciated food/snack options in bar but bought snacks at well-stocked gift store and small snack outlet on street where they have nice hot spring foot baths next to the river. The garden is beautiful and the private onsen was excellent. Probably easiest to visit by car (plentiful space in their off site parking lot); the train option would be cumbersome. Beautiful rose garden associated with the shrine up the hill; in full bloom at the end of June. Small restaurants nearby.

口コミどおり、とても良いお宿でした。 ６人の大人数で１部屋でしたが、余裕の広さ。 部屋もきれいで、どこに寝転がっても座っても気になりません。さりげなく生けてあるお花もステキ。朝食は、ごはんおかわり絶対のおかずは、最高でした。 今までで、トップクラスのお宿で大満足でした。 ステキな時間をありがとうございました。

Chambre spacieuse et propre. Onsen très beau avec joli extérieur. Lobby et bar donnant sur un petit jardin avec étang très charmant. Dîner et déjeuner étaient délicieux. Le personnel était globalement sympa, aucun ne parlait anglais mais essayait de se faire comprendre. On a eu quand même quelques interactions désagréables car malgré quelques bases en Japonais, le fait qu’on ne comprenne pas tout ce que la serveuse nous disait l’a visiblement gonflé.

到着から出発までスタッフの冷たさを感じる宿でした。 特に宿泊先は山奥で周りはコンビニが無いエリアで歩いて行くには不可能な所　周りに食堂も無く　恐らくディナー付きがほとんどの宿泊者かと思います　ディナーは19:00〜21:00までで、到着が少し30分遅れであってもNGで　晩飯は無しです　あたりまえかと思いますが遅れれば返金も無しです。ディナー代分とは思いませんが、おにぎり🍙の軽食くらい用意して頂けると人の暖かみの心地よい所と思いたかったです。その宿泊は温泉♨️も入る気にならず、即出発しました。
