Dinner was great, they provided sushi and beef and different wine. The breakfast was boring. We lived on the 3rd floor, can only see trees, no lake view. Good to have massage chairs outside the hot spring area. The water machine was also outside the hot spring area, can’t drink water when you feel dehydrated after hot spring.

Stayed here with husband and toddler (age 3.5 year old) for a night. We arrived at check in time (walked from bus station - about 10-15 min). A shuttle service was available but we decided to walk this time. Service from start to finish was amazing. The hotel was beautiful during the fall season. We stayed in the west wing. Rooms were very spacious and clean. However, the bathroom was a bit small. Dinner was included and was a buffet with several western and Japanese options. Drinks were included - alcoholic and non alcoholic. Breakfast buffet was great too. Get there early for seating near the windows for views. We never felt like there were too many people. We experienced the onsen which was hot at first but then very relaxing. Would recommend it all. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was outstanding. The onsen and private baths were clean and worth every dollar. The only area that needs improvement is the property, as it is a little older. Overall, a fantastic stay and I will be sure to return and stay more than the one night next time!

Very basic comfort and service, crowded and noisey. We’ve found bedding quite uncomfortable. In addition, we had to set up futons for our children ourselves every night. There was no choice of water temperature in the bathroom and toilet. No soap to wash hands with in the toilet. No hand towels. Food was average quality and the restaurant was very crowded and noisey. We booked private onsen - it was quite dirty (windows, ceilings) and the setting wasn’t aesthetically pleasing (not one to enjoy and relax in). The best thing was the view from our lake view room overlooking the lake (and Fuji on the other side).
