Nice clean hotel, good room size, generally quiet at night. Amenities include a gym facility and washing machines guests can use. Staff were helpful, if not overly friendly but this varied based on who was at the desk at the time. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, cafes and restaurants in the area but perhaps the restaurants are not as nice as many travelers would prefer when compared with say Shibuya or central Shinjuku. Still we enjoyed some simple meals like rice bowls, noodles and good coffee within a few mins walk of the hotel. 25min walk to center of Shinjuku; 3min walk to Chuo-Sobu line and 10min walk to Yamanote line. Super convenient spot for metro transit. Was a good base of operations for exploring Tokyo.

This hotel was very convenient to the train and had multiple dining and convenience stores within walking distance. They don’t clean your room everyday, but they replenish towels, coffee amenities and collect your trash daily. Our room had a microwave, stove top, a set of dishes and silverware in addition to pots and pans and a kettle. There is a laundry facility in the building and you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge, they even provided detergent. This was extremely convenient since we packed light and it was very hot and humid in Tokyo during our visit. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. There is no breakfast available at the hotel, and it feels more like you are renting a room in an apartment building than staying at a hotel, but we really liked it. We would totally stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hundred Stay Shinjuku. We have a family of four that include two teenage children. The 4 person accommodations with the large king and two twin beds was perfect. Everyone was comfortable and had enough room to spread out. The kitchen area was a lifesaver every morning for easy breakfast before a long day. We were able to visit the grocery store adjacent to the property, as well as the MANY convenience stores within walking distance. This was helpful since many restaurants do not open for breakfast until 10-11 AM. The property is located walking distance to the Shin Okubo station, so getting around using railway is easy once you get the hang of it! The location is just far enough away from the real hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Shinjuku and Harajuku, but walking distance or by rail. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Perfect place to stay for us!

Was so happy with this apartment/hotel! The room was spacious enough to fit a queen bed and a single bed (we have 3 adults and 1 baby). The bathroom was huge - there's a bathtub and a shower area and the toilet is separate. Even though this is not directly at Shinjuku, the nearest train station is Okubu which is less than 5mins walk away and is one station away from Shinjuku. There's a laundry room with dryer where you can do your laundry for free. The hotel staff is also nice enough to allow us to place our luggages with them before our stay. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a short walk from one of the subway stops and a little farther from another. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. I was not impressed with the hotel - the best part was the view from the 18th floor. Other than that it was the worst of the 4 hotels we stayed in while in Japan - the room was dated, ceiling was peeling, it smelled like mildew, and the bathroom smelled like urine. I would not stay there again.

I rented three rooms for a family of nine. Two of the room had visible mold and all three rooms had an odor. The gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful in obtaining a refund for two of the three nights.

A fantastic place to stay when visiting Tokyo. Staff were very friendly and so helpful and were able to help with all our requirements. The rooms were spotlessly clean and ideal for a weeks stay when coming to the city.

Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is not soundproof at all, you can hear other guests walking around and even some fait talking. The laundry room is quite far in the basement and not super easy to locate. And checkout is a bit early at 10am with a fee for every hour you would like to extend it. It served its purpose and the room was quite large.

Excellent location close to multiple stations and easy to get around. Spacious rooms compared to several other hotels in the Tokyo area. The AC would not go below 20 for some reason, it didn't bother us much so I never spoke to the staff about it, so not sure if it was across all units or just our unit

Stayed in Sky Bunk Bed room. Loved this property for location and amenities Having our own laundry in our room, kitchen and dining area, sofa area to lounge and relax, and Separate bedroom was perfect for our family. We traveled with 3 adults. Bunk bed was cool for adult son. We stayed on the 21 first floor which is the only floor with bay style windows. Because of this we could see Mt Fuji on a clear day to our right even though we faced south towards Shinjuku. We ate dinner 3 times in the area around hotel. All delicious. Okubo station a few minute walk. Aeon convenience store at base of hotel. Great snacks. We travelled all Over the city easily from this location. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Assisted us in English. Our only improvement suggestion would be the beds. We are used to soft beds so these FIRM beds were uncomfortable for us. They provided soft pillows which was awesome. Would recommend staying there especially for families with older kids.

Staff were very polite and spoke great English which is handy but it was the first hotel we had to pay tax on which is weird and they had wifi that must’ve been from Pakistan cause I could barely stay connected for more than 5 minutes and you don’t get any reception up there either so that was a big pain but besides that everything else was primo :)

A nice clean apartment, with two separate bedrooms and an amazing view of Tokyo. It’s not easy to find affordable family rooms in Tokyo (for a family of four) and I would highly recommend the Hundred Stay, especially paying a little more for a room on the top floor.

The front desk staff was very helpful. We found the toiletry table helpful. It was easy to get into and out of the hotel and also easy to get to the nearby train stations. Our room and the hallways and the elevator and the lobby were all nice and clean which we always very much appreciate. If anything, an improvement could be made on the condition of the bed mattress and pillows... we've had better and softer & likewise a better sleep.

Hotel is in a good location near subway and lots of dining options. Staff was sooo nice and helpful! They went out of their way to help me transport my luggage to Kyoto. My luggage could not be transported easily to my next destination so the gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to find another luggage transport company for me. He was so kind and helpful. Spoke English very well!

Our visit to the Hundred Stay was perfect. Everyone was so accommodating from helping us make dinner reservations to helping us send our luggage to Osaka. The room was very clean and larger than we thought. The sleeping arrangement was fun with the bunk bed style. Also we were in the higher level so the view was amazing. I was worried about having one bathroom for so many people but since the toilet and shower were separate that really helped and also in case of emergencies you can go down to the hotel lobby for the bathroom. Our room had a washer and dryer too, which was unexpected. The only thing is the directions were not in English so it would have been nice to have English directions for the washer dryer. I was also worried about the Hotel not being close to stores and restaurants but it was so close to so many stores with 2 seven elevens nearby and a don Quixote, and subway. There is also a money exchange machine in the lobby which was so convenient. would definitely stay here again!! We miss Hundred Stay Hotel!

Our room had a washer and dryer too, which was unexpected. The only thing is the directions were not in English so it would have been nice to have English directions for the washer dryer. I was also worried about the Hotel not being close to stores and restaurants but it was so close to so many stores with 2 seven elevens nearby and a don Quixote, and subway. There is also a money exchange machine in the lobby which was so convenient. would definitely stay here again!! We miss Hundred Stay Hotel!

If you're pulling luggage, the sidewalks are a bit smaller in this area. But, there are many shops and restaurants nearby, so absolutely no complaints. The staff was very friendly, and the room was adequate. Next door to a grocery, and down the street from a Don Q. What more can you ask for? I'd stay here again.

The hotel is in a pretty good location, only 1 stop from shinjuku station 2 routes. Of the two routes, first one (JB line) will take you 5 minutes to walk to the hotel and the other (JY line) about 10-12. The rooms are decent and roomy, but I was surprised it the toilet and shower are separate ends of the room. The washing machine takes forever to dry, but overnight isn’t bad. My group was 3 people and we booked the jr suite for 4-5 people, two of us took the bedroom while 1 the living room. I think another improvement could be the slight smell in the shower, I’m guessing it’s because the whole room is a shower side and tub side so the smell is inevitable. The positives: Location Easy grab yourself amenities Great view of the city skyline Daily drop off of towels, bags, and water. I would book again but get a nicer room.

This hotel was very convenient to the train and had multiple dining and convenience stores within walking distance. They don’t clean your room everyday, but they replenish towels, coffee amenities and collect your trash daily. Our room had a microwave, stove top, a set of dishes and silverware in addition to pots and pans and a kettle. There is a laundry facility in the building and you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge, they even provided detergent. This was extremely convenient since we packed light and it was very hot and humid in Tokyo during our visit. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. There is no breakfast available at the hotel, and it feels more like you are renting a room in an apartment building than staying at a hotel, but we really liked it. We would totally stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hundred Stay Shinjuku. We have a family of four that include two teenage children. The 4 person accommodations with the large king and two twin beds was perfect. Everyone was comfortable and had enough room to spread out. The kitchen area was a lifesaver every morning for easy breakfast before a long day. We were able to visit the grocery store adjacent to the property, as well as the MANY convenience stores within walking distance. This was helpful since many restaurants do not open for breakfast until 10-11 AM. The property is located walking distance to the Shin Okubo station, so getting around using railway is easy once you get the hang of it! The location is just far enough away from the real hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Shinjuku and Harajuku, but walking distance or by rail. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Perfect place to stay for us!

The value and location of the hotel was great. It is near 2 train stations (Okobu and Shin-Okobu) and walkable as with all of Tokyo. Those going to Tokyo should keep in mind there's a LOT of walking and trains to see everything and enjoy. The hotel was clean however did not have many amenities such as in hotel restaurant etc. however there's plenty of local restaurants and only a few minutes from the major Shinjuku area.

Those going to Tokyo should keep in mind there's a LOT of walking and trains to see everything and enjoy. This is my second time staying here over the last year. The room is large for Tokyo and I really enjoy having the Japanese style bath and a kitchenette. The gym on the first floor is basic but is definitely adequate for good workout. The location in convenient to Okubo and Shin-Okubo stations (so one can take Yamanote or Sobu Line). Overall, I love this hotel and will look forward to my next stay there!

I would love to give a better review, but I can't. The price and location are the biggest plusses, and those are the main reasons to stay. The main reasons we were disappointed was the couch which was stained. We actually bought a sheet to put over the couch because it was pretty skeevy. We wouldn't have sat on it otherwise. Having a washing machine would have been a real plus for a stay of a week, but there was a very strong mildew smell that realy his us hear every time we entered the room. If your trying to save money, then this is a good value with 2 train stations close by in a good location, but go in knowing there are some problems too.
