Pros - located in a tourist friendly area with lots of shopping options. I also liked and booked the olace since the suite comes with a kitchen area (its tiny but still it was nice to have a stove that I didnt use!) Offers umbrellas to hotel guests on rainy days. Cons - it was the least clean place I stayed in, ever. There was mold in the shower, lots of it. The showerbead wasnt clean either. They dont replenish laundry detergent, atleast they didnt for us. Mixed feelings : When we reached the person at desk didnt let me check in even though we were just an hour early and didnt even ask for room key and were just dropping off baggage. She had no interest in checking us in, she said her colleague can check us in later. BTW - that colleague was kind and friendly and checked us in with a smile unlike the first person we spoke to - that one was simply irritated that our arrival meant she had to pause her chat with her coworker.

Very clean, bigger than average Tokyo hotel room for price. It was great to have a washer, dryer, nespresso maker, and kitchen. Traditional Japanese bathroom with divided tub/bathing area-showerhead with stool. Great location, walkable to shrines, shopping, kitchen street, subway station and food. The local’s Izakaya street around the corner with interesting (by western standards) menu choices (such as salted squid guts and spicy cod innards) was very fun and the many restaurants in the area were good. Staff were as very helpful and nice.

The property is right in the attraction sidewalk of Asakusa, it is convenient for shopping and dining, but it’s loud and night. The room we stayed needs some painting, the ceiling has yellow stains. The cleanliness is excellent.

Very convenient to have a kitchenette and insuite laundry, quite spacious for a hotel in Tokyo, beautiful view of the Tokyo tower and top of Senso-ji temple from the 5th floor. We didn't notice too much noise from the streetside diners and they closed up shop by about 11pm. Transit is a bit farther from central Tokyo, about 20-30 min by train. It's between two transit lines and the closer one is not included on transit passes but the farther one is accessible by a covered walkway. Stairs down to the train platforms are tricky to get around, need to go to specific stations that have escalators or elevators. The hotel room is worn and showing a bit of age but completely functional and clean as far as we can tell. We would stay here again for the insuite conveniences, proximity to nearby attractions and food, and the space to fully open both our luggages.

We stayed here earlier in the week and had very nice rooms (504/604) but when we returned we were placed in 402/502 which weren’t as nice. The window was frosted so you couldn’t see out, not that it mattered because the window opened to an alley which smelled of greasy food. The room was pretty dark as a consequence. The bathroom was very small with an undersized sink which faced sideways and a tiny counter area. The carpet was threadbare in places and torn in one spot. Was disappointed. Otherwise, the hotel is nice but I wouldn’t stay in those rooms again. Nice location, clean, and friendly staff. The bar next door serves breakfast starting at 7am and has decent coffee. The rooms have a washer/dryer combo and detergent is provided. Close to public transport, shopping, and a myriad dining options.

Just a short walk away from the Asakusa shrine, massive donquijote, and many restaurants. Room was spacious which is rare for Tokyo. Only complaint is that the room could be cleaner. It appeared as though there was maybe smoke stains ? All on the walls and roof. We booked a non-smoking room and it did not smell of smoke however walls were stained. Beyond that, house keeping came every day, and the in room washer/dryer was amazing after already travelling for two weeks. The fridge and stove top were handy for late night snacks and keeping water. Would stay again.

La stanza era ben pulita, silenziosa e di dimensione adatta per due persone. Forse c'è poco spazio per l'apertura dei bagagli, ma per noi non è stato un grosso problema. I materassi (rigidi) erano comodissimi. Molto utile anche la lavasciuga, che ti consente di avviare il bucato prima di uscire per poi trovarlo già ben asciutto quando si rientra la sera. Per quanto riguarda la cucina, non ne abbiamo usufruito. La posizione è eccezionale per visitare al meglio Asakusa. Non troppo distanti vi sono anche due stazioni metro. Nonostante avessimo prenotato una matrimoniale standard, abbiamo potuto godere di una bellissima vista sul Pagoda e Skytree, molto suggestiva soprattutto di sera. Il personale è gentilissimo. Siamo arrivati prima dell'orario del check-in, ci hanno consentito di lasciare le valigie gratuitamente e al nostro ritorno erano già state collocate in camera. Accanto alla reception si possono trovare delle amenities da portare in stanza, tra cui le classiche body towel giapponesi, kit spazzolino e mini dentifricio, fascia capelli, spazzolina portatile, rasoio, caramelline. Senza dubbio consigliato.

Loved the room size, kitchen and washer/dryer option! We were right above Hoppy Street, but the noise didn’t bother us (we use a fan sound for sleeping as always haha). Great location! Super friendly staff. Highly recommended and we’d stay again for sure. (My only complaint would be the pillows… too soft)

A great hotel in the middle of Asakusa, just a short walk from Senso-ji. It is a little bit of a walk from the station so bear in mind if you are carrying luggages. The room itself was very spacious and well equipped with kitchen and washing machine & dryer. Would definitely stay here again if we are looking to stay in the same part of Tokyo!

Residential Hotel B:CONTE Asakusa is a little oasis in the midst of the marvelous busy insanity of Asakusa. We had a room with a small kitchen and it was really great to be able to have breakfast before heading out. I would describe the streets outside as "exuberant" and lively, but it was very quiet inside. The staff was great, and we had everything we needed. It's very fun to be in that neighborhood but also great to have an oasis. It's very close to multiple modes of transportation which is nice, and felt very safe at all hours.

Hotel is just outside of the covered shopping area in Asukasa. All three major convenience stores nearby, as well as a 24 hour Don Quijote. Easy walk to Senso-ji temple and various transit lines. It is a little busy late at night, so some might find it a bit noisy. Room was roughly North American sized. Combo washer/dryer is convenient but doesn't dry as thoroughly as one might expect. Overall, a very pleasant stay and will look at coming back the next time we visit Tokyo

Very well appointed clean room, firm and comfortable queen bed (description said double), Nespresso machine, washer/dryer, very quiet on the street before 10 and after 22 h, hotel is very quiet, excellent A/C, excellent shower and all products available where of good quality. Kitchenette well equipped although we only used it for cold breakfast. Staff at reception are very welcoming and pleasant. Many grocery stores and konbinis very close as are many restaurants and everything a tourist might seek. Many train lines within 5-10 minute walk.

Location was the best for local restaurants and sightseeing. We checked in and settled in one room only to be told they gave us the wrong room and forced to pack up at night time. The room was not much different so I don’t know why they forced us to change when the front desk clearly made the mistake on their own.

Great place to stay a few days exploring Tokyo. Lots of shopping, restaurants, museums and Tokyo Skytree within walking distance. Loved that we had a view of both Senso ji temple and the Skytree from our window. Washer/dryer combo was a big plus, bed comfy and while not big, there was plenty of room for packing.

住宿各方面都不錯，房間夠大擺到兩個篋綽綽有餘，但真係地方有點遠，因為係淺草總站，如果我要去渋谷由淺草總站搭去渋谷線都係總站有點遠，除咗地區交通不太方便，但酒店附近已有四間大型超市非常方便，OK超巿和Life生活百貨超市都非常好逛，不過下次會選擇其他區住宿，始終交通不方便

A wonderfully small hotel, a stones throw from Sensoji temple. In walking distance to everything and lots of food choices. Front desk on duty from 0700-2100 and breakfast was included, vouchers given to the cafe next door. A limited selection of items, all tasty. Photos included are from my window, which opened- that was great! Highly recommend!

Detta är ett superhärligt hotel mitt i Asakusa, där man har nära till det mesta. Det faktum att det inte bjuds på frukost är ju inte ett problem när man har så många restauranger och matbutiker runtomkring. Köket i rummet var utrustat med det som vi behövde och det var härligt att ha en tvättmaskin på rummet. V bodde på våning 7 med utsikt över både Sensoji-templet och Tokyo Sky Tree, så bilderna ljuger verkligen inte! Den breda fönsterbrädan fungerade utmärkt som bord, så man kunde sitta och njuta av utsikten medan man åt frukost eller tog ett glas vin på kvällen! Personalen var alltid trevliga och hjälpsamma. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell!

Impeccably clean with polite, friendly staff. Rooms were well maintained and the area was vibrant, but not noisy. Many dining options nearby and very close to the Senso-ji shrine. Also near a shopping district. Easy access to public transportation. Rooms included a small kitchenette and washer/dryer combo. Breakfast options are limited (if included) at the cafe next door, but the food was good. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the B Conte in Asakusa. The location was ideal, walking distance from both the Tsukuba Express and Asakusa Stations. The staff was great and the room was clean and spacious (by Japan's standards). Also, having a refrigerator and stove allowed us to cook for ourselves and the presence of a washer/dryer in the room was perfect to allow us to wash our clothes. Being near to Don Quixote, Ichiran Ramen, and Uniqlo (although it was closed for renovation), as well as the Nakamise Dori street made this our home away from home while in Japan. Being able to store our luggage at the hotel after checking out allowed us to do some last minute shopping before catching the train to the airport. If / when we come back to Japan, we will definitely stay at the B Conte again!

Had such a great stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Lots of stores and dining just outside too! And very close to nakamise street, sensoji temple, and kaminarimon. You’re also right on Hoppy Street so lots of bar options if you want a night out.
