Was here for 6 days and it was a great pick! Staff is helpful and friendly. They speak great English. I had no trouble communicating to staff. Location is perfect, nearby everything. So convenient! Lots of amenities for you to grab like hair brush, body sponge, etc. Kitchen is fully loaded with induction stove, microwave, hot water heater, silverware, etc. There’s a coffee dispenser in the mornings, umbrellas (if any) leftover from other tourist, food in fridges for you to grab. Laundry in room is so convenient and helpful! It only does a couple days worth of laundry, so not too much can be put into the machine. Dryer can take forever, so I hung dry some of my clothes and it ended up dryer faster than the machine. Shower pressure was amazing and the Refa hair dryers are so good! Making me want to get my own. It’s not the fault of the hotel that smells like sewage. There’s a few of pockets of Tokyo smell like that. Rooms are pretty small, can only have 1 luggage open at a time (Residential Double Room, 18 sqm) but that’s the drawback of staying in a major city. Not a fan of how you have to have a room key inserted into a slot to turn on the lights in your room. Then, when you remove the keys from the slot it turns off all the lights.

Great room, but downside was that there was a smoking area in the elevator hall. While waiting you have to endure the smell. Breakfast is not in the hotel. You need to choose from three restaurants. Breakfast is not for hungry people.

Checkin was so smooth. The room has a good space, a table and two chairs to dine on, even a washing machine and an iron board. Very good for a long stay in a convenient location especially with instant access to tsukiji market. The staff was very kind and the room is in a very clean and good shape. Real value for money in Tokyo. Strongly recommend.

Room was not the cleanest with a visible blood stain on the duvet cover, small bugs in the bathroom, and obvious spots on the far side of the bed that was not clean. Additionally the room where the elevators are located are within the same room that leads to the smoking room and the smell is bad for anyone who is sensitive to smoke.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Tsukiji. The location is super convenient – just a 5-minute walk to Hibiya Line Tsukiji Station, and only 7 stops to Ueno (for Skyliner to Narita Airport) with no transfers. Higashi-Ginza is walkable, and Ginza is just two stops away. The room has a balcony facing Tsukiji Market, offering a nice glimpse of the market atmosphere. It’s very quiet, especially at night, and perfect for longer stays. The room has a washing machine with dryer (very quiet), induction stove, microwave, a larger fridge with freezer, and a Refa hair dryer – my hair was super smooth! I also loved being able to heat my milk and bread for breakfast each morning. Check-out is a breeze with the machine, taking about 30 seconds. The room was clean, though the hotel has a slightly dated feel, so those looking for modern décor might be disappointed. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are many nearby, especially sushi places. Minor drawbacks: I feel the room was just right for one person (I had an 18m² room) but might be tight for two. The elevator area on the first floor is near a smoking room, so sensitive guests might notice some smoke. Overall, I loved the location and amenities, and I’d stay here again on my next Tokyo trip.

Very clean room and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room had its own washing machine which was very handy. We didn’t cook in the room, but it had some basic dishes and a pot. I stayed here about 15 years ago and would stay here again. Great location!

Stayed here for 5 nights and have mixed feelings. The hotel is in great location, walking distance to Ginza and close to multiple stations/metro lines. The room is rather small but well equipped. However it didn’t feel the cleanest. It smelled a bit like sewage, the bathroom had some hair and the toilet seat had a stain. I would probably look for another option next time.

Love this location literally steps from the middle of the fish market. Room was nice and roomy enough for two adult women friends. Washer/dryer and free coffee were gifts from above! Only downside was the sewer-ish smell from the toilet, even when keeping the lid closed.

Impeccably clean, and very high quality. Washer/dryer works well, room cleaning service was great, the amenities offered are all high quality. Would stay again, and would recommend to others. The rooms are very small, probably not ideal for families, but just fine for one or two people.

Rooms is basic. Washer dryer combo was very confusing to navigate but once I watched videos it was easy. Not too much around the area. The selling point is the washer and dryer in your into and the fact that you are right outside Tsukiji market. Train station a short 5 minuet walk away. Lots of shops and restaurants to around during the day but little to none at night

Amazing hotel! The room was large with a lovely balcony, the room had all the amenities we could possibly need! The water pressure was stronger than I had ever experienced, and having a washing machine was a real bonus. Loved our stay here. Thank you so much!

The location was amazing but the hotel itself is a little rundown compared to other Tokyu Stays. That being said, the room was still comfortable. My only complaints: 1) the room I was in let in a lot of natural light (despite using the blinds) making it hard to sleep in; and 2) the room smelled of cigarettes.

while the stay itself was amazing, the true shinning moment was the service and staff. I had an unfortunate situation that led to me missing my first check in day, and the staff from hotels.com and the hotel itself were more than forgiving. I felt truly supported and empathized with through the service workers who tried their best to make sure i could relax. in the end i was given a refund for the first missed day and kept my booking. in a country where you dont speak the language, i have never felt more supported. the actual stay went amazing too, the room was clean and in an amazing location, the staff were always friendly, and the safety was top notch. would recommend!!

Excellent location, a few steps to Tsukiji market and dozens of restaurants. It is also close to different metro lines and Ginza shopping. Hotel staff didn’t understand any English and it was very hard to communicate with even with Google translate. They couldn’t provide any tips or answer any questions we had about neighboring attractions. The room was ok but the cleaning service was sloppy and didn’t replenish basic necessities like toilet paper. Overall, great stay, mainly for location but not good value for your money.

The staff were very helpful! We were able to do luggage forwarding from this hotel to Osaka Hotel with their help. We were also able to do luggage service as they partnered with one of the luggage service vendor, we had an extra luggage we had picked up from the hotel, stored and will be shipped to Narita. The hotel itself is great! They had all the amenities we needed, the washer/dryer came in handy as we uses it everyday! The single room for two people is not bad we had 2 carry-on, 1 medium-sized and 2 large-sized suitcases and all were able to fit. I love how theres a microwave as we can easily heat our food. As for location, it was so easy to get to one place to another theres a bus station and metro station. In the morning tsukiji market is right beside it. There’s lots and lots of food options around the area!! Overall, I’d book here again!

location is good , but all other aspects are dissappointing. they have only minimum cleaning service-just take away trash and change towels. nothing else. the WORST thing -staff do not understand English - the shift as of Oct11-12th. they speak, but they do not understand what are you talking-i ordered taxi and was waiting in the lobby, noticed the taxi driver that was trying to explain to receptionist that he cant make the left turn and stopped just two steps away on the main street. Nobody came to me -i asked them whether it was my taxi-the lady told me that he will come to the entrance. i was waiting for 5 minutes -nothing happened . so i took my luggage and went to this taxi . never will book with this chain

Hotel needs to be clear that if you order the breakfast package then you will have to walk 1-2 blocks away. I traveled all around the world and I have never seen it set up like this or advertised in this way. Very deceptive.

Rooms were small but the washer and dryer in room were free and worked very well. Nice to have the laundry dept there in room. Very clean hotel. The Tokyu stay hotels do vary in amenities. I stayed at one in Shinjuku and it had a great all included breakfast buffet. Nothing like that at this Tokyu stay. I would probably stay at Shinjuku next time.

Great location, there are train stations 4 min walk away, but getting here from the airport by bus would be your best bet, also still have to walk 15min because the limo bus drops off at Ginza station.
