This is a great property for exploring the surrounding neighborhoods of Shinjuku, Harajuku, and even Shibuya. Shin-okubo station is just 2 blocks away and a Don Quijote is literally next door. The property itself is in decent condition with a single elevator and adequate amenities. It's fairly clean overall but you'll find some dust in areas if you're on the tall side. We were on an upper floor with nice city views but no ability to open the window. Note that the main entrance is on the 2nd floor and so you'll need to lug yourself and your luggage there before being able to access the elevator. The room had neither a safe nor a microwave, but did have a fridge and even a room/fabric freshener. The water pressure was mediocre as is the internet speed - fine for browsing but with relatively high ping if you're e-gaming. Despite the nitpicks, the place is a great value for the price in a really convenient location if all you're looking for is a place to put your bags and sleep.

close to Shin Okubo Station, lots of small restaurant, next to DonQ & supermarket but there’s no elevator from the ground floor to the 2nd floor, you have to cary your 50 lbs luggage !

The hotel is quite old. There is a flight of stairs from the hotel entrance to the lobby. Guests must carry their luggage up the stairs because there are no elevators or escalators from the entrance to the lobby. Beware if you have heavy luggage. There is a strong damp and moldy smell when I enter the room, especially in the closet area. I suppose this is because sunlight does not reach that area of the room and the hotel is old. Other than this, the hotel is ok.

For a business hotel, it was much as i expected. Only thing is that there is no elevator from 1F - 2F. But they do have an elevator for the other floors.

Area is very close to Metro station and many activities. Bathroom out of the 80s, but everything works fine, blast from the past. Comfortable pillows and bed. Just enough space for luggage. The guest lounge is more of just a room to microwave your food so that's all we used it for. After the stairs to get to check in there is an elevator so it helps. I would stay here again.

Stayed for 10 days and glad we found this place. We aren’t familiar with Tokyo but we would like to be close to the city and walking distance with some areas that we like to visit and this place was perfect. Its an old building but its well maintained. Clean and they gave you fresh towels everyday, and clean the rooms whenever you asks for it. The room was enough for my husband and I. We love the place, and would be coming back the next time we will visit Tokyo.

急遽決まった正月旅行。駅から近く、周りに商業施設や飲食店が多数あり便利な場所で予約が取れたので利用しました。ディズニーランド帰りのアクセスも悪くなくコリアンタウンでも楽しめます。が、施設は新しいものではなく特に水周りシャワーカーテンはカビ。お風呂の隅々にもカビ。シャワーを使うと詰まってお湯が溜まります。驚いたのは「お湯の流れが悪い時は髪の毛やゴミを取り除いてください支配人」の注意書き。もう利用することはないと思います。

スタッフの方はどなたも親切でした。駅が近く、周りには飲食店やコンビニ・スーパーも遅くまでやっていてとても便利でした。お部屋のベッドの所のライトの電球とテーブル辺りの電球が切れていて部屋が半分暗かったのが残念でした。その他は満足でしたので、また機会があったら利用したいと思います。

The customer service is outstanding. The staff went out there way to accommodate our needs. Beds were firm but it’s better for the back. The room was larger than expected. If you are looking for somewhere basic then this is the place.
