Breakfast meals were top notch with local specialties to try. The meals were the same daily. The rooms were decent and clean but basic wear and tear showing in some areas. The onsen was clean HOWEVER the photos with the nice onsen with multiple pools and sweeping views is ONLY the men’s side. The women’s side is accessible via a code that changes daily (get the code from the front desk daily). There is only one pool, no view, 6 wash stations or so and a shower. Generally not busy or full ever. But disappointing the women’s side didn’t have a similar experience with multiple pools or views.

The breakfast and bath facilities were wonderful, allowing for a very relaxing stay. If I were to make a request, having a convenience store or kiosk on-site would have been even better. Also, since you have to step outside the hotel to find a place for dinner, I recommend checking nearby restaurants in advance for a smoother experience.

I wish the dryers could be upgraded to a fast and more efficient types. I do not mind paying more for each load of laundry to be dried.

The staff had a very high work ethics. The room was clean and the cleaning crews were working diligently. I loved the location where was very convenient to take the city train system. The only thing I did not like was: a man’s hot spring was much bigger and had 4-5 kinds of hot tubs. In contrary, a female had only one hot tub.
