I have stayed here many times. The new On my way! era have let it go downhill. Pool closed, rooms dirty, bedding dirty. Construction rubbish everywhere on the grass. Sad to see it like this, as it was once a good hotel.

The park is old and the current owners are slowly updating the facilities but don't let that deter you, it even has a heated swimming pool! The owners are really friendly and so helpful and the cabin was really clean. Just a short drive to Burnie, with a beach boardwalk across the road it's in a great position. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very disappointed to see the pool was completely empty and inoperable. The DVD player wasn’t working, the shower door couldn’t close which caused water flooding. There was a hole in the wall, the carpet felt sticky and unclean and there was a welcome mat inside that was completely drenched which we had to remove. The welcome booklet was ‘out of date’. The place was spacious and staff were lovely. A lot of work needs to be done to the property.

The cabin was very old and in need of some TLC 25-30yo. The property was quite dusty with a thick layer beneath the lounge and covering skirting boards. When you walk in you can smell how old it is. Being asthmatic we are sensitive to dust. Next door is a high school with their AG section adjoining the fence, so be prepared for a rooster wake up call. Overall the stay was OK, but I probably would look for something different next time.

Property was quite outdated, screen door didnt close, dryer didnt dry clothes even after 2goes, sink leaked, toilet leaked. Only positive was bedding was clean and comfortable.

This was a great facility to base ourselves for our trip out to Stanley, and exploring Burnie. It was an older accomodation, but clean and the owners are working on renovating them. The staff were friendly and were informative of the area and what to go and do and where to eat. The beds were comfy, it had everything we needed for our stay. It is on Bass highway, so it is noisy. It is directly opposite the ocean, with a brilliant walkway that you can see the penguins from.

Very friendly staff. There are roosters next door, in something that looks like a petting zoo, but they didn't wake me up, so that was weird. We got to observe penguins at night on the beach opposite - amazing!

Lovely stay. Quiet, comfortable and very close to the beach and lovely sunrises and sunsets. I had everything I needed, plus just a short walk to a great farmer's market.

Great spot, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Free parking, close to the beach and fairy penguins. We had a 2 bedroom cabin, so not overly spacious but more that enough for our stay.
