The Manager and staff at the Glenferrie were absolutely wonderful . It has a lovely relaxed feel . The food was great and well priced and my husband just loved the tank beer .. Would definitely stay here again ..

This is an extremel pleasant, historic hotel that is in a good location. I like the spa bath in the room and the food in the restaurant downstairs, which you can have brought up via room service is very good.

. The stairs look lovely, but very hard to get up if you have any difficulty walking. I do have a hard time doing that, so maybe a lift of some sort. As I would love to return for stay.

The room was perfect for us. It is in a great location but being one floor up from the pub was extremely noisy, making it hard to sleep. The hotel offers car parking, however there was none when i arrived. Its hardly a car park and should be worded differently in the details. Prepare to park elsewhere. The room is basic but was fine for what we needed. I just probably wouldnt stay again due to the noise.

The room was clean. really nice meals downstairs at the Hotel. As this is an older building there are only stairs to the upper level. The staff were nice and friendly. limited parking spaces out the back for guests. Overall, I would stay there again.

Very noisy, you could hear people walking I. The rooms above us and very noisy in the street . The drink glasses on the table as you walked into the room had a fine layer of dust on them. The bed was rather hard and not pleasant to sleep on. A lot of cosmetic work could be done to improve the overall appearance of the bathroom. On an upside the spa was super big and nice to be in.

Excellent vintage-style hotel near Swinburne campus. Despite being located next to a pub, the noise didn’t bother me. My room featured a whirlpool bath (unexpected!) and two beds (king+single). It was more than reasonably priced for its comfort. The only downside - my window faced a brick wall. I stayed there for two night during my professional visit of the Swinburne University of Technology. Will definitely stay there again when I come back.

I stayed again to work on the weekend teaching university classes. It was easy to get the sleep I needed to wake up perky. The spa bath with the rainfall shower head was really good for relaxing. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones I have slept in at a hotel. The pillows were divine too. The recent upgrade of rooms was historically subtle but very effective in terms of providing more comfort and a sense of luxury.

We stayed here for a week and a half and it was great! Locky was super helpful on check in and assisted us with our bags up the stairs. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. The location is fabulous, super convenient to get to the train and heaps of restaurants to try within a five minute walk. We will definitely stay again
