Parking needs lots of maintenance. Asphalt is behond its life expentency with numerous pot holes. No marking for parking which cause people to park where ever and makes travelling difficult. It would also amper the mouvement of firetruck or ambulance in case of emergency. Even if we are reaching summer, the nights are colds. It was 7 degrees Celcius overnight (45F). The heat was turned off in the hotel and there was no extra blankets available in the room, like you would find in many establishment. Breakfast was nothing to write home about.

The clerk at the front desk was rude and scary. The hotel was run down and the parking lot was unlit. In my over 30 years of travelling both domestically and internationally this was hands down the worse experience I have encountered.

#1) Outdoor lock loose and appeared unsafe. #2) Front desk clerk incapable of engaging in simple English. #3) Pass keys (magnetic cards) frequently did not allow entry from parking lock once out. Including into room. Had to get clerk to check them. 2x #4) No microwaves in rooms. And to find one was difficult because.... #5) ...because the way-finding signage was extremely poorly defined if at all present. #6) Wheelchair ramp unsafe...in fact possibly hazardous. Cracked and leaning nuel posts, uneven floor boards and loose or detached spindles. This is definitely a safety hazard and should be attended to immediately. #7) In room...a couple of spiders and poorly finished bathroom. No privacy between sink for washup and main room. #8) In room a wad of somebody's hair was lying on the floor completely visible. I'd say the cleaning crew is negligent or uncaring.

Déjeuner excecrable, odeur de vomis/urine et humidité partout. Piscine non fonctionnel en plein été. Plancher de salle de bain gommant. Tapis degeulasse. Impossible de parler à un vrai responsable. I checked into this property after 10pm. Then around 1 I went to go to bed only to see a cockroach scurrying back toward the headboard. Gone before I could get a picture I am not pleased with the staff at all told me that I need a picture to prove it. Very disappointing stay to say the least.

The bed was too soft and squeaky every time we move. It felt old and was very uncomfortable. The sink was almost plugged (slow to drain). AC/heat unit smells, heater was not working, we had a thin blanket and was cold at night. There were mold on the silicone in the shower so we did not use.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. This hotel was nothing like the photos online. The images were clearly outdated or misleading. In reality, the facilities were extremely run down. There were holes in the walls, water stains on the ceilings, and an overall sense of neglect throughout the property. Cleanliness was also a major issue — the room felt dirty and uncomfortable, making it hard to relax or feel at ease during my stay. It's clear that the hotel is in need of serious maintenance and better housekeeping standards. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made. Very disappointing and not worth the price.

The rooms were updated, but when I moved the table between the beds to plug in my phone it seemed like the surfaces of things might be getting cleaned, but not deep cleaned to ensure everything is cleaned up from previous people.

Smelled musty and old every where. Extremely run down. Dirty. Our shower curtain had mold on it. Beds were not comfortable. Windows wouldn’t open to air out the smell. Breakfast options included powdered eggs and fruit cocktail from a can.

The room was dirty, phone did not work, there was bedbugs I had to shake covers and we got bites, room had old curtains was off the hooks I had to fix it myself. Conclusion for the amount of money I paid I would have been better off at a shelter. I stayed in many hotels on my trip never encountered something like this. I was not given the WIFI password I had to call the front desk using my cell to get it because phone not working. Disgusting place.

The new bathroom shower fixture was very good but the shower tub and bathroom were not. The enclosure had damage to the acrylic paneling. The tub did not drain and so you were left standing in water. The room Air conditioning/heating unit had no discernible labels to know how to set the temperature in the room. The phone in the room did not work properly with the indicator light (that the phone was connected) not on. The Wifi, though free, was intermittent, going on and off. Having some work to do...online...this was very disappointing. The bathroom light had a decorative fixture (ring), that fell off. Sound carried too much through the wall from the adjacent room (not untypical for hotels depending on age, but not helpful). The staff were polite and helpful, interacting with me in both French and English. This was good. The hotel seemed a 'cheap' one stop, overnight type of experience. In that regard it did provide 'shelter'. I did not visit the morning breakfast, so have no comment on this. The room was subpar compared to other Travel lodges I have stayed at, which are not, of course expected to be five star facilities. One other note, the hallways, the one time I traveled through them were dirty, perhaps not unexpected with the nature of the facility but disappointing. I am generally very flexible and 'forgiving' in terms of just having to have a good place to stay for a few nights. In the case of this facility or at least room and utility, it was not good.

Would NOT recommend this hotel. You can see this hotel was once grand, yet so far from that now. We had an outside door and a hall door that both had gaps, leaving a constant wind tunnel, along with a not required adjoining door, very noisy. There was no way to control heat or air conditioning in the room. It went down to 9°C, a thin sheet and tiny blanket on the bed, and no spare linens, left us freezing. The staff were completely disinterested in providing any assistance, including WiFi password, stacks of room keys on the counter, while staff chatted with friends on the phone, unable to explain where the best place was to park, etc.

Staff was very helpful in a less than ideal situation. This is an older motel. Our first room, the locks did not work after receiving multiple new keys we were locked out of our room with all our stuff in it (tough after a long travel day) and the A/C was very loud. We were moved to a renovated room, and the room was clean and comfortable. Neighbours were loud and smoking indoors throughout our stay. No on-site restaurant or lounge. Fine spot to overnight.

I was there for my son’s hockey tournament. Not one family was happy. The worst experience ever! I even had my room broken into and hotel doesn’t care. Ignoring the whole situation. Keys were not working and staff giving out keys without any verification of ID.

Mauvaise expérience, il n'y avait personne à l'accueil (attendre 10 min min ) ensuite les cartes magnétiques pour ouvrir les chambres ne fonctionnent pas. la chambre n'avait été nettoyée correctement ( reste de café fait pas l'ancien chambreur, oreiller mal propre sur le lit) pas de chauffage dans les chambres et température extérieur de 5degrés, donc on gèle toute la nuit. beaucoup de pluie durant le week-end et l'eau s'infiltre pas la porte et inonde le tapis de la chambre. vraiment décevant comme expérience

Look up some reviews on trip advisor and you’ll see what is wrong with this hotel. Suspicious behaviour at the front desk. Rude staff, filthy hallways, suspicious individuals on property, mattress had unidentifiable black specks in the crevices. Mattress cover had what appeared to be a blood stain (blotch), that was not washed clean. Scratches and scuff marks along dirty carpeted hallways. Most unacceptable Motel/hotel I have ever Walked into. Staff (totally unprofessional), were lacking manners and speaking what appeared to be an African language between themselves (in relation to our stay). I asked for the Managers name and the guy behind counter refused to provide that and gave me a generic card to call hotel back next day. Er also had problem asking for refund but I sorted that out with Expedia that night.

L'hôtel est situé directement en face d'une grosse usine Kruger. Environnement industriel autour de l'hôtel. Les lits étaient propres, mais en général, les planchers étaient sales. Salle de bain propre. Désuétude générale de l'établissement, sauf pour le lobby. J'ai un véhicule électrique et très peu de prises fonctionnaient à l'extérieur. Borne gratuite située dans le stationnement adjacent cependant. Déjeuner moyen au niveau de la qualité des aliments.

My family and friend rented 2 rooms that were situated in the back. First we asked to be beside one another. We add 3 rooms apart. Second, my friends arrived earlier so that they could swim, pool was on construction. No where on the Booking site or even Emails received that there was a mention of the pool being on repair. Fourth, our view was a mountain of dirt. Fifth, not a lot of light in the back. When we arrived around midnigh, there was 3 poeple arguing in the parking and there was a person sitting outside in the dark. A bit scary... Finally, at breakfast, my son as celiac disease and I have ask the personal if they could cook 2 egg in a clean pan to make sure that he can eat safe and their was NO. His breakfast was a yogourt that I ask for because no more on the table and 2 sausages that I have brought. For my other son, there was no more sausage. Also, not a lot of variety reagrding bread wise. Over all , we were very desapointed. Photos on site looks better that the reality.

Bed was fairly comfortable, room could use an up grade. It has been a wonderful large hotel at one time. Hot breakfast was excellent and ready at 6 am. Front desk host was very polite, professionally dressed and courteous.

Room was okay but they didn’t prepare hot breakfast as the hotel occupancy was low. There was just toast and muffin. that’s what they said and I complaint to the receptionist he said that I should complaint to the either ceo or hotel director. That’s not an answer you would expect. So next time if no option is left then I might book it.
