This island stole my heart. The clearest seawater I have ever seen at a beach. It is true that the spa is not the best; a lot of things don’t work. But my massage was good and overall this was a lovely holiday

The private beach area was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. I wish I had booked B&B instead of half board other than that everything was lovely.

Good hotel with a great outlook and private beach which is fantastic. Housekeeping is very good and the staff are generally friendly. We had good massages in the spa, our room was good and we really enjoyed our stay. I’ve knocked off one star for several reasons. The “fitness area” is appalling, the worst I have ever seen. It is outside, which is the first negative, there are two machines, one of which is broken, there is a wooden pergola around it which is about to collapse and it is strewn with rubbish. They really need to find somewhere inside for a proper gym. Also breakfast ends at 10 which is far too early for a holiday resort, should be 11. If you want a lie-in or morning swim in the sea it doesn’t leave you much time as even getting there at 9:30 you feel rushed, it is not a relaxing start to your holiday day. Everything is cleared away by 10:05. Also checkout is 10, should be 11am. The hotel does need a bit of updating, the reception area decor is just weird. Having to call reception to change the temperature in your room is odd, but we got it right the first day of our 4 night stay so have no issue with it.

The hotel is beutiful, clean and the staff are great. The location on the island is perfect. The price of food and drink is reasonable and in line with local establishments. Unfortunately the hotel is badly let dow by its spa. Most of the spa facilities are broken. Out of all the facilites available only the steam room was functional.

We really appreciated the spa and the private beach. The trails around the island are also a big bonus. Nice room, but the cleanliness could improve in the bathroom. Mostly friendly staff.

We were disappointed in the services promised for fitness facilities and breakfast. One of the main reasons we We choose this hotel because the profile said ir had fitness facilities. The images looked like it had gym equipment. When we arrived we looked everywhere for the gym but could not find it. When we asked staff about it they told us they only have an “outdoor gym” that may not be operating because they had rainy weather. We finally found the equipment outside. There were two pulley operated machines but one was not useable because the cable was broken. Someone had manually tied the cable but it still had no tension so the machine was not usable. We used the in house travel agents to book our airport transfer on the last day. They said we had to leave at 6:45 and it would take about 3-4 hours to get to Split airport. Because the breakfast opened at 7am, they said the hotel could provide us with a boxed breakfast. I arranged a box breakfast with the hotel reception the day before, giving them our room number. Number of occupants and time of depature. Unfortunately when we checked out the next day the lady at receptions said they did not have a breakfast for us and that another family who checked out earlier took our breakfast. I understand that musk takes happen so I asked if she could simply get us some yogurt, fruit and bread for our long journey but she said she can’t. I found this confusing as I knew there were staff one flore below preparing breakfast.

The hotel is VERY NICE! The reason it’s not a 5 for me is initially they gave me some push back with an upgrade I was due to get but eventually after a couple of days got it together. The other thing that may matter most to you all is one of the jacuzzis don’t bubble up, the whirl pool which is so nice idk if it’s suppose to do something but it didn’t it was just a pool (amazing view). The gym I felt was advertised to be more than it was but it was still effective, I think they should add more to it but again still effective. For those reasons it’s not 5 star I would give it 4.5. I would definitely stay there again because the spa was very nice, jacuzzi nice, food was decent (morning breakfast hot and cold foods was good, the restaurants in the area are so delicious and very close in proximity.

We were grateful that the hotel had air conditioning and access to a beautiful beach. Still, we were disappointed in the fitness facilities and staff communication. The advertised fitness facility was a significant factor in our decision to stay at your hotel. However, we were disappointed to find that it only had a very small “outdoor gym” with two machines, one of which was broken and unusable. For future guests who value a well-equipped fitness facility, this might be a point to consider. The hotel provides very good breakfast. On our last day, we had to leave 15 minutes before the breakfast opened at 7 am so we arranged a box breakfast with the hotel reception the day before, giving them our room number. Number of occupants and time of departure. Unfortunately, when we checked out the next day, the receptionist said they did not have breakfast for us and that another family who had checked out earlier had taken our breakfast. I understand that mistakes happen, so I asked for a simple breakfast - yogurt, a piece of fruit and bread for our long journey, but we were told it was impossible. I found this confusing as I knew several staff members were one floor below preparing breakfast. Eventually, we were given two small plain yogurts for our journey (no spoons).

Beautiful Island, super clean hotel, breathtaking views from our room and outside. Lovely infinity outsde pool.Lovely staff and very friendly Wish there was more ferries/transpot to Dubrovnic and trips to other places from the hotel. Highly recommended: Lafodia is located on a beautiful island of Lopud (Croatia) with lots of forests, fantastic hiking trails, crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea and plenty of good restaurants. The hotel is very nice, with fantastic beach, great food and super kind staff. My room was squeaky clean. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money. See u next summer, hotel Lafodia.

My partner and I stayed here for five days and it was lovely. The room was clean and modern and the views were incredible. The staff were all friendly. The breakfast was decent and dinners were great. The spa and spa staff were also amazing.

Et flott hotell med nydelig utsikt. 2 uker uten en sky på himmelen. Svært varmt og høy luftfuktighet. Med godt fungerende aircondition ble det svært behagelig i hotellet. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening! Et minus at kjøkkenet stenger kl 22.00. Ved sein ankomst, etter en lang reise, var det ikke mulig å få så mye som en peanøtt. Renhold i hotellet er meget bra. Men, på stranden var det heller dårlig! I dusjene var det store områder med glatt grønske. Her skulle det vært spylt og kostet daglig. Toalettrommet i strand området kunne også vært holdt rent gjennom dagen! Tilbud om dusj i spa avdelingen før avreise er bra, men fasilitetene heller dårlige! Minnet om garderoben i gymmen på skolen. Det manglet dessuten lys på herretoalettet! Hvis Renhold i strand området hadde blitt bedre, og at man fikk nye strand håndklær daglig (fikk nytt 3.hver dag!) ville oppholdet vært adskillig bedre.

Beautiful location and views. Wonderful amenities however we arrived too late to enjoy most. Room was very large and well laid out, clean and fabulous balcony with views. Enjoyed buffet breakfast.

Tranquil car-free island. Paths to walk, beautiful views, sea and pool to swim. This hotel just gets everything write - rooms all seem to have sea views, balcony, comfy bed. We were in early July - so not yet peak season - but really calm. Good music on every other night, out by the sea. The staff are amazing. Everything super clean. Breakfast good. Hotel private beach is great (nicer than the sandy one on the other side of the island). Very much want to go back to this place!

Lafodia The biggest and grandest hotel on the island. Clean and very well appointed, staff very friendly and helpful, This was our fourth visit to the island and second to Lafodia, Breakfast was good and plentiful with several restaurant’s bakery and supermarket near by. The hotel and island are very played back and tranquil. But not cheap. Dinner for two can easily be £100. The not so good bits The bedroom temperature is controlled via reception which is a pain to ring every time you want a change. The wi fi is none existent could not use for the entire holiday, when I complained I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and a response it is an island, yes the same island where most of the restaurants Han BG signal! The bedrooms are well appointed and appear clean, but the maid missed ours one day, two other days only changed the towels and left no cleaning, on our last full day all the bedding was changed bizarre, the top up of tea coffee and milk was hit and miss. Yes we have booked for next year but the hotel and island are getting too expensive. C G Murphy

I simply loved everything about RMH Lafodia. The moment I arrived to Lopud, I was delighted about the location of the hotel. I go in, I received the best welcome from the staff! They were very very friendly especially Ivana. At that point, even before seeing my room and the other facilities, I knew I would have an excellent stay with them. My room was super clean and comfortable. The facilities, including the private beach & the spa were very well maintained. The breakfast was of a good variety. The green space was something else. I really had the best stay there (I travelled solo) and I will be going back again soon!

We arrived on the beautiful island and made our way from the ferry drop off to the hotel where we received a warm welcome. The room was great and the “partial sea view” we had booked was definitely selling it short given the great view of the sea that we had from the 6th floor. I had pre booked a body scrub for both of us and the service from Luciano and his colleague was unbelievable. Fully recommend. He tapered the service to exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for looking after us so well. The beach area at the hotel is great and the waters clear and stunning. The local area is also amazing. There’s a decent fitness set up on the top of the hotel which does the job too. The pool area was very nice with lovely views. The only thing I thought was a little steep was the price of soft drinks. €5.50 for a Coke Zero can felt a bit excessive. But that’s just a small niggle. Fully recommend the hotel and the island though, we had a great stay and 3 nights just weren’t enough.
We arrived on the beautiful island and made our way from the ferry drop off to the hotel where we received a warm welcome. The room was great and the “partial sea view” we had booked was definitely selling it short given the great view of the sea that we had from the 6th floor. I had pre booked a body scrub for both of us and the service from Luciano and his colleague was unbelievable. Fully recommend. He tapered the service to exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for looking after us so well. The beach area at the hotel is great and the waters clear and stunning. The local area is also amazing. There’s a decent fitness set up on the top of the hotel which does the job too. The pool area was very nice with lovely views. The only thing I thought was a little steep was the price of soft drinks. €5.50 for a Coke Zero can felt a bit excessive. But that’s just a small niggle. Beautiful location and views. Wonderful amenities however we arrived too late to enjoy most. Room was very large and well laid out, clean and fabulous balcony with views. Enjoyed buffet breakfast.

Tranquil car-free island. Paths to walk, beautiful views, sea and pool to swim. This hotel just gets everything write - rooms all seem to have sea views, balcony, comfy bed. We were in early July - so not yet peak season - but really calm. Good music on every other night, out by the sea. The staff are amazing. Everything super clean. Breakfast good. Hotel private beach is great (nicer than the sandy one on the other side of the island). Very much want to go back to this place!

Lafodia The biggest and grandest hotel on the island. Clean and very well appointed, staff very friendly and helpful, This was our fourth visit to the island and second to Lafodia, Breakfast was good and plentiful with several restaurant’s bakery and supermarket near by. The hotel and island are very played back and tranquil. But not cheap. Dinner for two can easily be £100. The not so good bits The bedroom temperature is controlled via reception which is a pain to ring every time you want a change. The wi fi is none existent could not use for the entire holiday, when I complained I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and a response it is an island, yes the same island where most of the restaurants Han BG signal! The bedrooms are well appointed and appear clean, but the maid missed ours one day, two other days only changed the towels and left no cleaning, on our last full day all the bedding was changed bizarre, the top up of tea coffee and milk was hit and miss. Yes we have booked for next year but the hotel and island are getting too expensive. C G Murphy

Das Bett war schön gross und die Matratze war für uns perfekt und nicht durchgelegen. Der Zimmerservice kam täglich am morgen zwischen 9.30 und 10.30Uhr und hat die Zimmer gut gereinigt. Es ging mal vergessen den Kaffee aufzufüllen aber die Sauberkeit war super. Die Zimmerreinigung war sehr freundlich. Der Service im gesamten, also Restaurant, Zimmer, beach boys, Empfang, Transfer war hervorragend und hat alle wünsche erfüllt. Sie waren von A-Z sehr freundlich und haben mit voller motivation gearbeitet. Man kann individuell anreisen, ist die günstige variante und man kann über das Hotel dierekt einen Transfer buchen. Wir hatten beides, hin zu individuell mit 15 Minuten Fussmarch von der Fähre zum Hotel, retour mit dem Transfer vom Hotel, absolut unkompliziert und die schnellste variante. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, mit einigen Angeboten für Wassersport (Jetski, SUP, Ozean Kajak). Es fehlt einem an gar nix (abhängig von den eigenen Erwartungen und bedürfnissen). Die Preise auf Lopud sind im oberen segment. Es gibt eine top Gastronomie auf der Insel, aber man kann auch günstig essen gehen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

A bit run down, definitely not 4 star place. The staff at the reception was clueless, most of the time they answered to simple questions (like ferry price) "I don’t know". Total lack of basic customer service skills, since the correct answer is "I'll find out". Also we had to have a plummer come into our room 3, yes 3 times, during the same day to repair the bathroom. When I called the reception the 3rd time it was 10 p.m. and the blummers fixed the toilet for 20 minutes. So, if you're looking gor a basic stay with quite a bit of money, this is ok. If you’re looking for a quality 4 star hotel, take your money elsewhere. I recommend the neigbouring island with a couple of better options.

The beach was wonderful, breakfast could be better as there is no change on the menu so every day is the same and pastries cold look better, staff very friendly, charges made to the room very difficult to understand when they give you the final statement as there is no regards between what you know you paid at restaurants and the way they show you the charges at the reception on the day you are leaving.

We were disappointed in the services promised for fitness facilities and breakfast. One of the main reasons we We choose this hotel because the profile said ir had fitness facilities. The images looked like it had gym equipment. When we arrived we looked everywhere for the gym but could not find it. When we asked staff about it they told us they only have an “outdoor gym” that may not be operating because they had rainy weather. We finally found the equipment outside. There were two pulley operated machines but one was not useable because the cable was broken. Someone had manually tied the cable but it still had no tension so the machine was not usable. We used the in house travel agents to book our airport transfer on the last day. They said we had to leave at 6:45 and it would take about 3-4 hours to get to Split airport. Because the breakfast opened at 7am, they said the hotel could provide us with a boxed breakfast. I arranged a box breakfast with the hotel reception the day before, giving them our room number. Number of occupants and time of depature. Unfortunately when we checked out the next day the lady at receptions said they did not have a breakfast for us and that another family who checked out earlier took our breakfast. I understand that musk takes happen so I asked if she could simply get us some yogurt, fruit and bread for our long journey but she said she can’t. I found this confusing as I knew there were staff one flore below preparing breakfast.

We were grateful that the hotel had air conditioning and access to a beautiful beach. Still, we were disappointed in the fitness facilities and staff communication. The advertised fitness facility was a significant factor in our decision to stay at your hotel. However, we were disappointed to find that it only had a very small “outdoor gym” with two machines, one of which was broken and unusable. For future guests who value a well-equipped fitness facility, this might be a point to consider. The hotel provides very good breakfast. On our last day, we had to leave 15 minutes before the breakfast opened at 7 am so we arranged a box breakfast with the hotel reception the day before, giving them our room number. Number of occupants and time of departure. Unfortunately, when we checked out the next day, the receptionist said they did not have breakfast for us and that another family who had checked out earlier had taken our breakfast. I understand that mistakes happen, so I asked for a simple breakfast - yogurt, a piece of fruit and bread for our long journey, but we were told it was impossible. Tolles Personal, die Lage ist ebenso einzigartig. Sehr sauberes Hotel mit toller Ausstattung. Negativ fällt auf: - Zum Hotel kommen gestaltet sich schwierig wenn man Ort und Gegebenheit nicht kennt. (Am besten mit den Shuttle Bus zum Hafen fahren und dort mit der Fähre weiter, nur die Stationen für die Tickets zu finden ist teilweise nervig.) Ebenso muss man ab Hafen Lopud die Koffer durch die ganze "Fußgängerzone" ziehen. - Es steht viel in der Beschreibung und man glaubt es ist inkludiert. Aber fast alles kostet extra. Und das sind auch nicht Preise die man so unbedingt erwartet. (40 € für einen Wein ist hier normal, ebenso 12€/h für den Tennisplatz). - Das Buffet ist vollkommen in Ordnung, aber nicht unbedingt gut. Es reicht mehr als gut aus, aber die Qualität ist manchmal nur gerade so akzeptabel. Nicht, dass es schlecht wäre, aber einen trockenen Fisch oder Fleisch isst man nicht allzu gerne. Ebenso werden manche Sachen nicht frisch zu bereitet, da sie von der Hoteleigenen Pattisserie kommen. - Viele Sachen, wo man sich davor dachte "Wow, dass siehst so toll aus, ich kann es kaum erwarten es zu benutzen" darf man nicht benutzen, weil es für die "Premium" Gäste reserviert ist. Die bleiben natürlich den ganzen Tag über leer..... aber setzt man sich da drauf, kommt natürlich sofort jemand, der sagt, dass man da nicht sitzen darf. Im Großen und Ganzen würden wir aber wieder dort Urlaub machen. Es war toll und sehr entspannend.

Même si nous sommes une île, l'hotel fait en sorte que le transfert entre l'aeroport et l'hotel se fasse avec facilité. Aucune voiture sur l'ile. Sentiers pour aller marcher. Plages. Eau magnifique! Bons restos à proximité de l'hôtel et à l'hôtel. Nous avons adorés et retournerons assurément!

han de tener en cuenta que este hotel esta en una isla con un servicio de ferry muy limitado. hay solo 4 al dia. Nadie nos aviso de esto. Llegamos tarde para poder subir en el ultimo ferry y perdimos nuestra reserva. Tuvimos que buscar otro hotel para nuestra estancia. Deberian de avisar de esta particularidad.

We stayed in the Sky Cloud Suite and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful with any request. Small downside was that we arrived on a national holiday and there were no ferries going to the island until 8:30 PM so we were landlocked in Dubrovnik for almost the whole day (there are worse places to be stranded for sure). This is something the hotel could've warned us about and they could've even earned a sale on their own (expensive) private transfer. All-in-all, we enjoyed the stay and we would recommend this place, at least in the early season when we visited and not at the full price we would've paid in summer.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. From the moment we arrived on the hotel’s private boat transfer( the only way to travel!), we were greeted by friendly staff, a lovely room and a beautiful view from everywhere in the hotel. Activities were easy to book but lying on the private beach or pool was easier! We did feel the restaurant prices were too expensive but there are other restaurants a short stroll away. The evening live music in the bar was just the right touch. Thanks for a great holiday.

Het hotel ligt prachtig, op een mooi eilandje. De uitstraling is een en al luxe. Super, heel vriendelijk personeel! Het varen met de lokale ferry naar Dubrovnik is een leuk tripje.

Beautiful Island, super clean hotel, breathtaking views from our room and outside. Lovely infinity outsde pool.Lovely staff and very friendly Wish there was more ferries/transpot to Dubrovnic and trips to other places from the hotel. Spa facilities could have been better, not working spa pool and jacuzzi. Lovely breakfast. Overal Croatia is too espensive.

Tout était parfait mais je mettrais un bémol en ce qui concerne la restauration : - petit déjeuner copieux mais la qualité est insuffisante pour un 4 étoiles (ex. : jus d'orange industriel, viennoiserie. - absence d'accompagnement (apetizers : cacahuètes, petits toasts,....) quand on prenait un cocktail à l'apéritif. - les plats proposés au restaurant de plage ne sont pas très bons ( pizzas remplies de fromage, vraps et clubs sandwichs chauds qui seraient meilleurs froids....° Pour résumer, la quantité est privilégiée à la qualité à mon avis, ce qui ne correspond pas à mes attentes quand je prend un hôtel de ce niveau. Absolutely fantastic hotel, it was quiet and comfortable. Exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. The inclusive breakfast had plenty of variety and was delicious. We would definitely recommend this property to other couples looking for a quiet retreat from hectic lives

We arrived on the beautiful island and made our way from the ferry drop off to the hotel where we received a warm welcome. The room was great and the “partial sea view” we had booked was definitely selling it short given the great view of the sea that we had from the 6th floor. I had pre booked a body scrub for both of us and the service from Luciano and his colleague was unbelievable. Fully recommend. He tapered the service to exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for looking after us so well. The beach area at the hotel is great and the waters clear and stunning. The local area is also amazing. There’s a decent fitness set up on the top of the hotel which does the job too. The pool area was very nice with lovely views. The only thing I thought was a little steep was the price of soft drinks. €5.50 for a Coke Zero can felt a bit excessive. But that’s just a small niggle. Fully recommend the hotel and the island though, we had a great stay and 3 nights just weren’t enough.

Beautiful location and views. Wonderful amenities however we arrived too late to enjoy most. Room was very large and well laid out, clean and fabulous balcony with views. Enjoyed buffet breakfast.

The beach was wonderful, breakfast could be better as there is no change on the menu so every day is the same and pastries cold look better, staff very friendly, charges made to the room very difficult to understand when they give you the final statement as there is no regards between what you know you paid at restaurants and the way they show you the charges at the reception on the day you are leaving.

It was all pretty perfect. Our only annoyance was that at 5pm we asked about eating dinner in one of the hotels restaurants but were told we'd have to wait until 9pm; seems they need to add dining capacity for peak season.

Quarto confortável, café da manhã farto com especial dedicação da atendente Marina, Buffet no jantar muito bom, ingredientes de boa qualidade podendo melhorar no tempero… Bar da piscina com um ótimo atendimento pelo Vitor. Spa perfeito e gym com poucos aparelhos. Atendentes na recepção solícitos mas inflexíveis no horário do check in e check out mesmo havendo possibilidade para tal.
