We enjoyed our one night stay at the hotel. Our room had a window A/C and we were cool and comfortable. Room only had 2 bath towels so we asked for extras at front desk. Pretty setting and really nice pool and hot tub. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was buffet style. All in all a good visit.

Right next to the heritage site. Very good breakfast with homemade jam, fresh food, juices, pastries. Room was cozy and nice. Hot tub and pool (sadly unheated). If you want to get a cottage, what Expedia doesn’t tell you is that they are only available with a two night stay.

This place is lovely and absolutely delightful. The staff are exceptionally friendly and incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Over our two-night stay, we had a good time relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi and taking advantage of the DVD rental service. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a delicious start to each day. Next time we'll be bringing our parents along!

This was a lovely in with a perfect name for our Green Gables venture. We stayed in the inn but there were several cottages which would be great for a family vacation. The staff was very friendly and we loved that they had a DVD lending library.

Super clean and comfy bed. Breakfast was homemade and tasty. Especially enjoyed homemade whip cream and blueberry sauce for French toast bake. Some nights there was cookies or apple pie bars out for guests. Wish we could have had fire one of the nights but we weren’t there on those scheduled nights. Was concerned our first floor room would be noisy and not private but no issues at all. Hot tub was clean but outside towels provided were thin and looked old.

Great set up, cottages form a circle around a large grass space with picnic tables and playpark. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was lots for the kids to do (park, pool, hottub, giant chess set, fire pit) and everything was clean and well maintained. We had a great stay, and will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Inn. Was a cute and very clean place to stay. Loved the antique decor...Green Gables vibes. The pool was great and lovely grounds. Delicioud breakfast! Will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend.

Lovely clean rooms. Quiet bucolic area, close to parks and ocean views. Excellent restaurants within a short drive. The breakfasts included are delicious, homemade and served in a comfortable lovely room. People are friendly, helpful and polite. A delightful inn for a relaxing stay.

This property is off the main drag – when we first pulled into town I was worried we were in a very commercial busy area but it’s off of a quiet lane and has a large green property. We were able to walk directly to Green Gables on a wooded path And had the best dinner of our trip in North Rustico, which is just 10 minutes away. The whole property is so clean. It appears like they bleach everything Or every surface is repainted every day! The breakfast was delicious. We were able to sit outside on the veranda and enjoyed the beautiful day . Our room was in the guesthouse and had a very comfortable bed and excellent shower

I experienced a cleaning service that was incomplete, leaving behind a dirty cleaning cloth and a partially cleaned room. When I informed the front desk they were also confused. The lady in the front desk was kind and helpful but it was very weird to come back to a room, where clean my room sign was flipped, bathroom was super neat but room was left as is with cloth on the chair. I also lost my very precious swimsuit in the hotel during my stay.

The property was excellent and kid friendly. Staff was pleasant. Housekeeping staff needs a bit more training. But problems mentioned were promptly and politely resolved. I’ll recommend this place to others visiting Cavendish.

I can't say enough good about our stay here. The staff were always friendly, the facilities were top notch and the breakfast each morning was delicious. I loved sitting on the big porch with a fresh cup of coffee each morning and watching the sunrise. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and when we opened the door to our room, we found a beautiful note, a bottle of sparkling cider and a bag of assorted chocolates. It was the best place we could have stayed to celebrate our years together and Kindred Spirits Inn will hold a special place in our hearts!

A comfortable stop on our travels on PEI. Our room was on the main floor which meant we had to have our blinds closed for any privacy. I would prefer a better hair dryer. Otherwise responsive and welcoming staff, a clean room and a good breakfast.

I really wanted to like this more. It was fairly average. Nothing was bad. The biggest issue was the bathroom. The bathroom was clean but outdated and old. The shower was a tiny standup shower where you couldn't bend over without having to open the shower door. Also, the toilet was directly behind the door and directly against the wall where you could not sit on the toilet seat without having to sit sideways. Crazy. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy. I was thankful for the window AC unit during the hot summer but it was also very loud. I paid over $300 a night. I expected a little better. The pool on site was nice. Our included breakfast was basic but good. I wouldn't stay here again for the price I paid, though.

The rooms were roomy with window A/C units that were quiet and effective. The property was pretty and well maintained. The breakfast included a selection of egg cups. The service was a little slow (not enough water, no decaf coffee, not enough silverware, not enough clean cups). Do not expect to get real internet at this property. When the day staff and the maintenance staff arrive around 8:30am, the bandwidth drops to zero and you won't even be able to load and read your email. Compared to most of the other hotels we stay in, not having a competent internet seems way below par for the price we paid. Our room had a king size bed and a very nice alcove with a couch. We liked that they provided plates, silverware in addition to the standard wine glasses and cups, coffee maker and mini fridge. Yet there was only one chair and no table to each on. There was plenty of room for a table and chairs, so we were mystified at why they were missing. Also, no coffee table for in front of the sofa or desk. We stay in a lot of hotels and they all have a table or desk to use with a computer.

We had a three night stay at the inn. Our room was beautiful and had a porch with seating. The property is very well kept and quiet. Breakfast was buffet and the only negative comment I have is that the hot items were not very hot but they tasted good. The location is a good spot for doing day trips to see the rest of the island.
We had a three night stay at the inn. Our room was beautiful and had a porch with seating. The property is very well kept and quiet. Breakfast was buffet and the only negative comment I have is that the hot items were not very hot but they tasted good. The location is a good spot for doing day trips to see the rest of the island.

A comfortable stop on our travels on PEI. Our room was on the main floor which meant we had to have our blinds closed for any privacy. I would prefer a better hair dryer. Otherwise responsive and welcoming staff, a clean room and a good breakfast.

I experienced a cleaning service that was incomplete, leaving behind a dirty cleaning cloth and a partially cleaned room. When I informed the front desk they were also confused. The lady in the front desk was kind and helpful but it was very weird to come back to a room, where clean my room sign was flipped, bathroom was super neat but room was left as is with cloth on the chair. I also lost my very precious swimsuit in the hotel during my stay.

The rooms were roomy with window A/C units that were quiet and effective. The property was pretty and well maintained. The breakfast included a selection of egg cups. The service was a little slow (not enough water, no decaf coffee, not enough silverware, not enough clean cups). Do not expect to get real internet at this property. When the day staff and the maintenance staff arrive around 8:30am, the bandwidth drops to zero and you won't even be able to load and read your email. Compared to most of the other hotels we stay in, not having a competent internet seems way below par for the price we paid. Our room had a king size bed and a very nice alcove with a couch. We liked that they provided plates, silverware in addition to the standard wine glasses and cups, coffee maker and mini fridge. Yet there was only one chair and no table to each on. There was plenty of room for a table and chairs, so we were mystified at why they were missing. Also, no coffee table for in front of the sofa or desk. We stay in a lot of hotels and they all have a table or desk to use with a computer.

I can't say enough good about our stay here. The staff were always friendly, the facilities were top notch and the breakfast each morning was delicious. I loved sitting on the big porch with a fresh cup of coffee each morning and watching the sunrise. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and when we opened the door to our room, we found a beautiful note, a bottle of sparkling cider and a bag of assorted chocolates. It was the best place we could have stayed to celebrate our years together and Kindred Spirits Inn will hold a special place in our hearts!

What a lovely spot! This adorable and quaint Inn was perfect for a quiet stay in PEI. The charm of this place makes you want to stay again and again. Our regret is only staying one night! Breakfast at the Inn was included with our stay and was very tasty. We stayed in the junior suite which was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. Walkable to Cavendish Beach and Anne of Green Gables and also the golf course. Just such a peaceful stay - we can’t wait to go back!

This was a very nice stay on a long awaited return to PEI. Our room was very comfortable, the included breakfast was very good and the ground very nice. We were walking distance to many restaurants as well. Being right in Cavendish was nice as well.

This property is off the main drag – when we first pulled into town I was worried we were in a very commercial busy area but it’s off of a quiet lane and has a large green property. We were able to walk directly to Green Gables on a wooded path And had the best dinner of our trip in North Rustico, which is just 10 minutes away. The whole property is so clean. It appears like they bleach everything Or every surface is repainted every day! The breakfast was delicious. We were able to sit outside on the veranda and enjoyed the beautiful day . Our room was in the guesthouse and had a very comfortable bed and excellent shower

We were able to walk to the Green Gables/ Avonlea Village from the hotel, so that was nice. Overall, a quaint inn with comfortable room. Just not a regular hotel.

Amazing!! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Very clean, comfortable B&B type historical inn. The breakfast was amazing! The grounds are fantastic. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Beautiful walk to the beach is a must do if you stay here. We made the trek twice.

The room was spacious and very clean and the whole complex was very well maintained. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There were two areas where improvements could be made. One was the tv system which was very dated and had a remote which required to be pressed about 10 times to change the channels. The other was the breakfast offering which was very limited. I dislike waffles so I asked for toast instead. Was told "we don't keep bread for toast". Croissant would have been acceptable but none of those either.

Absolutely charming with beautifully kept grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient, walking distance to Green Gables Heritage House. Breakfast was delicious, the homemade strawberry and blueberry sauces for the waffles was a real treat! I wish our stay had been longer!

Super clean and comfy bed. Breakfast was homemade and tasty. Especially enjoyed homemade whip cream and blueberry sauce for French toast bake. Some nights there was cookies or apple pie bars out for guests. Wish we could have had fire one of the nights but we weren’t there on those scheduled nights. Was concerned our first floor room would be noisy and not private but no issues at all. Hot tub was clean but outside towels provided were thin and looked old.
