Motel vue Belvédère

I was disappointed when I arrived at 8 p.m. to find the pool already closed and does not open until 10 a.m. checkout is at 11, so I will already be gone. Room is tiny and overpriced; no microwave, sofa and bathroom is outdated.

The views of the St. Lawrence River from the hotel are stunning. Beds are super comfortable. Were disappointed the hot tub and pool were not open and there was no indication of the hot tub only beeing open in peak season. Housekeeping did not reset the room after night one of our 2-night stay. We also got overcharged by $20 but did not make an issue of it. Overall, enjoyed the hotel and the views were amazing.

Endroit où l'on peut relaxer avec belle chambres propres, rénovées et avec des beaux balcons ayant vu sur la mer. De plus il y a une belle piscine chauffée et un bain tourbillon.

Très belle chambre avec grand balcon qui donne sur le fleuve. Piscine et spa très agréable. Le spa fait face au fleuve alors la vue wow!

La piscine etait extrêmement sale av c olein d’insectes Autour et dedans! Aucun micro-ondes? 1/2 Bain! Aucun verre en vitre sauf en plastique, oreillers horribles! Television tres mal placee dans la chambre, decor cheap! Aucun fan dans la chambre de bain! Le motel ne vaut pas le prix et je n’y retournerai plus et je vais le mebtionner a mes amis!!

Quaint clean suite with beautiful view of the St Lawrence River and the mountains. Safe motel with friendly staff. Nice outdoor pool with hot tub. Our family enjoyed our stay.

Magnifique vue et emplacement. J'ai adoré mon séjour. Le spa avait un peu trop de chlore par exemple...malheureusement mon maillot neuf a été entièrement décoloré et il est désormais bon pour la poubelle... Ce fût ma seule déception.

Très belle étape sur notre séjour au Québec. Bel établissement, chambres avec vue dégagée sur le fleuve. Le spa demanderait un peu d'entretien. Restauration et petit-déjeuner possible à 5 mn à pied.

Chambre propre

Près du fleuve et du traversier. Généralement bon, calme, belle vue et bien situé. Mobilier et équipement de bonne qualité. Déjeuner sur le balcon privé de ma chambre avec la vue sur le fleuve, ça relaxe! Les seuls bémols: Une tuile de plafond suspendu tachée, mais sèche dans la salle de bain, pas de ventilateur dans la salle de bain (la fenêtre ouvre, mais ouvrir la fenêtre sur le stationnement, ce n'est pas assez intime), la porte de la salle de bain ne ferme pas complètement (car porte enflée). Ces défauts étaient mineurs. C'est dommage d'avoir a le mentionner, car j'ai été bien reçu et j'ai passé une belle semaine. J'y retournerais sans hésitation.

Booked two nights. Arrived on first night and somehow reservations had been cancelled even though I had a confirmation. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us. Arrived back for the second night and room had not been cleaned , made up and no fresh towels and coffee. Very disappointing. If I have to make up my own room why do I have to pay full price for the second night?

Wonderful view, very modern rooms amd friendly staff. We stayed two nights, no housekeeping service was offered. There is a coffee pot and mugs in room but no coffee. Everything else was nice.

Got upgraded to the room with a balcony facing the waterfront, highly recommend, the view was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Room was clean but the smell was weird… tolerable but not great. We arrived late after 9pm and had no problem with checking in. Probably similar to other motel, tons of mosquitos flies, for ppl who re allergic to certain mosquitoes, be aware of that… also how water from the shower was extremely unstable. The water turns ice cold in a sudden… river view was awesome. The weather was cloudy so we didn’t see the sunrise but saw a whale from the balcony.

Nous avons choisi cet établissement pour sa proximité avec le quai d'embarquement du ferry pour traverser le St Laurent. Le gérant a tenté de nous faire payer un supplément de 20 dollars pour avoir une chambre avec vue mer. Nous avions réservé sans vue sur la mer, car nous arrivons le soir et repartons tôt le matin. La vue sur mer la nuit n'avait aucun intérêt pour nous. Nous l'avons refusé. Cependant, nous avons eu chambre avec vue mer, car il a admis qu'il attendait un groupe et avait besoin de la chambre initialement réservée. Sa tentative de gagner 20 $ a échoué !!! Il n'y avait pas de bouilloire dans la chambre. J'en ai demandé une à la réception. On m'a répondu qu'il n'y en a pas et qu'il faut passer l'eau sans café dans la cafetière pour obtenir de l'eau chaude pour un thé. La salle de bains : trop petite, aucune tablette pour poser ses affaires, rien dans la douche pour poser son savon. La dose de shampooing est dans sachet impossible à ouvrir sans ciseaux, espace trop étroit entre le lavabo et les toilettes. On se cogne. Chambre mal insonorisée.

Nous avons trouvé que la chambre était très petite pour le prix que nous avons payé ( une chambre deux lit queen pour 400$ ), le système de climatisation était extrêmement bruyant, nous n'avons presque pas dormis. La chambre était très propre, mais c'est un belle attrape touriste. Je déconseille. Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que l'ont a.

The hotel room description and photos on this website are mis-leading: the room was a lot smaller than described (12 sq. m. instead of 20) and the washroom was quite different than the website photos; it didn't have a bath tub, and instead it had a super small shower (2 ft. x 2 ft.) and the washroom sink and mirror were located outside of the washroom. The bed size was not a size queen, it was a size double. The WiFi connection was very slow, to a point where it was unusable. The price was a real ripoff for this kind of shack, at $260 CDN a night, which would have been acceptable for a decent room, so we didn't get our money's worth. Beware of the information shown on this website, as this is an old motel that was renovated with cheap materials, and is not worth renting for more than $100 per night One advice: ask to see the room before you pay, because they will ask you tonpay the full stay upfront. Afetr you've seen the room, you can decide if it's worth the amount they are about to charge you.

Zimmer sauber, alles in gutem Zustand, aber sehr kleines Zimmer und superkleines Bad (besonders die Dusche war winzig und für Erwachsene kaum geeignet). Beim Check-In wurde uns ein Zimmer mit Meerblick angeboten, wobei uns der Mehrpreis nicht genannt wurde. Allerdings konnten wir es zurückgeben.

|For $300 I expected better than a small, cramped, crowded room. I was under the impression that we would get a King sized bed with lots of room. Never again.

Great view of the river, walkable to beach but ferry crossing in front of motel so many cars trucks waiting in que all day. Room has clean floors and comfortable bed but room and bathroom are small. Balcony is spacious but so many deer flies impossible to sit comfortably after dark.

The place was beautifully maintained and located. The staff was welcoming. There are a few things the staff should have told us that everything closes down by 8 pm. Being from the city, we normally eat a late supper. There was nowhere to eat. The air conditioner in the room needs to be replaced. There is not even a microwave or any shelving for clothes. The room is TINY!!!

The manager was welcoming and friendly. The room had the most panoramic view of the river which we enjoyed from the beautiful balcony! A fantastic property with super clean rooms.

Great service. We arrived late at night. They answered our questions regarding the ferry. We enjoy our stay. We will be back next year

Dame à l’accueil très chaleureuse et bienveillante! Elle nous a offert une chambre avec une vue sur le fleuve plutôt qu’une vue sur le jardin tel que prévu. Grandement apprécié comme geste de générosité! 🙏💛

Lovely well maintained older Motel. Friendly staff. A couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. Gorgeous view of the St Lawrence. Two minutes from the ferry to Rivierre de Loup.

J’ai réservé ce lieu en cherchant un hébergement à rivière du loup car il était afficher. Quand j’ai constater mon erreur, j’ai communiqué avec avec le milieu et ils ont dit ne pas être capable d’annuler. Quand le site expédia a communiquer avec eux ils ont encore refuser Donc ils ne m’ont pas donner la vrai raison. Souhaite seulement avoir votre argent. Aucun respect pour la clientèle. Vraiment du jamais vu. SERVICE CLIENTÈLE POURRI.

Staff here were not helpful, friendly or polite.

The check-in desk felt rushed and not friendly. It was our anniversary and I was excited to surprise my spouce. The room was clean and had a nice view of the beach and ferry. It wasn't right on the beach. Also no info in the room on where to eat or take out menu. The rooms were not sound proof, heard the neighbors through the walls all night. Over priced for lack of conveniences.

This motel overlooks the St Lawrence river. We had a river facing room with outdoor balcony, the view was beautiful. Rooms were large and very clean, queen beds were comfortable. Location is very convenient to nearby whale watching or hiking.

I had booked through Expedia and was thus given a standard cottage on the hill, which I could not drive to...with a bad leg, my only option was to upgrade to a room in the main building with a parking spot...which came with a price tag of an additional $145...on top of the more than $300 I had already paid. The owner explained to me that on-line bookings are not given any status! There are very few dining spots...only one open the night we were there and it was cramped and hot....thhe A/C could not keep up....and they cancelled take-out service because they were too busy. The Auberge on the lake provided an excellent breakfast in the morning at a reasonable rate. The beds were fine, but the a/c seemed funky and intermittent.
