Super 8 By Wyndham Mansfield La

Prices were what initially grabbed my attention being beyond affordable... So the amazing front desk staff and how nice & hospitable tht front lobby was as well as having rather nice rooms and a very well kept parking lot and overall lovely property visually... All of that was enough to have me totally sold on the Mansfield, LA Super 8 for all future stays in that area!!... And I am willing to back up every bit of this review I'm typing out because I'm booking another stay with them as soon as I submit this review!

The entire wall of the shower was dirty. The pillow cases and bedspread had large dark stains. The carpet also had pink, red, and brown stains on the carpet. The door was damage and I was able to place plastic bags at the bottom of the door to keep the air from outside coming in and bugs from coming inside.

Staff was very nice! Traveling by myself with two small children, I felt safe in the environment. Could use a deep clean. Shower curtain was moldy and torn. Wash towels were stained. One of our pillow cases had, what looked like, a small blood stain.

Sheets were not changed to the point a body imprint was still on the bed. If not the place is haunted. Gross! Welcome committee included bugs some walking others not so much.Gross! Bedspreads came with crusty dried fluids. Gross!

The room smelled like a lot of cleaning products, although the bathroom wasn’t cleaned & a lot of hair was all over the tub.

The rooms were filthy. The bathrooms were so nasty and filled with mold and mildew. You were to get in the tub you were definitely bound to catch a disease. Comfort 8 in Mansfield, La wasn’t fit for the homeless to even live in and they had the audacity to charge $150/night!!! Do not stay at that hotel. The bed linen and chairs in the rooms needed to be set on fire they were so nasty and the rooms smelled awful!!! Please do not waste your time or money going to this hotel because there is nothing Comfort about it!!!

Dirty sheets, dirty sofa and dirty carpet

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The mold in the bathroom has to be toxic. The room smelled like a wet gym sock. Mansfield, La is not a place you will dine a five star hotel but this place was something else. It’s very shabby and not well kept.

It was conveniet to other stores. I searched online to make sure the room would have a coffee pot and a couch. Did not receive either. Plus the website says $25extra for a dog. When I checked in the lady said it was $50 for dog. I explained to her that is why I chose this hotel for the cost. She said she would only charge me $25 and apologized which I am happy she corrected that. Then when in room no coffee pot or couch. Not happy. Called front desk and she said none of the rooms have coffee pots?? Don't have that under amenities on website if it's not true. The room was dirty. Sections of carpet cut out because a dog probably had an accident. Mattress area was dirty. I had to worry about bed bugs!! Hair in shower and sink area and poop smears on bathroom wall. Refridgerator was dirty. Asked when the breakfast area was ready and she said at 6:00am. Nope all doors were locked until 7:00. Other guests were waiting to make some changes to their stay and were not able to. Don't know if they opened at 7 cause had to leave my room cards in a slot cause no one answering buzzer.

I didn’t like the fact that I had a used bar of soap in my shower.. I drove 5 hours to get there. On top of that when I got there the lady tried to act like my room wasn’t paid for, and I went on my app, and it clearly said paid. Then she said just in case the room was damaged I needed a card on file. She should have just said that instead of trying to play with my intelligence!! I have stayed before and it was cool, but I don’t think I will be staying again!!

The TV wasn't working, could not get any channels, telephone wires was cut, couldn't reach front desk, therefore had to leave room to voice our concerns. Toilet lid was broken could not sit on without fear of falling over... would never stay here again...

The room smelled like mildew. The A/C was leaking all over the carpet. The mini fridge was not cooling. The phone was out of order. The shower faucet was leaking. The tub was rusted and peeling from the water leak.

Wi-Fi didn’t work, Tv it worked half the time. “breakfast” - was expired cereal, with the option of waffles (the batter was multiple colors) and white bread and butter. Our door, we have visible sunlight and heat coming through it, there was physical damage left from previous occupants all throughout the room. (I even made sure to take pictures so I would not get charged when I saw) We will not be back.

I reserved a room with a kitchen and the cooktop didn’t work,they didn’t bother to tell me this when I checked it however they knew it didn’t work and said it’s a $509 repair. I also didn’t receive clean towels and my trash wasn’t take out.

Honestly service was not great we got there at 1:30 am and it was in the 40s and then the lady who came out locked the door and took about 30 to 45 to get us in while ww were outside in the cold they gave us the paperwork thru a window after all that time and then inside the rooms even when reserved a nonsmoking room, it smelled like cigarettes. Never coming back here

Just an overnighter, staff was friendly, motel is older but the room was comfortable.

The peace and quiet and how convenient everything is.

We booked our room on Expedia, which ended up getting double booked, and we really needed a kitchen to cook our meals since our family has celiac's disease. We got put in a small room without a kitchen for a night until things got straightened out. The deadbolt got stuck while we were in our room and our young child was terrified. We ended up having to escape out of the window. I asked for a discount for everything we had to go through and they said that they could not do anything for us since we booked online. I was happy that the staff eventually did get us the room that we originally booked but disappointed that they didn't offer us something in return for all of the hastle we had to go through.

Bed was very comfortable.

Well booked a room with a kitchen when I arrived and checked in went to my room and saw it didn't have a kitchen went back to the front desk to tell the woman that I had booked a room with a kitchen she said that I had booked just a regular room even though my Hotels.com app clearly showed I had booked a room with a kitchen she was very rude about it will never stay there again

Just a Hotel, however the lady working the desk was very pleasant to work with , probley the best service i ever had from a hotel desk person

The staff at the hotel were not available to answer the phone for several days and nor returned calls to answer any questions about our stay. Breakfast was to be served at 6, we arrived at 6:17 and the doors were locked and no one to assist with questions. Nothing was ready for breakfast when we returned at 7:30. There was no spoons for cereal and no butter for the waffles and the coffee was horrible. The staff people seemed very nice. The towels are super thin so bring your own towels to dry off after a bath. The room was ver nice.

When I got there, I did not get a room. She rented my room to someone else, even tho I had a reservation. I was kicked out, and had to get a refund.

We did not stay at his residence in the first five minutes we were approached by multiple homeless people. The room smelled so rank of air freshener. It was choking. The lady at the front desk was not that great and knew it was a horrible place. We are still trying to get a refund, I would not recommend this to anybody

I was really disappointed with a breakfast being offered and being told at 7:00 am when the lobby was opened that the bacon and eggs wouldn't be cooked until later. We had somewhere to be and didn't have time to be waiting around.

Great management and on site they have dogs which were super friendly and breakfast was great house keeping was super nice and cleaned rooms great our car broke down

If you're going to charge $97 a night, the hotel breakfast shouldn't run out of milk and should have more on the menu than cereal, toast, yogurt, and waffles. I would not be complaining if the price was lower.
