We arrived at 2am and the check in was not an easy process. We were stood in the street trying to figure out the machine. Once in it was easy to find. Our apartment was ALOT smaller than expected. I went with three teenagers and it was basically two rooms to the whole apartment. However, it was spotless. No welcome fruit, but there was a little package of cleaning supplies. The receptionist in the morning was so lovely and helpful. The noise does travel down, so in the mornings I could hear the people in the flat above. It was in a good location with the shopping centre opposite. Lots of metros around. We did have a good stay, and would recommend. I think my expectations were a little higher than what we got.

The apartment was really nice, clean, and comfortable. However, it lacked basic items for cooking compared with other places we’ve stayed in. We missed having a wine opener and a rack to hang wet things. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. We underestimated how far the city centre was, which made things a bit difficult when you have young children who don’t want to walk much, so we ended up spending a lot of money on transportation. Public transport to the city centre is good; however, for a family of four, Uber was a better alternative, costing about the same as going by bus. The check‑in process at the machine by the door was slow and lengthy; it asked for details that had already been provided on the Hotels.com website. The lady at reception was really nice and helpful when we saw her, but communication through the website was not good. I sent three messages with questions, and none of them were answered. That said, overall the place was very good. I would recommend it.

Un séjour agréable, mais une insonorisation à revoir Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appart’hôtel. L’appartement était mignon, fonctionnel et suffisamment spacieux pour 3 personnes. Dans l’ensemble, il était très propre. Petit bémol pour la salle de bain, où nous avons constaté quelques taches de moisissure ainsi qu’une porte légèrement gonflée, probablement à la suite d’un ancien dégât des eaux. Le check-in avec la borne automatique s’est très bien passé : les instructions étaient claires et le système facile à utiliser. L’emplacement est également très pratique, avec un centre commercial juste en face pour faire quelques courses ou manger. L’établissement se trouve à environ 10–15 minutes en voiture du centre de Barcelone et de la plage. Le ménage passe en semaine, à des horaires convenables (environ 10h–13h), pour proposer le changement des serviettes et des draps. Nous avons aussi apprécié le petit kit avec éponge, liquide vaisselle, lessive et microfibre. La cuisine est bien équipée en vaisselle. En revanche, il n’y a pas de produits de base comme le sel, le poivre ou l’huile, à prévoir si vous souhaitez cuisiner. Le principal point négatif reste clairement l’insonorisation. Les murs semblent très fins et nous entendions facilement les conversations et bruits des voisins. Cela peut être vraiment gênant lorsqu’ils sont bruyants. Heureusement, nous avons surtout rencontré ce problème le dernier jour. 😅 Dans l’ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

I travelled to Barcelona with my family if 4, and finding hotels relatively close to the main tourist sights was as easy as I imagined. We had the opportunity to find ONA Living Barcelona and had an amazing experience. The hotel was very clean and exactly as described. My family loved staying here and we had an easy check in. We had arrived early and it was a great accommodation that they will hold your luggages until the check in time. You have time to experience the sights till your room is ready. The staff were kind and very friendly. A big shout out to Andrea for helping us with the luggages and a very smooth and easy check in. A bonus to mention is the hotel is across the Gran Via 2 mall. An amazing mall to do some shopping for souvenirs and for food. We will definitely come back to ONA when we visit Spain again. Thank you to all the ONA staff.
