very good price...place was clean and lots of room...no pool was closed .saw some ok people around but i would go again clean and updated

The whole bathroom was soaked water on the floor TV didn’t work lights didn’t work. Shower ran out of hot water after eight minutes. I will never stay at this place again and when I brought it up to the management, he didn’t care. He just gave me towels.

The room was filthy, moldy, water on the floor in the bathroom. Bedspread had hair on it. Bed skirt had mold and dirt. Pool was covered. Overall a terrible place to stay

The manager/owner does not care about the state of the rooms and property what so ever. The pool was not even open in August. When we pulled in to check in the police were checking a domestic disturbance in the room they put us in right next door. The manager just stated some people have “extended stays” and complain about not being able to tie their shoes so they call the cops.” The room reeked of cigarette smoke SOO bad, sand covering the floors, dirty bathroom and shower, someone stabbed the fridge with what appears a knife. This place was disgusting, we were so happy to leave and go stay somewhere else for the weekend, do not even waste $99 on this place!

Frugal room. Clean. WiFi needs improvement. Plenty of hot water.

I appreciated the low price because I stay at local hotels a lot The Wi-Fi access is not reliable and that’s a problem since I have to do work Facilities were definitely not clean, and there was limited privacy as far as the windows Front desk gentleman tried very hard to help me get access to the Wi-Fi and I appreciate his efforts

Thankfully i checked in at 9pm, left arrived back at 2am and was out by 7pm. There were dead roaches in every corner, there were some wondering around in the room, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been clean in months, the sheets and blankets were all stained with all kinds of who knows what. No toilet paper, never again!! If i could give it 0 stars i would. The pool was closed.. just horrible!! The man in the office did not care at all when i mentioned there was roaches everywhere. 0 STARS

I checked in and then got to the room, it was disgusting, broken furniture, stains in bedding, hair on bedding the smell was awful the bed was disgusting, the bathroom was gross the shower curtain was probably never cleaned, holes in wall, tape over peep hole and locks, i took the key back to the desk and said I would not be staying there. They asked if I wanted to look at another room. Not a chance. They actually were concerned if i had any pets!!! I would'nt even let my pet stay here let alone a human. I felt unsafe just checking in and should have trusted that instinct and just drove away.

It wasn’t clean, we couldn’t walk barefoot that we felt sand on the floor. We looked under the bed to check if we didn’t drop anything and there was so much dust and disposable containers under the bed. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Check in was ok. Not much noise but I would definitely consider to stay there again

I was scared to sleep at this property because it was super sketchy and the room was the nastiest room i have ever been in. There was cigarette burn marks on the comforter and under that on the sheets there were what looked like pee stains. There was one loose sheet over the mattress so when we looked under the sheets the mattress was covered in plastic with holes in it and to add there was what looked like gross human spunk smeared all around. My boyfriend and I could not possibly sleep in that room so we ended up sleeping in the car. We didn't want to ask for a refund from the man working there because he was also super sketchy. Will never stay here again no matter how cheap it is. I should have read the reviews.

Room was very basic. It was very loud, thin walls, people that live at the hotel come and go at all times of the night, loud road traffic, guests playing loud music late. My bathroom was disgusting with long black hairs all over the shower and a jelly bean in the shower (it had not been cleaned). Bed was old and uncomfortable and could not use the dirty, stinky pillows! Pretty gross room.

The bathroom shower curtain was yellow and smelled very strongly of urine. the whole suite smelled of urine. The sheets were stained. Everything looked like it was coming apart.

The room that was assigned to me smelt like heavy smoke. My wife has asthma and she definitely couldn't stay in that. I went to the owner/manager and explained to him on the condition of the room and without hesitation, he changed my room to a newly remodeled room. Apparently all the rooms are being remodeled. My new room was completely new and possibly differs family who used it since the remodel. When we left my son forgot his Nintendo switch adapter and the owner was kindly enough to call and send a text stating that it was found. I would definitely stay again.

Normally we don’t mind a no-frills motel down the shore, it’s a place to stay close to the beach, but this was pretty bad. New floors, paint job, and IKEA comforters are really just lipstick on a pig. TV wouldn’t turn on despite our troubleshooting, windows were broken/didn’t close all the way and had no screens (we used a belt to rig it shut to avoid bugs entering!), bed frames had wheels and would roll on the smooth floor when you sat or lied down, weird/suspicious stains all over curtains, stove had been ripped out and kitchen torn apart, cracked tiles, rust stains in the shower and elsewhere, and unsealed holes in walls where paper towels were stuffed in. The room was generally clean. Decent proximity to the boardwalk which is what we wanted. Staff was friendly, so I feel bad leaving this review but I can’t help but feel ripped off. I know it’s Memorial Day weekend and our booking was last minute, but $200/night for this room was criminal. Pool wasn’t even open. Should have paid well under 100… bare bones bare minimum

The towels were gray not white so did not use them. They looked dirty although the room was clean. It had a stove sink microwave and refrig but no cups for water or soda. There was an issue checking in. The man checking us in was not very personable at all. He instead on payment, which I understand as I choose pay at hotel, but was notified by my bank at 9:45am that payment was already made, I did not check in until 5pm. After going back and forth with me getting annoyed and ready to leave and him just not hearing me and insisting, my husband came in and showed him the charge on my back. He decided to just pay it and we would take it up with Hotels.com. While I was calling them, he all of a sudden found the charge slip, it was indeed charged at 9:45am. Keep in mind that check in time was 1 pm and it was now 5pm. When I asked why it was charged at that time and not when I got there, he had no answer.

Clean room, very comfortable beds, nice cold air conditioning, no noise from neighbors, stove, microwave, refrigerator, nice hot shower

Worst; One of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in a hotel, in my 54 years. Small, hard, and noisy👎. Best; TV had all the channels 👍

Do not recommend staying here. Our window was broken and only replaced with a removal wooden board. The door was broken: it was hard to lock and close. Spent 5 minutes trying to open with the key. The sink was broken: sign said "broke do not use". The bedding was dirty with brown and yellow stains, no duvet covers, pillow cases missing and ones that were there were dirty with yellow stains. Floor was dirty, under the bed there was brown liquid staining the floor. The room smelled liked cigarette smoke. Bathroom towels were not clean, they looked gray/yellow (supposed to be white) with make u stains. The ceiling of the bathroom was literally collapsing. I have photos of most of this. The stay was not worth the $177 I paid. The only plus was I did not see evidence of bedbugs.

I had a top floor that overlooked the inn. Which was cool. I admire the view. In the room, it wasn't magnificent but soon as i clicked on the heat, i felt immediately cozy. Floors looked okay. No hangers in the closet tho. And my room had a lovely couch. Check in went easy. I'd might come again in mid spring.

Was able to book last minute for an excellent price. Although the carpet was heavily worn and the bathroom was dated, everything was clean! Walls and molding were recently painted. Beds and linens were clean and fresh. At the main office, they were knowledgeable about the area, and the recommendations were wonderful!

We were not looking for a 5 star, we were looking for clean, well kept and comfortable. Point pleasant Inn was none of these. The gentleman at the front desk was very unfriendly, a mumbled and would not engage or make eye contact. We registered and went to our ground floor room.The few towels left in the room for us were soiled and only one bath towel was provided. I returned to the front desk with the towels in hand and it took a bit for them to find clean unsoiled towels. There were no screens, and the front window had no lock so again we went to the front desk to complain and they returned with a new lock and installed it. The motel room beds had no box springs, the frame was metal rungs so the mattress sagged between the gaps, the blankets were soiled as well, the mini fridge/freezer was frozen over. There was a hole in the shower ceiling that had been stuffed with paper towels. We were unable to find a new hotel because we arrived after the allowed cancellation date. I’m not confident in using your service again. We were extremely disappointed in the hotel.

This property seemed like a crack motel. They would t supply 2 keys for the people in the room. There was blood stains all over the comforter and some brown stains on the other. The towels also were stained. The air conditioner on the wall was completely broken so they put a tiny one in the window that barely cooled the room. The other people staying at the hotel seemed to live there and were not very welcoming. The pool - the main reason we picked this hotel was closed. And they lied about the location to the boardwalk. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!!
